I think when dogs go to the pound, they should be basic trained if not already. Probably 40% of the reason some dogs don't get bought from there is they are not basic trained, and newbies may not know how to do that that well yet and don't want to worry about it. They just want to have some nice dogs that will help them start their awesome journey on Ala.

Part of the point of this site is to keep it realistic - dogs in the pound in real life aren't basic trained. If anything, they forget half of their basic training if they were basic trained before they got there :/
