Just some Suggestions XD

Okay, so when I started here {I believe Robyn was still around?} I got the tag on how the game worked. Cool. I read it {more than once XD} but I didn't get it. Then I followed what it said and adopted from the pound. But, I wasn't truly happy with what I had. So I used my starting money to buy a pup from someone else. But I didn't get the purpose of this game. So I left. For some time, and then I came back. Then I started getting interested in coats. Eventually led me to breeding, then a player here gifted me a capped maxed dog. So that got me to start trailing then i want to add some color to my trailing team so I added that too. Anyways my suggestion is below. {sorry for trailing off.}
For new players
- Perhaps start them with a dog from their choice {them having to pay a fee or something like that, to make it fair}, that would lower their new starting pack money. Maybe to 5-6k instead of 15k?
- Let them have food with their new account {not a lot, maybe 20 cans of random dog food?}
- Add a chat or a button to speak directly to a newbie helper. {That will clear questions quicker and get them motivated.}
For the rest of the players here
- Adding personalities {or different traits} to dogs. Maybe you got a capped dog, and he/she is great and all, but they are distracted since birth? Perhaps adding an item {or companion: which there is some} to make them focus.
- Luck percentage. Hey not everyone is lucky, even if you have a capped maxed dog. Perhaps make a trigger to change everyone's Luck every few hours? With that, giving the lower dogs a chance to win :)
- Reality brought here. We already have accidents occurring to our pets when we are gone, why not disable pregnant females to not being able to participate. Or perhaps your dog isn't feeling it today? Get a notification saying ""your dog's name" won't be able to participate on trials anymore, do to the fact that they are old. Perhaps your old champ can now relax and enjoy the rest of his days?" {if they aren't immortal}
-Bringing a rare shop once a month. Holding it here for 2 weeks. {can be changed} Offering rare old items. Holding around 10-20 copies only. And available only for bones. That would encourage players to donate more often.
- Dogs dying at a certain age. Like perhaps they all die at 140 months or something? With that a message or notif saying " "your dog's name" is getting old. You might want to.. ya know give them the attention they need?" Or something similar.
Those are only so far some of my suggestions. I'll probably think of some more later XD

Perhaps. Just a suggestion lol :) If it's in game then I suppose they could ignore it :)

The older the dog gets, the harder is it to keep their health up. I currently have a dog that is 225 months old that I have just started receiving critical health warnings for which means it is going to die soon. In a way, this idea is already in play

On the dying part I meant them to die at a certain age. Not random ages. Like "this pet died at 192 months" and the other one says "this dog died at 200 months." I just think it would be more suitable for them to die at a certain age.

I am responding to this one suggestion at a time

For the new players starting out with a dog, maybe they could select a foundation level dog of any breed (instead of the ones currently for auction) as part of the starter pack. Dogs can be expensive and there are some rip offs. Maybe this dog could come maxed too so if a user were to start breeding, they would breed responsibly. But the TP wouldn't be high, just foundation with is 100-200 TP. A solid start.

Free food? Why not.

For the newbie chat, that is what the hub is for.

I think the personalities is a good idea to help revamp the trial system. Instead of breeding for only TP, you have other things to breed for. Like a dog that is focused with 400 TP is more likely to win than a dog with 800 TP that is unfocused. Perhaps that luck thing can play into this too.

Players are unable to enter their dogs into trials once they hit 192 months, so a notification really isn't necessary.

Sometimes, at least in the past, rare items have been offered for a limited time! I know I donated quite a bit when I knew I could stock up on a certain companion. I think once a month would be too often, but maybe bi-annual or something. One during the Holidays might be good because people are in a money-spending mood.

I think how dogs are dying right now is fine. By making it health related instead of age, players that want to keep their dogs for as long as possible can with certain foods and companions. If the health portion goes away, the market for health companions would disappear.
