Custom Dog Ideas

Hello, and welcome to my custom idea shop! I really enjoy playing with the Custom Tool, but I certainly don't need that many customs, so I decided to sell designs them to other users.

Prices

Each design is $2,000 and will only be sold once.

Once you have paid, I'll message you an image of the Custom Tool with all the markings, colors, and opacities in it.

Changes Policy

When you buy the design, you're free to make adjustments to the design. Eye color would be the best example - everyone prefers different eye colors, so just fill in whichever is your favorite in the design. But you can also change things like opacity if you want more subtle or obvious markings.

If you make enough changes so that the custom looks like a different design altogether, I'd like to still sell the original in this shop - but of course I won't charge you for it. More on "inspired" designs below.

Requests

Rather than do "commissions" of designs for individuals, I'll be taking requests. The string attached to these requests is that I'll be selling the design(s) here if you dislike them - though I'll be willing to talk exceptions.

Requested designs cost the same as any other design. Give me something to work around: favored color scheme, favorite marking, bone price, complex or simple, etc. And of course the breed. I'll generate two to four separate designs to offer to you, you can buy whichever you like, and the rest go up for sale here.

Rules

-Please pay up front; I'll message you the custom's markings after your payment.
-Please don't hoard designs. Simply put, if you can't afford to make the custom, let someone who can buy the design. If you're dying to have a design, I don't mind you buying it; just don't have a stash of customs-to-be.
-When requesting designs, please just send in one request at a time. And be patient with me; sometimes the inspiration strikes and sometimes it doesn't.

Other than that, just be friendly and stuff. :) I would love posts of designs turned into customs, feedback, chatting, and anything of the sort.

A note on design theft

Designs inspired by my designs are fine - in fact, they're great! If my white-over-brindle inspired you to make your own design with covered brindle, then I'm thrilled, and I would love to see your design so perhaps we can keep the chain of inspiration going. ;)

But if you make a design without paying for it, it will make me very sad. I will crawl into my sad corner and have sad parties where I cry. I don't think my prices are steep at all considering how much the custom itself costs, and I put effort into these designs. Plus, if you make it and I sell it to someone else, your custom isn't very original/as valuable anymore.

About My Designs

Generally, I like intricate layers of markings and lots of color! So if you want something else, you'd better request it. ;) I don't pay attention to price when I make my designs (probably unfortunately), but I do pay attention to rarity of markings and colors. I also consider how markings will be passed on to pups; every good custom should have loads of adorable babies! :D

I'm currently comfortable with Huskies, Shelties, Papillons, Jack Russel Terriers, and German Shepherds. Expanding into new breeds involves me sitting and exploring/memorizing all of the markings of that breed, so it takes time. Sorry for the wait.
