What am I doing?
Welcome to Man's Best Friend Kennels!
*General Info*
Man's Best Friend Kennels - or MBFK - is focuses Huskies, with a few other breeds (especially Foundies) sprinkled in.
When dogs complete their Basic Training, "MBF" (Man's Best Friend) is added in front of their name to show that they are an official part of Man's Best Friend Kennels.
This account is mainly for the females in MBFK, my customs, and dogs that are for sale, although I will sometimes have males here for short periods of the sake of managing my dog slots.
*Dogs for Sale*
When I breed, most often I sell the puppies, occasionally keeping my pick from the litter. If, at any time, there is a puppy that has unnatural markings and it's potential owner does not plan on breeding it at any time, I will provide its spay/neutering at no additional cost to the new owner. This will not be available to dogs or puppies with beautiful, natural coats - they are the ones who I wish to encourage breeding with.
I also wish to encourage docking Aussies' tails and cropping Pit Bull and Great Dane's ears. I believe that the AKC standard should be used on Ala as well as in real life. To do my part in this, I will do docking or cropping at no additional cost to the new owner if requested. However, I believe that this decision - on Ala, at least - should be up to the owner, not the breeder, so I don't usually dock or crop puppies before talking to the potential new owner.
All of my puppies will be tagged with MBFK unless specifically requested before the litter if born.
Why do different dogs from the same litter cost different prices? Most of the time, females cost $500 more than males because they can produce offspring. Price differences between littermates can also be due to coat/eye coloring, TP differences, basic training, items added to pups, etc.
In general, I basic train my pups before selling. I do not always do this, however. If there is a puppy for sale that is not basic trained, feel free to ask and I can add an additional $500 to its cost and basic train it for you. (Usually about 5 clicks, so about $100 a click).
Every once in a while I will give backgrounds to my dogs/puppies that are for sale. Sometimes items are added, too... These will be at no additional cost.
I am willing to lease my females even if they are not up for public lease. Please PM me for more information if you're interested in leasing one of my girls.
On my side account, where most of my males are kept, I have stud services available. Visit that profile for more information on that.
MY DOGS:
My pug, Angel, and my Aussie, Jasper. :)
They both compete in AKC Obedience and Rally and UKC Agility, Obedience, and Rally. :)
