Hi Sol, just wanted to let you know that Seductress x Apocalypse will be having pups soon - if you are still interested.
Yeah, the white/tan just looks really weird to me because it's impossible for a dog to be colored like that in real life. White only layers over color, and it can only move from the bottom (undersides, extremities) to the top of the dog. No color can be layered -over- white like that, and certainly not be layered over white and be on the underside of the dog. xp

Laika went into heat so I went ahead and bred her with Kashmir... Unfortunately, the predicts were better. Got two whites, a silver(blue)/tan and the odd white/tan combo. They're at the top of my kennel if you'd like to take a look, but if you're not interested I totally understand. I was rather disappointed... I might keep the white male, but I'll probably rebreed them in the future to see if I can get a better colored pup out of them.
Alrighty, I'll let you know when they both have puppies again. :) But yeah, with all the training you mentioned you still need to do, I understand wanting to hold off for just the right special pup. I'm that way at the moment in regards to taking in any more Shibas too.
I also have so many dogs right now that are getting older and I need to have puppies from, that for my next project... I'm just going to be saving up bones for increasing my kennel size since I'm really running low on space (getting into Shibas certainly didn't help, heh).

Blizzard and Tribal. :) They make really pretty natural pup predicts, as do my first custom pair - Razorblade and Bengal. I might breed Razor and Bengal again soon, and I also want to try my 2nd gen Shiba pair, Laika x Kashmir too. If you think any of those pairs might interest you, just let me know and I'll send you a note when I have puppies. It'll be a while yet for Blizzard and Tribal though... gotta max them, fix their stats, and hopeful get their speed/drive up a bit before I breed them.

Aw. I logged on today to get a message telling me that Shadow Dancer (http://www.alacritysim.com/dog.php?id=84309&action=viewlineage) passed away today due to old age. :( He was one of my first doggies here... Just thought you'd want to know that he made it pretty far in my care - he was around 255 months old.
All my original doggies have started getting old now and having critical health messages... I lost my first old one yesterday. And now Shadow Dancer today. Probably several more will follow in the next couple days... Only good thing about it is it will give me more space again. xp But it is sad to see them go when they've been with me for more than a year now of playing the game...

If I breed any pups with interesting white markings I'll give you a shout, I'm mainly training just the black/white pups now but sometimes I get full white or mostly white pups from the litters.
And yeah I'm maxing and selling now too, people just don't seem to be interested in puppies or they just sit there. It also ensures that they aren't bred before maxed and gives me something to do xD

I looked into vet school when I was in college, and I definitely realize how difficult it can be to get in... Don't give up if that's where you really see yourself going career-wise. :)

Haha I guess so! I'm glad I made it through another year too, only one more year left! Well then possibly grad school but I haven't completely decided what I want to do yet. Eh sadly it isn't I'm going to be a cashier at the supermarket down the street from my house, I've been looking for a summer job for ages and this was my last resort. :/ I really wanted to work at a doggy day care by me and I applied last year too but they never seem to need summer help sadly.
How are the "kids" doing? I'm dying to get another dog, but my parents aren't to keen on that idea so I'll probably have to wait until I move out and get my own place. Aww I'm sorry to hear that Sol, but I'm sure the cards will be in your favor, if not now, then sometime in the future. Never give up on your dreams. :) The vet tech school sounds cool though. I wish they had a program like that at a school in my area. I was reading your profile and if those are your mushing scores from this past season it seems like you did really well, that's awesome. OMG! There is a foundation male husky who is exactly like Secret... Same eyes, color, coat, I was like "Woah! Why is Secret here?" then I saw it was a male and I said "I MUST HAVE HIM!" xD I want him so bad! I hope nobody else bids... But I will keep bidding even if it will cost all my money :]

Okay so I took a looksie through...I didn't really see any pairs that I really liked...but then Selene has this one female that I also love...and if I offered to pay the breeding fee, I think they would have amazing pups. They have similar markings - both are maxed. Also, if you wanted to, I have the breeder's perk on my account as well as a Chance companion that could help boost the litter's TP if you trusted me enough to let Santiam come stay for the breeding. I took a look at Topaz, and I do like her but I think I may wait till Santiam has a litter. He seems to have bolder agouti markings which I like :3 Female or male, it doesn't really matter too much to me. I just feel the need to have at least one or two huskies at my kennel.

Thanks for the info... I did look on there to see what schools were listed and only you of I in Urbana Illinois was listed but that is like an hour or so drive from me and I dont have a car. So I'm planning on going to Illinois State and I heard they offer vet classes so I'm hoping I can go there for them. If I cant actually attend full veterinarian school there I will just have to apply at the one in Urbana after I get a car and complete the courses I can do there I suppose. I'm hoping to find a full ride scholarship or get a grant... I am pretty sure I wont have any problems with that because I looked up some of the requirements and I pretty much match them 100%... since I did graduate high school with a 4.0 GPA and Honors I literally have my pick of any school I want but because of tuition etc. it's a smaller list. Also... I'm not sure what kind of courses these are considered but they are for the Pre-Vet stuff and if you click on the links there are a list of pre-req. ones I have to take too: Click

Oooh, actually, on second thought - run some predicts with some of your non-black dogs (doesn't matter which). I assumed because of the all-black coat that he had black full.... he's actually only agouti... maybe he's worth it....

To be honest, I wouldn't. Black full markings are a pain - you cannot get rid of them EVER. Remember White Fang? Same problem only in reverse.

There ya go, Table Rock is just outside Medford. There is two, Upper and Lower, and both have a hiking trail. If you're ever in Medford then they're a must do. Even if dogs aren't allowed on the trail anymore, its a short, hour long hike and the view is AMAZING. The top is completely flat, hence the name. ;3

Our next big trip probably won't be until next year, it'd be great to go hiking together with pups someday though.

Oh! I love visiting the cascades. I go camping two or three times a year, usually out to the coast. I adore taking Draco hiking and there is a lot more hiking to be found out there than there is here. :P Ever been to either of the table rocks? They're a gorgeous hike, sadly no dogs are allowed. D:
Astoria is a truly beautiful place to visit. I've been all over the coast, wish I lived closer to it. :P I live in boring little Medford. The coast pictures on my profile were taken at Humbug mountain if you've ever heard of it? If not that's a place I highly suggest you camp at sometime, the beaches were lovely and, at least when we were they, pretty empty. Granted I don't see crowded beaches here in Oregon, the water is so dang cold. xD Not like it was in California! Those beaches were packed.

You know what my problem is? We have the same taste in dogs, so you always pick the one I would have, haha. I would take Mingan in a flash, but he's so similar to what I already have, I just can't think of where he would fit in with the rest of the gene pools. :P This is so frustrating!

Okay... Well, I have to say I'm taken with Eirian (she's stunning - good choice!) but not really with the rest. I can't do the brown eyes, since I specifically breed for blue, and Bran just doesn't wow me that much. Grrr, I feel like a total bum, especially since I have yet to choose a Likum pup, while you have had at least four of mine. *Is really sorry*

Ooh, who breeds the ARK lines? I'm waiting on my custom doggeh Kahlen to come into heat so I can pair her with Rough, their predicts are so cute! Rough has a stripped pattern so some of the predicts have some fasinating stripped patterns.

Basically I want a German Style GSD or GSDs however you wanna work it along with my kennel name readable...the rest is totally up to you. Be as creative as you would like.
hehehe I am glad you asked..Schutzhund is a 3 phase sport consisting of tracking, obedience and Protection it was originated back in german to prove that the GSD was breed worth and if he could not obtain all 3 titles they where not allowed to be bred. The test would prove the trainability, loyalty, courage and willingness to work and defend when threaten along with the temperment to be social. No problem. On both ends. I like your kennel here and your passion for your dog sport. You sound a lot like me. However, my breed is the "German Working" line of GSD and my sport and passion is Schutzhund that I train and compete in. And I too base that off of my kennel on ala.

Hey! Well, I just welcomed some new GSDs into my family (on my side account). They'll definitely be bred at some point, since their pup predicts are amazing, but I still have to train the female. The border collies, for now, are on time stop.
I'm focusing a lot on running trials recently, even with the Siberians, since the money is helpful and they get a boost in their skills.

My plan is to eventually breed them, but for now, I shall buy many baked goods (as I get the money) to bring up their speed and drive.I am sticking to the classic black and white, because, as you know, I love traditional coats. I think my mission with BCs will be a combination of traditional coats and high speed and drive (along with the perfect temp stats, good TPs etc etc, but I do that with the huskies too).

I love Ohio State, because you can do whatever you want to here, pursue what you desire.There are clubs for everything, and student organizations that support everything (we apparently have a bacon club and a bbq club). You did a fantastic job on it!! :D The only thing I would want changed is if you could darken that bit under her ear that sticks straight up, the part thats straight above her eye. So it's the same shade as the fur on either side. If that's to confusing, then it's really no big deal. Just a minor thing. And again it came out fantastic and I can't thank you enough. Hmm, since you are new, I would recommend waiting around for a nice Foundation dog to pop up, as they have lower TP's and are easier to train. D'aaw, it's fine. <3 I wouldn't recommend rushing in to by a dog, so just take your time choosing one that fits you best! It's your own custom tag that you make. Unfortunately, it's a feature only available to upgraded members. But, when you tag a dog, it means that it is yours. I usually only tag dogs that have been born from my own lines. :)

***When buying a dog from me, please max them before breeding. Failure to do so will result in your main and side accounts to be placed on my no sell list. It is also highly appreciated when they are trialed after being maxed. Other than that I simply request that each pup is taken care of properly. Should you desire to surrender a dog from me for whatever reason, I would be happy to re-purchase the dog for however much the dog was purchased, regardless of time passed. It is your decision if you want to sell the dog to another player, but know it is always an option to return the dog.
Who is Sol?
The name is Sol-leks, or Sol for short. I have an aspiration for Alacrity to create a working Siberian Husky kennel. I'm hoping to produce both good sled dogs and good agility dogs (this means TP of minimum 400 to 900). All will be of running lines ONLY (meaning no red showlines, only top notch personality and ability) and will be hopefully maxed out eventually, as well as earning their own sled dog degrees (from SHCA).
Sled dog degrees are as follows (Siberian Husky Club of America standard):
SD (sled dog): minimum 100 miles over 5+ races (Ala= 10 trial wins)
SDX (sled dog excellent): SD degree + 150 miles in 5+ races (Ala= 10 +15 = 25 trial wins)
SDO (sled dog outstanding): minimum 200 miles over 5+ races (Ala= 10 + 15 + 20 = 45 trial wins)
Mushing
In real life, I race and train Siberian Huskies with Tumnatki Siberians (Prineville, OR). This past season resulted in several high placings in pay-out races and the trial of some new races. I attended the Snow Dog Super Mush (Conconully, WA), Priest Lake Sled Dog Race (Priest Lake, ID), American Dog Derby (Ashton, ID), Bachelor Butte Dog Derby (Bend, OR), Stanley Sled Dog Rendezvous (Stanley, ID), and Mush Without Slush (Sisters, OR- dryland fun race).
I placed 4th at Conconully (6 dog, 20 mile), 3rd at Priest Lake (6 dog, 20 mile), 3rd at Ashton (8 dog, 20 mile), 4th at Bachelor (8 dog, 25+mile), ((non-placing at Stanley, 8 dog, 25 mile), and 1st, 1st, 3rd at Sisters (respectively: 4 dog scooter, 9-10 mile; 3 dog scooter, 5.5 mile; 3 dog scooter, 3-4 mile). Overall, my most winning season and one that partly paid for itself.
As for now, I am unsure what next season holds. I don't know if I'll still be in the area working, or at school again, so I'll keep this updated when I find out. For now, Wing (my no-longer-a-pup dog) and I are "bikejoring" around local trails just for kicks about once a week for the summer. I supplement the lack of running with hiking and backpacking.
My Pets
Besides the sled dogs, I'm owned by 1 lab/chow/pit Sasha, a black cat named Siri, and my Husky, Wingman (from Tumnatki). I partially own another cat, Shadow, and an African Grey Parrot, Sam (though these 2 live with my parents. I used to live with them and will for the next year). I have aspirations of making it to vet school and will be applying this summer. Hopefully I can get in the first or second try and fulfill my lifelong dream.
ART!
I DO art commissions. My specialty is realistic animals, though I can pull off cartoons and other such styles. I work with colored pencils, regular pencils, ink, oil/soft pastels, and markers. I do NOT do digital art, not with any talent at least. Prices are highly individualized due to the variety in possibilities. I may standardize eventually...

High detail or difficult pets to draw as well as backgrounds (besides a super basic base for the animal to sit on) will cost extra. Colored pencil high detail drawings will also cost more, due to the complexity or the drawing. High detail drawings involve the individual placement or every single piece of fur by my pencil. It is time consuming and hard to reverse once I've started. Reference images are REQUIRED for realistic images of a pet/animal.

What does Likum mean?
The kennel name is Likum Siberians (pronounced "lie-koom"). It is a mixture of two Chinook words, Kumtux (meaning to know/understand) and Tillicum (meaning friend/kin). To me Likum is a statement of my commitment to know and understand Siberian Huskies as a breed, as well as knowing each and every dog in my kennel on a personal level.

Black, white, silver coat bases only
Brown OK for some secondary markings
Agouti OK, no brindle, no merle
All white, black markings OK
Some tan is acceptable
