New Age System
Started By
If you are like me, and are pretty much hopeless when it comes to figuring out age with the current system, its a struggle.
My suggestion is fixing our current system, so it tells the exact year of the dog(and maybe add the months too?) It would be in the same place, just different and alot more easier to read. It would also make more sense to the younger portion of Ala.
For example:
2 years. 7 months
What do you guys think?
Or, and all the credit goes to Aust, but another option is to have an option of which is displayed.

No support.
The current system is fine right now. Think of the breeding: Your bitch will have her pups at 132.12 months old. The "2 years, 7 months" idea does not include decimals like the other aging system has, and it would be hard to program in on when the mothers should have their puppies.
If Ala has that idea, the whole breeding system will probably have the be revamped, and only one option can be displayed, most likely.

It's pretty easy: 12 months = 1 uear. If a dog is 246 months, just divide 246 by 12 and the dog is 20.5 years old.
