lol, knowing my luck...who knows? Either way, don't feel obligated to get a puppy :D I'm just as picky about finding that "right" pup to bring into the kennel. I feel like I finally kind of have a real kennel established. My originals are getting old. My new generations are coming out great and accomplishing good things. I'm using more of my own stock and less of outside stock to breed. It's a good feeling :D It seems Farren and Py are sort of the true foundation bitches of the kennel and Wing is a major male in the kennel. Those genes seem to be where my lines connect a lot. *happy dance* OK, truly now, I should go shower, so I can get to work on time in the morning, hehe. Not much of a morning person... I should be up to see puppies though :D

Hey, I recently bred Farren with Talent. The predicts are AWESOME! So excited! I don't tend to breed girls more than once unless there are amazing predicts. These were amazing. I also just maxed Kit and Santiam today :D Now onto Tikaani and Blaze. I ended up with Tikaani from Working. Blaze is the scary one though. 1K TP D: And I thought Santiam was a pill to hand-max...

I'm doing Computer Science. I'm not doing a full course load though, only 2-3 classes a semester. I have issues with pain after being hit by a car a couple of years ago, so any more then that and I may as well be burning my money because I can't concentrate or do all of the work.
Yeah, he was being ridiculous. And what's worse, he teaches the next class as well - which means he wouldn't have let me in it even if I asked (my university allows teachers to let you into classes if they think you know enough from previous classes to succeed).

Ah is it only the 100% white/black fulls that do that? I just picked Kitoko and (of course) none ended up with her white marking, however only one ended up looking like Blaze. Heck, I don't know. *indecision, indecision*. Working just clued me into a litter of hers...I need to stop this dog buying XD

:D I've never done that quite, however, I name my pups before putting them up, so I know they're mine. If I didn't though, I wouldn't put it past myself...I've checked out Champion's dogs from time to time. No one has quite floated my boat yet, but maybe someday...
just threw my first 1K TP litter by the way :) I didn't actually expect it to be 1K. I think I miscalculated (not that it's a bad thing!). Sadly, few came out like the predicts and to boot, only one female. Ah well. I'm a bit undecided as to whether I should keep one or not :/ Blaze would be the only one I'd consider.
bummer we both have ladies :D We need a male with those kinds of markings. I'm glad it's not just me. I was thinking maybe it was just my lines...I liked Reinwen especially because her background is different. I KNOW I can't inbreed with her :D I'll just have to find myself a boy. Problem is, everyone sells glitches and/or brindle/merle huskies. Drives me crazy! Every time I look down the "for sale" list for huskies, the only ones I ever really want are usually yours, lol
sheesh, have you noticed it's really hard to keep the white markings going? Very few predicts keep the white. And I tried helping that by using a wolf on Py, and it did truly little to nothing for the litter. Maybe you have to put 2 with white markings together...

Breeding and Standards In this section, you'll find everything you need to know about ARK's exclusive custom husky lines, including standards for bitches and studs, puppy standards, and even "Special Adoptions", where you can find out what happens when a puppy is produced below ARK standards. 1. All possible bitches and studs must have 100% non-inbred lineage. I pride myself in breeding cleanly and responsibly. 2. Every dog considered must be 100% maxed, regardless of Total Potential. 3. Every dog considered must have perfect personality stats of confident, outgoing, and focused. 4. The following markings are considered flaws and will not be permitted in the line: brindle, dark and light merle, all tan markings, albino eyes, yellow eyes, green eyes, and bi-eyes. Blue eyes are greatly preferred, brown eyes will be accepted. All other markings, in any intensity, are acceptable and will not be penalized unless specified by line standards. 5. All dogs' tails will be long, straight and elegant. Curled tails are considered flaws and will not be permitted. The Onyx Line ARK's Onyx line, founded by the kennel's very first dogs, Saoirse and Strider, produces beautiful pups in all of the recognized black coat possibilities - black, jet black, mostly black, and dilute black. Onyx pups are bred to be great family pets and/or bitches and studs. Their temperament is mild and laid-back, although they are still very active and not for any couch-potato humans. The following list is comprised of two strict guidelines and traits that must be observed, in addition to the All-Kennel Standards, in any bitch or stud considered for breeding in the Onyx Line: 1. All markings and coat colors must either be in black or white (any intensity). Any markings or coats in brown, copper, red, silver, and sable are not acceptable colors. 2. Blue eyes are mandatory. Brown eyes will not be accepted at all in this line. All puppies will be held to the All-Kennel Standards and all Bitch and Stud Standards of their line, listed above. They will also have met the following requirements: Minimum TP requirement: 470.20 Minimum Speed requirement: 6.80 Minimum Drive requirement: 3.50 The Platinum Line ARK's Platinum line, founded by Niamh and Emrys, produces striking pups in all of the recognized grey coat possibilities - grey, silvergrey, and wolf grey. Agouti and white coats with silver undercoats are also produced. Platinum pups are bred to be working dogs in either agility or sledding and/or bitches and studs. Their temperament is a little more explosive and ready to work, so these dogs are more suited to very active, patient owners. The following list is comprised of three strict guidelines and traits that must be observed, in addition to the All-Kennel Standards, in any bitch or stud considered for breeding in the Platinum Line: 1. All marking colors must be in black (any intensity), white (any intensity), brown (very light intensities in wolf greys). Any markings or coats in copper or red are not acceptable colors. 2. Blue eyes are mandatory. Brown eyes will not be accepted at all in this line. 3. Silver coats are mandatory. No other coat color will be accepted, even if not visible. All puppies will be held to the All-Kennel Standards and all Bitch and Stud Standards of their line, listed above. They will also have met the following requirements: Minimum TP requirement: 460.69 Minimum Speed requirement: 19.39 Minimum Drive requirement: 20.91 The Garnet Lines ARK's Garnet lines, founded by the Pyrope subline's Kestrel and Gyrfalcon, and the Hessonite sub-line's SÃabar and Faolan, produce one of the rarest coat catagories in husky pups - sable. More information coming soon! The following list is comprised of four strict guidelines and traits that must be observed, in addition to the All-Kennel Standards, in any bitch or stud considered for breeding in the Garnet Lines: 1. All marking colors must be in black (any intensity), white (any intensity), brown (any intensity) and sable (mandatory heavy intensity). Red and silver coats are not acceptable. 2. All dogs must have at least 90% intensity sable marking. It is preferred that they also have white undersides, a mask, and a medium intensity dorsal. 3. Heavily intense agouti markings, although not penalized in puppies produced, will terminate eligibility of dog for breeding at ARK. 4. A white coat is preferred, but black and copper coats will be acceptable. All puppies will be held to the All-Kennel Standards and all Bitch and Stud Standards of their line, listed above. They will also have met the following requirements: Minimum TP requirement: 400.00 Minimum Speed requirement: TBA Minimum Drive requirement: TBA Special Adoptions Sometimes, nature gives us some anomalies and puppies are produced that do not meet with ARK breed standards. These puppies, although they will never be bitches or studs at ARK, deserve the same happy ending as their up-to-standard brothers and sisters. So, these puppies will be sold at a very low price to deserving new members willing to agree to a no-sell period of three weeks. This ensures a happy home for all puppies and helps a user who may not be able to afford one of our dogs otherwise. Adoption and Sales Information This section includes puppy pricing and the ARK adoption guarantee. All puppies purchased from Anadyr River Kennels will be from, clean (100% non-inbred), custom lines. They will have perfect personalities. Each puppy will be up-to-date on all vaccinations and vet visits at the time of adoption. Your puppy will also come with 100% basic training and a description of their likes and dislikes on their profile. Although Anadyr River Kennels is not responsible for accidental adoptions, we will take back any dog that possesses our dog tag (ARK) with a refund of $1000 per dog.
