Critical Health Warnings
Started By
I wasn't sure if this was where I should post this, correct me if I'm wrong ^^
Okay, first of all, yes I'm aware this system was just "fixed." But honestly, I think it screwed it up worse.
Daily I get at least 2 critical health warnings, usually from the same dog. I go to look at the dog, it has 80 health. Okaaaaay.
But today is where I drew the line. I came on after being out for a couple hours, and I ended up with 15, yes, I counted, 15 critical health warnings, most from the same dog.
I really think the system needs to be looked at more carefully, because 20 health really isn't working for me. Plus, whenever a dog gives birth it goes off. I think it should be 15 health that sets it off. I think that was the old system, but I really think this needs to be tweaked somehow.
Sorry, that was more of a rant than a suggestion. I can move it if needed.

Ooo, that's a good idea. The option to turn off warnings.

I agree with this.
Maybe 1 health warning per dog per day. That or disable the health warnings. :x

I understand Larth, but whenever I go to check on the dog, by the time I get there it's fine. I get spammed with warnings while I'm offline and by the time I'm back the dog is at 80 health :/

The system currently sends a warning every 30 minute rollover after a dog goes into critical health (since it's possible for health drops mid-day and later in the day, if a dog gave birth it has the possibility of dying at midnight, so it's to give the user warning to fix the problem!). If it's set any lower, dogs die instantly without any critical health warnings. The easiest solution is to spend time to actually get the dogs' health up above critical using the items available (grooming, food, vaccinations if possible).

I just wish the warnings would come when the dog is actually in danger of dying. People may disagree with me, but if I get a health warning, I'd rather have a dog about to die than a dog who's perfectly fine

The system gets confused with health losing and gaining and sends like 100 messages or something. But yeah, it's annoying x.x

I got over 60 in one day about the same dog. Why can't it send only 1 message per dog instead of repeating it over and over and over?

I don't want it to warn at a less health like 15 because when it was like that before, dogs were dying when I didn't even receive a warning

Is it a glitch? I thought the system was set to go off at 20 health. I've just been assuming my dogs have gotten down to 20 then regained it...but I guess that does sound pretty stupid when I say it...

Shouldn't this be in the Bug Issue Hub?
