Chapter 1- Her feet skidding across the cold wet pavement, fast. She was running away, from her past, her troubles, and worries. When she got to the end of the road, she had reached her horse. They galloped off into the distant moonlight. That would be the last time her town would see her. She rode to a small shack in the forest far away from her town. She tied her horse to a steel post outside and grabbed her small bad that contained food for her horse and extra clothing for her to wear. She walked inside of the shack and shoved some broken twigs and dead leaves and put her bag down and placed her head on it. She lay there thinking about tomorrow, and she fell asleep peacefully. The next morning she had awoken to the sound of an owls hoot, she picked up her bag and went outside to feed her horse. She grabbed a 3 carrots from her bag and fed them to her horse, then she untied the rope and walked her horse over to a small creek and let her horse get a drink first. Next she splashed water onto her face and hands. Then she starred at her reflection in the water, and let down her hair. Her hair was a beautiful light brown hair with waves. Then she starred at her eyes which she thought was weird about her. Her right eye blue and her left eye green, then she heard a horse coming from the hill of the forest She hid beside a tree, thinking it was one of her uncles guards searching for her. She was right, when the guard saw her horse he had gotten off of his own to look in the shack then Kala took her forehand and backhanded him in his neck. He collapsed. Then Kala heard another horse coming and she jumped on her own and galloped off. __________________________________________________ I will do more later. Please tell me what you think. :)
