About the Trialing/Showing/Breeding Poll

Hi, if this was already mentioned I'm sorry, I tried to look but didn't see anything. Anyway, I do understand in "real life" that elderly dogs would not be bred or shown or trialed. I do agree that the dogs here on ALA should somewhat adhere to dogs in real life. The one suggestion (unless I have it wrong and this was already going to be) are the Customs and Immortalized dogs. Since real life dogs cannot be immortalized, I'm hoping immortalized ALA dogs be treated special as well...IE trialing/showing/breeding past a certain age. Since immortalized ALA dogs are special...and said dogs do not exist in real life, I feel they should be treated special in those departments as well. I hope this will be taken into consideration!! Immortalized dogs of course will never die...therefore I think they should be allowed to show, trial and breed into later years! :)

Oh I'm glad someone made this, absolutely support. I've been worrying about my locketed dogs since the poll went up. And I agree that real life can only apply to a certain extent to the dogs here. We have a magical cookie that makes a dog go into heat, is the age that dog goes into heat really being called into question?<br /> <br /> That said, I would still be okay with it as long as it didn't include immortal/custom dogs. I don't trial or breed my mortal dogs after 120 months anyway. Though if people can manage to breed past that age and still keep them healthy, then more power to them.

Support as well - no mention has been made if this will carry over to the immortal ones - I hope it does not. <br /> <br /> Of course the magical elements, companions and even the price on these pets is far beyond real life so reality is kind of out the door.

Support as well. I like the idea of adhering to real life, but the point of this game is that it is a game. Dogs do not live very long on here, and continually lowering the age, even if to make it realistic, seems unreasonable, especially with customs and immortal dogs.

Definitely support. I think custom/immortal dogs should still be allowed to trial until they're 20.. they're immortal after all.
