Lower Dog Food Prices
Started By
I'm sure most of us love that the dog food is now unlimited in Gnashers, but with the sudden jump in prices it seems to be very difficult to feed an entire kennel without spending thousands of dollars a day. The prices jumped about 5 times their previous price (which I find were priced well at the time).
I'm suggesting that the prices return to their original pricing before the new feature. If not permanently, temporarily until a final price can be figured out. Right now it's just much too high.

Support. I just now noticed the jump -after- buying a ton of dogfood.. and that my money on hand was going down much, much faster than it should.

If it's not lowered, I'm going to have to sell some of my dogs just to support feeding them. I don't have that many dogs and have infinite food items on two of them.

I am hoping that the natural kibble being so rare is temporary, but I have little hope left these days when it comes to pet sims.

support! while i love that they made the supply unlimited.. i'm not sure why they had to raise the price THAT much! Why not just give us food size options instead? like 10 uses, 20 uses, etc.. maybe this will be something they realize they made an error on sooner than later. thought it definitely does make me think twice about continuing to breed.
Agree. I don't like the increase of the pricing, I'm basically going poor on here with having to buy all my dogs food. XP But it was it was their idea to stop the hoarding of dog food and bring in unlimited food that way others get the chance to get their choice of food they actually want instead of waiting. But I certainly do not like the new food price.

Ras - I was wondering about that too... are only certain foods unlimited? The news said all, but I've only seen Speed Chow, Chicken Kibble, Beef Kibble, and Trash as unlimited.

The prices of food should go down or go to the way they were. Cause now all my money is spent on food.

I agree that the prices should be lowered. So far, I have retired 16 very fine dogs just because of this price hike. Also, whether it is unlimited seems questionable as I have only found 20 bags of natural kibble since the change. With this system, I will be feeding weekly, not daily as it will take that long to find the food.

Support!

Maybe not back to the original prices (though it would be VERY nice), but just lower. I find 36 Ala cash per Chicken Kibble appalling. $8 was much much better.

If not their original price I think it should at least be half since it does cost a fortune if you have a large kennel.
So I support! :)

I agree, I think it would be much better if the food prices came down
