Some details about Icons!

Okay! Now it's time to explain a few things about this new fandangled icon system!
Currently, our upgraded users will be the only ones who can see the open fields on their profile pages, in which they can enter a URL for both a normal icon, as well as a fun new feature; chat icons! Site staff have their ribbons, question marks, and rainbow paw prints, but now our upgraded users can have their very own 15x15 icon that will show beside their name in our live chat!
And as a special treat for everyone, we're going to make the normal icons, which show on your profile pages and in the forums, available to EVERYONE! :D The chat icons will remain upgrade-exclusive, but for normal icons, I feel like that's a feature that everyone should be able to enjoy. This news post will be updated as soon as this feature is released beyond the upgraded users!
Now, we do have to make an announcement now about something else that's going to change. We've run into problems often times where mistyped HTML in the Display name field will cause forum and Issue Hub posts a lot of trouble, as well as dealing with the issue of bright colors that can make it difficult to read your names. We feel the easiest solution is to disable HTML in Display names, and while we understand this might be a bit of a bummer for everyone, we hope you'll understand the need for this change. We are also giving consideration to limiting how many times you can change your Display name, but this is something that still needs discussion amongst the admins. It can often become very confusing, and has even been cause for misunderstandings and resultant drama, because it's so easy to mimic one another's user names, since not everyone can memorize the user ID# of everyone.
DO NOT USE STAFF ICONS!! We can tell who is a legitimate staff member and who isn't, and anyone caught using the staff icons in chat will face serious consequences, if not a potential ban for impersonating staff! Please don't do it!
In the meantime, we're still working out the new trial system, and for what's planned, it may take a while, but we're extremely excited for what's in store, and feel that the wait will be worth it! So hang in there, and thank you all for your continued support!

i also suggest making a forum thread for people to put all of their past names uvu it'd be a lot easier for a lot of people to find, and useful.
