Well, it's a new month, and a new theme, as always! :D The art team had a lot of fun with this one, and we hope all of you will, too! It's also Alacrity's third birthday today, and we've decided to activate a 24-hour triple bone special, as well as offer all of you one random free item! Keep a look out, as these will be implemented ASAP.

And while you and your dog are exploring the dusty western landscape, be sure to watch your step! There are tumbleweeds and snakes out there, that you might just stumble across.

The art team worked hard on the following list of items, both for the Monthly Shop, as well as some fun new additions to the Main Shops!

Great Plains Background (Xylax/Rabby)
Old Western Town Background (Xylax)
Saloon Background (Xylax)

We're also offering something new this month for our contributors! A special, exclusive Old West Bundle, which contains items available only within that Bundle and nowhere else! It contains...

Arizona Buttes Background (Xylax)
Wild Grullo Mustang (Rabby)
Flying Condor (Moriarty)
Tall Red Grass (Xylax)

We all hope you have an excellent month, and thank you for being with us for another year! We have so much in store for the site to help it grow, and bring new features and experiences to you, our loyal users, and we can't wait to see Alacrity blossom to its full potential. With the help of all our contributors, as well as casual players, and the hard work of staff, we know we can make Alacrity truly great! :D

Dog Name Voting

Hi All,

Voting for the design is closed and now voting for the name is open. This will take place much like the design voting; we will have an initial vote and then a final vote from the top choices.

Before you run off to vote, please read the rules:

1) If you are the creator of one of our nominations, you can vote for your name.
2) Nobody can advertise or solicit votes for a certain name. That means please don’t advertise in chat, in forums, in the shout box. Do not pressure anyone to vote a certain way. If you’re worried about this rule, just keep your opinion on the names to yourself. :3
3) Be respectful of our top submissions, it's okay if you don't like them and you may say so, but remember that others do, so please do not make disparaging comments.
4) If the name is your submission and you solicit votes for it, we will disqualify your entry, which we do not want to do!
5) If you are the submitter of one of the names, please keep it to yourself. We want votes to be on personal like for the name, not for the namer.
6) Vote for the name you think suits him or her best. Gender will be decided by the final poll.

Our names are listed alphabetically, and with the submitter's comments if there were any given:

Alastair
Brio : vigor or vivacity of style or performance
Celerity : synonym for Alacrity
Sebastian
Spry : lively and agile
Velocity

Remember, this name is what you think suits this design best. Only you know what name speaks to you for a Sheltie Mascot!
