It started off white, cold, and solid. Then, it became kinda puffy. It was red by the time I went to sleep, and it's still just a red mark. It hurts a lot. D:
I wish I could find some burn medication. I haven't been able to find it all night, and I've looked everywhere! It sucks, I have this big burn on my forearm and it hurts really bad. :(

I have to admit, Cody has always had a chalkiness to his fur ever since I could remember. He might just be laying by the fire too much, but his chalkiness is crazy. I get a funny smell and my hands feel like I was just playing with sidewalk chalk.

yea her body was gone there was so much toxicins that it was dieing even faster she would have never recovered it just happened so fast
she wouldn't have even woken up they were giving her 5 minutes - 1 houre of survival after the cpr and all they wouldn't even give her a day
i know it was best thing the only thing left they could do was paddles and chest compressions both would have shattered every bone in her chest causing excruciating pain and if she survived that she would be in pain the whole time and they couldn't promise she wouldn't crash again within 5 minutes her kidneys and liver were completely gone even if they had gotten her to stay alive on life support through it all she never would have woken up and her body was steady shutting down more we would just have been prolonging the inevitable
thank you for your kind words... i have thought over night and long and hard... i think my decision to give her the DNR was was the best thing i could have done for her i'm holding up better than my sister but it's a lotta changes so fast

I can't say anything else other than "Holy crap.." My dog has completely stopped his pawlicking, not even fully transitioned into his new food. Cody is doing a lot btter, his $12.95 medicated shampoo caused him to be so shiny the other night he looked like a piece of wrapping paper! My boy has so much more energy because now he can actually sleep at night, I used to have to keep him out off my room because his licking was so loud. D:

I have always heard about this breeds tendency to gain weight and was obsessed at keeping him at the 25 lbs mark for his own good. (especially with such a long back!) I have been feeding him this Science Diet Lite for 3 1/2 years now thinking I was doing good for him. My vet had recommended the science diet brand to me when he was a puppy and trusted the brand 100%. Probably 3 years ago Kirby started to get frequent ear infections and occasional hot spots. Along with this came frequent licking of his paws. I didn't think it could be the food, I just assumed it was from environmental allergies. I've had him on prednisone to help with his allergies for the last 2 years. Above all, his his mood has been steadily going down. He used to be very happy and playful, but he had become lethargic and slept most of the time. He did like science diet lite though, gobbled it down every time. I somehow stumbled across this website and started reading your reviews, and started to educate myself on the ingredients used for dog food. I was appalled at how low quality this dog food was. (Especially for what you pay for it!!!!) I read a lot of your reviews and decided to switch him over to Blue Buffalo Chicken and Brown Rice. He has been eating this for the last 2 1/2 months now and his doing great!! My old dog is back!! He's got energy again, his hot spots are gone, and his allergies are much improved!! He's been off his prednisone for over a month now and is doing fine. I was a bit worried that he would start packing on the pounds because this BB chicken had quite a bit more calories, but he hasn't. I just feed him a little over a cup a day and he's doing fine. I used to feed him 2 cups a day of Science Diet Lite, so I'm saving almost a full cup of food each day. I'm sorry I didn't discover how bad Science Diet Lite was earlier. As for the one on his belly, it's about 2 inches long and some is red the rest is a fleshy pink. There is close to no hair in the right leg where the spot is located, and the left leg is a tad furrier.
He must have gotten them yesterday while he was at a dog show, maybe from laying in a small puddle of water and dragging his belly through the morning dew. They've only became visible since this afternoon. If it help, a little girl was scrathing his tummy yesterday around 8:30 and there were no marks to be seen, his armpits were fully furred and his belly free from any spots.

If I had a picture and I can't use the magic wand on it and I'm too "lazy" to select it all myself and I put another layer on it to manipulate the color, but the color goes off the sides of the desired area how do I get it away without erasing it or selecting it myself?

Well not 100% sure what you mean, but I'll explain it the best way. I sometimes have a load of excess cash, and not a bunch of training experience. So I decided I'd make someone happy(by having a lovely trial dog) for 2 days, and it helps me too. I get Faux trained faster. That's how you enter by training my Faux a bit. Then on the tenth I'm literally going to put the name on little pieces of paper, jumble them up, and choose a person at random to have him. Anyone can win. Even someone who has 10 capped maxed trial dogs.

Clay that's what I do bathe as many times as can (rarely can do more then once) then brush then feed.. Usually brings up to 110 or more, but for tipper wouldn't accept bath at all.when I looked at page was 100. Training him seems to accept fewer too.

Clayton saw question about feeding cats, not entirely raw benefit wise but if can afford it, started my senior kitty on Stella and Chewy's freeze dried raw, she loves it. We just supplement one feeding a day, canned and Stellas. She even drags it out of cupboard! Loves all flavors, we use the dog formula, more flavors and less grain then most canned.. Vet said fr her age teeth incredible, only had them cleaned twice I think.

I've never seen a lethal white foal's eyes, and I've noted one site has stated that the lethal whites have blue eyes. But, most sites don't even mention the eye color, and others tend to claim the syndrome to be albinism - though I'm hesitant to believe based solely off of claims and little reasoning/proof. :c But, at the extreme least, there has been no LIVING albino horse (recorded). I will agree with that. xD

I only wish albinism was given an EXACT definition. Maybe then the issue would be resolved...

Perhaps we'll never know for sure. >.<
And perhaps neither side will even fully agree with one another. xD It is hard to start believing the opposite of what you once believed...

I wouldn't bring any dog to a dog park personally, you have no control over who brings their dog. People don't pay attention, but fights break out, etc.
I've seen idiots toss a bunch of treats out in a crowd an a huge fight broke out...
My foster is dog reactive, she's not straight up dog aggressive (for me dog aggressive is a dog who wants to go after all dogs)
She did good with my Dachshund and the test dog at the shelter. But she goes nuts when she sees another dog while leashed.
So it'll be hard to place her @_@

Yeah :( It's sad, backyard bred dogs make me nervous when they're not fully matured. You never know if they inherited that gene or not.
A big time dog fighter would rarely have a APBT that didn't like people. They only time they'd keep it is if it was a big winner. A lot of famous dog fighting dogs have been stolen, like Jocko.
It's the idiots attempting to fight dogs, and use painful methods to make their dogs become aggressive who are scary and dangerous.
I do not support dog fighting at all, it's horrible. But a professional dog fighter isn't really a threat to public safety (well not his dogs)
But idiots trying to make them mean need to be weeded out more. Consideringthey're easy to catch

Yep, that's how I know most of what I know, too. I am in awe of the dogs that were taken from Michael Vick, because they were all able to throw off the aggression training and become gentle and trustworthy. Dogs are just amazing.

Yeah, it is really sad. There are so many things owners aren't aware of. Such as Salmon Poisoning here, it's not in only Salmon but other stream fish too. It has a 90% kill rate if not treats, it's in the fish' blood so they can get it just from drinking water.

By how to deal with aggressive dogs I mean things to look for. She has credentials in dog behavior...She was pointing out how Cesar simply takes a dog and begins corrections, etc. But when she handles an aggressive dog she looks at what causes that, does medical tests, and more...I can go copy paste it if you'd like.

I wish it was, but to get into bookstores I'd have to go through a distributer and most of them require you to order hundreds of copies of the book and then if they don't sell, I'd have to buy them all back from the distributor.. They're kind of rigged against the self-publisher or small publishing company >.< It's available online though and I do ship to Canada and overseas :D

Well, I worked on the sit stay at home. I gave him his sit command, praised, rewarded. Then put my hand out and said "bleib" I took a step back then marked that and rewarded. If he got up I verbally corrected and had him go back into a sit. I gradually increased the distance and time he has to stay in a stay. (bleib)
And we just infused that with the dock jumping. ^_^

I almost never use a treat pouch. ^_^ He's giving me direct eye contact during the video, and Dakota wouldn't work well for petting. Food is really what motivates him. The hand with the treats is behind his head and he still doesn't look at it. I've used the pouch once and it was in that video, usually I leave the treats on the table and get them if I need them.
I got a message back from my friend who helped us. He recommended making the trainings sessions shorter so that he doesn't get bored. And to play in between sessions. So we shall be trying that.

You cannot clicker train without treats. The clicker marks the behavior and you treat afterward.
I use "yes" as a marker, same principle, just verbal instead of a click. (For obedience your hands must be free.)

Buddy is a Bichon x roosterapoo, Oreo is a "fluffy kitty of ultimate doom" (she's black and white - looks like a jersy cow), and Cloud is a plain old blue Australian Budgie that you can get at any pet store. I did have a British Budgie that was hand raised. He lived to be 15 years old. I also had a guinea pig I adopted from the SPCA the first day I volunteered (I really wanted a rat but mom said no, lmao!).

I'd love to do Schutzhund with my boy, but he doesn't have the temperament for it. In the future I hope to get a German Shepherd (working line of course) form a reputable breeder.
A friend of mine has a GSD named Judge who is amazing, he has great work ethic, rock solid temperament, healthy structure, high drive, and an all around beautiful dog. I may contact his breeder soon and ask some questions. :)
