Economy fix
Started By
I think the problem with the economy is that there are too many dogs flooding the market.
It would probably be better to slow down how fast dogs age, rather than implement an artificial process of puppy limiting.
If dogs aged 2 or 3 times slower, they would reach breeding age slower, and go into heat once every 2-3 weeks, rather than once a week. this would reduce the number of pups on the market a significant amount.
Are you for or against this? And why? Can you think of something to add to improve this idea?
Edit: If your not for slower aging, then how about just spreading out the heat cycles further?

Against.<br /><br />No matter if you slow the age, make heat less often.<br /><br />We have a heat cookie, there are timewatches. It would be ineffective.

Against, dogs age slow as is :(<br />If dogs age slower, they're in heat longer too and I think that would encourage breeding.

Yeah, Rob's got a point. This also means they have the -exact- same amount of breeding opportunities throughout their life. It just takes a longer amount of time to happen.

Against, because slowing them down means they're on the market longer.
