Happy Thanksgiving Alacrity!

Today is a day of generosity and being grateful for the things we have, spreading a spirit of positivity, love, and family.

So, I'd like to take a moment to express how thankful we are for all of you, both those who have been with us since the beginning, and for our new arrivals just coming in to the Alacrity family. It hasn't been an easy road, and there's still so much work to be done. But you've hung in there with us, through thick and thin, and continued to support us in our endeavors. Without your support, and the generosity of our site owner who pays out of pocket to keep us going, there would be no Alacrity.

A free item will be added to the news page later tonight or early tomorrow, a gift from us to you! And for our upgraded users, keep an eye out for the upgrade item that will finally be implemented asap!

Reply with what YOU are thankful for today! Family, friends, anything!

Happy Thanksgiving!

P.S. Great Danes are nearly done! The art team is working hard to get all the site's items updated for the new breed, and we're looking at a December holiday release date! :D For your viewing pleasure, a sneak peek!

I believe there will be a crop ear option so you may choose that or have a dane with natural ears =)

The Issue Hub, Staff, and You

Over the past month or so, you might have noticed a green box over staff members' pages, asking that you go to the issue hub for your problems.

Apparently this still is not stopping a lot of people from messaging staff instead of using the issue hub.

Now, I want to ask, do you know why using the issue hub is not only important, but also safer?

Because in the issue hub, there is documented proof of what's going on.
Admins can make sure Newbie Helpers are actually doing their job, and keeping up with the issues there.
Admins can make sure mods are doing their job keeping the site safe and handling rule breaking appropriately.

Mods and Admins can look in on helper issues and make sure the questions are answered correctly and, if the issue has been sitting for a few minutes, pick up the issue and handle it themselves.
Admins can see what's going on behind the scenes in regards to mod issues, making sure no one's out of line and the correct action being taken.

All in all, it's safer because the staff member cannot delete the comments they make. If someone steps out of line or gives wrong information repeatedly, it is documented. This protects you, the user.

Please keep this in mind before deciding that you'd rather send a message (that can be deleted, can be replied to with false information) to a staff member, instead of using the hub.

Thank you for your time and consideration on this most important matter.
