Into the Darkness: Onward Journey

Several years have passed since the war started. Now the end has come for the Sacrean home world, Rigngard. A new world beyond the distant stars was chosen. A new home called Aliquam. With the Onward Journey constructed and crewed, the journey begins to a place beyond light's reach. The few military and civilian survivors are all that is left of the Sacrean people.

Any type and amount of character is allowed. Keep it reasonable.
Keep posts no more than PG-13 and only three pages of posts while I'm offline.
The Onward Journey makes stops here and there. At these time can new characters allowed to come in unless a part of the original crew(included in "other".)

The comms buzzed again, "Procidissent ship? And one with cannons?" "This is a new design. Fresh off production," Oumancio said in reply.

Put me on fleet comms," Oumancio said and waited for fleet comms to become active. "This is the Procidissent ship, Onward Journey. Avanchnzel, do not fire. We have thousands aboard."

The ship came close enough to the Journey for large lettering to be seen. The word was "Avanchnzel." "Sir, we're being hailed," the lieutenant said. "By the ship?" "I think so, sir."

It came back again. This time on a final run. The ship released a large burst of energy that caused the Malum flee to slow greatly. It fired dozens of nukes into the fleet, which was down to two capitalships and four frigates. As the nukes detonated, consuming what was left of the fleet, the ship turned towards the Journey. But this was not a combat run. It was moving considerably slower compared to the speed it moved during the battle.

"They've gone to hit-and-run tactics, Sir." The ship came back of another run. This time from a different spot.

"We don't have that kind of power," Oumancio said. The ship finally lost its shields and began to move from the center of the fight to the outer areas. With the Malum fleet in pursuit of the fleeing ship, it jumped. The fleet began to turn around to charge the Journey. Just as they were facing the Journey, the other ship dropped out of FTL, passed the Malum fleet firing nuclear missiles at them, and jumped back out before the fleet could react. The nukes, which were equipped with the same technology as the missiles that bypassed the shields, phased through the shields and into the lead capitalship. The only four nukes fired detonated and annihilated the ship entirely.

(There's two more planets after this battle, then an extremely long jump to an adjacent galaxy.) The Malum ships did little to the new ship. It was in the middle of their fleet now. A blueish-white orb began to form on the upper-fore section which burst as a pulse of energy. Each ship that was hit by this pulse lost their shields. The ship charged another orb in the same area but this one exploded into a massive beam that tore through the blackness into the bow of a Malum capitalship. Already heavily damaged, the hull gave way to the beam which cut through the ship like a hot knife through butter. This ship detonated as well. With no shields to contain the blast, the flames consumed nearby ships. They too without shield merely melted away into golden rain that fell sideways.

A ship dropped out of FTL. It looked very similar to how the Journey drops out. As soon as it was out of the FTL gravitation, it began to charge the fleet firing every weapon it had. Tens of thousands of missiles darted towards the Malum ships. Thousands impacted the shields. Thousands disappeared an reappeared behind their shields, impacting the hull and the interior of the ships. The Malum shifted their fire to the new, more powerful threat. It wasn't long before one of the capitalships began to break apart before a super-nuclear detonation consumed the entire ship.
