I say that the best way to deal with the mutt issue is to standerdize dog breeds into a few key types "sheepherders" "hounds" basically whats used to classify them anyway. a toy breed type bred to a terrier type would produce a single image even if its a chihuaha and a silky terrier or a shih tzu and a bedlington. (not breeds currently on alacrity but it would eliminate the need to create new mutt images in the future as long as they choose the standardizations for each type, maybe even simplify them a lot by being more general and inclusive, to reduce the strain on the artists.)<br /> As of now i believe they plan to release mutts as a single image. they cannot be trialed but they can do beauty contests and they gain a boost to tp gain and can breed with a purebred to produce pure pups. ( i cant remember where i read this, sorry =/) i think i just googled alacrity wiki

Texas, the mix breed idea has been brought up a lot of times already so it's kinda up in the air. They aren't sure if mutts are going to be added or not do to all the art for all the mixed breeds that could possibly be imagine. Say GSD/corgi mix, Pap/husky mix, Pittie/BC mix so on and so on. Also, all the items needing to fit and redone to fix all the mutts too. It's best not to get your hopes up too high but it was a great suggestion :3

No support. x-x With each mix or trait there'd have to be new sets of lines, new sets of markings, new sets of breed-compatible items, yadayadayada~<br /> Just sounds too difficult for the coders and artists. :/ I heard there might be a "mutt" but it would look the same no matter what two breeds you mix - but I dunno anything else 'bout that. Just something I heard a while back. -shrug-

They are already working on this- coding will be difficult, so there is a good chance it won't happen.
