Buying and Selling Account Rules

It has come to our attention that many of our users are confused as to what to do when buying/selling accounts. So here is what you need to do to follow Alacrity rules regarding account sales and purchases.
1: Notify mods via issue hub the moment an agreement has been reached for sale/purchase of the account. In this issue, tell the mods the account your keeping (if you are), the account you're selling, and to whom you are selling the account to.
2: You have 24 hours during access of your old side, new side and main to transfer items, finish your sales transaction of your old side, or have your old side frozen. Only 24 hours.
3: If you are selling your side, and plan on creating an entirely new account for your side, let the mods know in the above issue hub issue you create. Your new side will be stripped of it's pack to new players, the start up money and any items regarding special occasions. (For example, since you have already claimed your free gift for Alacrity's birthday, you cannot claim one on your new account.)
4: By not notifying mods or taking longer than 24 hours to transfer, sell, freeze your old account, you will be in violation of General Rule 9. If you're unfamiliar with it, please check out The Rules
5: Any fines that you are currently in debt for will transfer over to your new account. All of your past rule violations will be transfered over as well. Creating a new account or purchasing a new one will not give you a clean slate. And alternatively, in purchasing an account from someone, you will not be held accountable for any of the previous owners outstanding fines and past rule violations.
6: Do NOT, under any circumstances, sell bones on the account. We have rules regarding this, it can land you with an automatically frozen account. Just use the bones to purchase upgrades or additional slots to make your account more desirable instead.

7: We do not transfer over perks or anything except Forever Upgrades. This will remove the Forever Upgrade from your account if you wish to sell it yourself. Good luck in your sales!
