Thought you might enjoy seeing some of the behind-the-scenes work here at ala, that normally, would never appear on the finished site. I'll update this regually (or more likely, not so regually) with some of the more polished concepts, fun scribbles, abandoned images and possibly even WIPs, as and when I well.. feel like it most likely. ;P First up are some concept sketching for the next breed, the not so secret, Shetland Sheepdog. Shetland Sheepdog sketches I actually like to make a lot of concept art like this, as it helps me gain a feel for what defines and separates each breed from one another, as well as to create an image that will both be instantly recogniseable, and that will, hopefully, make everone happy (not always possible I know XD). I'm still a long way off with being happy with this breed, but I think I'm slowly getting things right. As some random trivia, each sketch takes between 5 and 15 minutes to complete, so there’s actualy around three hours of sketching just here! And some new images! Previews of october's backgrounds! These are going to be different from previous backgrounds... they're interchangabe. All middle ground part together As the packs will probably be sold Because mink wanted to see what the other middle grounds looked like on the blue background

Every time I look at this, I get a little bit closer to reserving my side account as a Shetland Sheepdog kennel. xD

The sitting one is my favorite too (even if the coat is a little too short).

I love these.<br />My favourites are the sitting one at the top, near the centre, and the portrait at the top, on the far right.
