Limiting Donation Setting
Started By
I just found out that we're not getting a paycheck from my mom this week because her car broke down. After I had donated $25 that could have gone to food. I feel like crap because I thought back to all the money I've donated on a whim because I had a double special or I wanted another custom. ;-; I also admit to a weak will and impulse buy habit which adds to my guilt.

I'm suggesting a section on a player's page where they can self-impose a weekly limit to donations. It's intention is in no way to stop donating to the site; its to limit a player's donating when such a player donating might not have enough money to take on daily needs that may arise with out warning (Like my mom's car breaking down) but their desire to help fund Alacrity (And weak will and impulse buying on my part) may over take the unforeseen events that might occur.

agreeing with kittybot<br>It also won't stop the regret. If you allow 30$ a week using this lil limiter thing, and then your dog[real, live dog] gets sick, you're gonna say "oh man, I just spent $30 on Ala :("<br /> <br /> EDIT: Edited to clarify a living dog and not an Ala dog lol

Do not support. I don't think it's fair to expect Robyn to take the extra time to code a function that is just as easily fulfilled by user willpower. If you shouldn't donate, don't.

x-x I like that idea, Alex; but I'd be horrified to see how much I've donated over all. It was over $500 last I calculated... I haven't calculated in over 2 months

Support, sometimes I wonder how much I've donated this month and worry if I've donated over my limit, maybe on the page it can tell how much you've donated that week, month, year and overall?
