A little something about the wiki...

Hello again, Alacratians! We want to express that, while we do appreciate the great amount of help you provide in filling up the wiki with useful additions, please be sure that what you are posting is indeed factual, and not based upon opinions, rumors, or hearsay.

This means, while it is not okay to post that, for instance "Rosencrown is the absolute best dog on Ala!" (despite how much many of us would agree!), it does not represent an accurate depiction of the dog in question, or why it is a part of the Wiki page.
A more adequate post would be, perhaps, "Due to her high stats and domination of trials, Rosencrown, owned by our own admin Jackdaw, tops the Top Dawgs list. She even has her own Random Event, where she steals some of your own dogs' kibble!"

In short, we'd like to ask that, despite your enthusiasm, please be specific and accurate in your contributions.
Thank you! :)

ZJ, yes I know that. Way back when someone brought the Wiki up into chat I would click the link and like edit it. c: I removed it though because I thought I would get into trouble. XD I know its okay to change it, but I didn't know that when I first joined. Lol!

No Aero, a wiki means all sorts of people can collaborate, but it does mean staff has to do a lot of work editing out non-facts, opinions, mistaken facts, etc if people don't pay attention to what they're writing. :3

*thought ; Think is suppose to be thought. >.< I didn't check my writing before I posted it. XD

Begging

Hey All,

Please remember that the shout box is for advertising on Alacrity. This means you have to offer something for whatever you're asking for.

Asking for training sessions, items, gifts, etc while offering nothing in return violates our General 11 begging rule, which you can read more about here. We have a lot of generous people here on Alacrity and the only way people can be generous is if you let them give without you asking for it.

So please remember, giving is free and welcome, but asking for free is begging. If you need help figuring out how to make money for those TS, items, or whatever else you'd like to have, please vist the Issue Hub and drop our Newbie Helpers a message, they have lots of useful suggestions on how to make money.

Guess What?

Hey guys! It's been awhile since we've done a "Guess What" so we'll be doing a few in the next week or two leading up to Christmas to bring about some Holiday Cheer. (Or prizes before the end of the world, whatever you choose to believe in! :3)

For those who haven't played before, we post an image that's a few pixels of an Alacrity item. Just respond to the news post with what you think it is! First person to guess right wins. You have to let someone else guess after you, you can't guess 3 times in a row. Wait for someone else to guess first!

None of the Ala staff is competing, but that doesn't mean you won't have stiff competition from your fellow players!!

Today's Prize: A Nessie Plush!

And the image:

Good Luck!

Edit: You have to let someone else guess after you, you can't guess 3 times in a row. Wait for someone else to guess first!!!

We have a winner!: ChestnutBrumby got it right with "Black Wolf Plush"!
