I'm still trying. The feelings of Foo are still very raw for me. I just feel...lost. It was very unexpected since I was working with support and trying to get the glitch fixed but since someone had sent me items during a pet trade that were glitched, I'm out I guess. Ala's been a blessing though. I've been able to heal in ways that I hadn't imagined. I particularly like that I can now actually make my "memory" pets look like they did in real life. My first project will be Avani, which I've got the image saved on my profile. I've found that the forums are a bit slower than I'd like but that's to be expected with a site that's still growing. I assume that they will pick up once more members find out how awesome it is to be here hehe.
I hear ya. I was banned on the anniversary of pay to play so almost a month ago. I was depressed and seeking a place to spend my time. I'm glad I found Ala, it's really helped me move on from Foo.

Hey, thanks for recognizing me! I still play FooPets, and still have Creedy the pup you re-homed to me. I started here not to long ago since FooPets isn't as much fun anymore, but I couldn't imagine leaving and abandoning my pets, so I stay to play with them everyday, and try to find new goals to work towards. I have been here on Ala for a while, but I'm still getting the hang of things. Any tips or tricks? I just got a custom pit bull (since they are my real life breed) and was hoping to make his "attention span" better since he is flighty, but don't know how to do that. Other things you might think are helpful knowing would also be greatly appreciated! Well, take care, and it's fun to "run into" you here!

Okay cool, I think I'll definitely look into getting it. Yes I love the Bekka series, it's really good. I personally think it's some of her best work. I've read all of those series, they're awesome ^^ I especially loved both of the Circle of Magic ones. Have you read the Alanna books? Those are great too :) I've also seen them at used book stores, maybe you could look at one of them? They may have them :)

Aww, it's good that you were persistent with her. And yeah, Waya likes it. There's a fox that likes to tease her for her food, and until a few months ago, she and the cougar that we've had for years were friends . . . That is, until the cougar started making kills under my mothers window and stalking us. She had to be relocated. Waya's really smart too, she knows the elk, deer, and turkeys aren't to be messed with, but we have this bull moose that comes around once in a while that she just barks and barks at because he's a real danger. And she does that with the lynx, but really, that's it besides creeper people who come around once in a while.
Oh no! Waya's mother was a husky-german shepherd mix with a bit of wolf, her father was a wolf. That's awful. Waya hates to be inside so we've made this line type of thing that lets her run all over our yard. And we live on a meadow with elk, moose, and stuff. The entire area has nine foot fences around our meadow, so, she can run around if she gets off - which she has done before, lol . Waya always comes home.
Thank you, we named her after a wolf I'm the adoptive parent of. She's a great girl, especially considering her really abusive past - she was bred with the wolf in her for dog fights, but because she turned out with so much wolf, the owners first tried to drown her, but the landlord threatened to kick them out, then ran her down a road in their car with her chasing behind, attached with barbed wire, and eventually just left her until the landlord found her with the wire dug into her neck. She doesn't really need the training because she's good and knows to sit when and when to play or come back, but it's sort of cool to teach her how to shake your hand or grab something for you.
