Australian Outback Monthly Shop Theme:

I think Australian Outback Theme on Alacrity would be good because not only could we have Kangaroo's and Wombats but we could have endangered species too. We could also have a donation option for when you buy an Endangered specie companion 1 bone gets donated to FAME ((Foundations For Australia's Most Endangered Species))

Endangered in New South Wales as of foxes and cats hunting them

Leadbeater's Possum

Endangered in Victoria as of habitat loss

Bilby

Endangered in Queensland as of food competition with rabbits and killed off by foxes and wild cats

Bandicoot

Endangered in Western Australia as of habitat destruction and rabbit invasion

Tasmanian Devil

Endangered in Tasmania as of infection from bites

Dugong

Endangered in Queensland and New South Wales Waters as of being caught in nets and hunted for their meat and oil

Invented by Aborigines this is a spear used for hunting and killing wild animals

Located in Western Australia endangered from Unknown at the moment

Clay - That one is just Australian, this one is for a cause. It is to help native animals that are endangered in Australia.

I like the idea. I hope you don't mind my few points :-) If it does go a head I feel the name Uluru (Ayers Rock) should be used. I live in a farming part of the Au and I don't here anyone use the old name for Uluru any more. It would also show respect for the Indigenous owners of Uluru too. Don't forget other endangered Aussie animals, such as the Leadbeater's Possum, Spot-tailed Quoll, or the Critically endangered, Golden sun moth, Orange-bellied Parrot, Gilbert's Potoroo or the Southern Bent-wing Bat. The list could go on and on :-( The major threat to the Tassie Devil, now is a viral cancer that is spread by bites and they are very keen on bitting every thing :-) A Woomera is a Spear throwing device/multi tool, I wouldn't call it a spear as such, it is more an extension of the arm to give more thrust to the spear when thrown. And I would be dead against the Cane beetle being included in any form!! as it led to one of the biggest Environmental disasters Australia has ever faced and is still facing, the release of the Cane Toad.
