The vets poke at his wounds, while Chop flinches at their hands. <br /> Chop feels the comforting hand of his owner rest on his head "stay calm, boy, everything is going to be fine"<br /> Chop whines as they inject him with sedatives. Soon the room darkens as he goes into a sleep.<br /> <br /> Daryll stares at Chop as he is taken away, to get x-Ray's and stitches. Once they were out of site, he Lead Harley away to the waiting room.<br /> "I've not had time to thank you, girl" "I can assure you, if you hadn't got him to me and warned me, he wouldn't have even had a chance"...<br />

Harley doesn't bother arguing with the collar, but as she sees them put a muzzle on her friend, her teeth start to bare and she starts to growl, but quickly stops herself and whimpers, remembering how painful and unforgiving they can be.

"Yes, Harley. But he is mines to teach"<br /> Chop just lies there, anger and betrayal flashing in his eyes now and then.<br /> <br /> <br /> Daryll turned around, seeing the state of his poor dog. "We are here" Daryll clips chop's spare leash and collar on Harley "sorry girl, you must be on a leash in here" and they walk into the surgery, where chop is rushed to the emergency room.<br /> They immediately put Chop on a fluid tube (idk) and they slip a muzzle over his snout "come on, is that really needed? Look at the condition he is in!" Daryll exclaimed.<br /> "He's scared and in pain, we can't risk it" the vet said. <br />

Harley jumped up into the seat of the chair, barking lightly at Daryll, she laid down, head in her paws.<br /> <br /> "I swear, if you die. I practically just met you a bit ago." she said sarcastically, though her voice sounded more sympathetic than anything.<br /> <br /> "Never letting you near a shepherd again."

Mishka followed and seen Chop laying on the couch.<br /> "Oh Chop... What a mess you've got yourself into" she nuzzled him and he whined softly "Mishka... Where... Where's Diego?"<br /> "Shush... Diego is fine... Daryll is on the phone the now... He's getting the vet" <br /> "Where is Harley?"<br /> "She's here, just rest, don't waste your energy.. Diego and I need you"<br /> Chop says no more apart from asking Mishka to go care for Diego, make sure he doesn't know, That Harley will let her know if anything happens.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Daryll bursts in the room just as Mishka leaves and Gently lifts Chop. "Okay, boy, the vet has you an emergency appointment, just stay with us, okay?"<br /> He carries chop into the car and lays him gently on the back seat.<br /> Daryll spots Harley and pats the seat on the car.<br /> "Coming, girl?"

"Chop is going to the vet. He's close to dead, Mishka. I don't know how this happened, I don't know who did this, but you have to listen to me. He needs all the help he can get and you're his best support."

Harley barked at Daryll, but wandered off to find Mishka. <br /> <br /> "I'm sorry to ask, but can I possibly talk to you.... Away from your son?" She asked, giving Mishka the If-we-don't-talk-you're-gonna-regret-it look

Daryll stares<br /> "Harley, what's wrong?"<br /> He followed her and seen Chop.<br /> Daryll fell to his knees and cradled Chop in his arms.<br /> <br /> Chop looks up at Daryll and gives a Yelp, then weakly turns his head to look at Harley "thank you".<br /> <br /> Daryll carries Chop to the couch and lays him there. "Im going to call the vet, Buddy" <br /> "Stay here, girl" Daryll says to Harley. <br />

Chop lay on the floor, grateful that Harley has went to all that trouble to save him. Half of him was terrified of what the vet will do to him, the other relieved at no matter how much pain they put him through, he'll still be here to see his son grow up.<br /> <br /> Daryll was getting ready for bed, when an American bully crashed though his door, "Harley?" "What on earth are you doing here!?"

harley smiled and walked bag to the doberman's house, supporting chop's weight there.<br /> <br /> As they approached the door, Harley barked loudly, and eventually pushed her way in. She made sure to leave Chop in a safe room that Diego couldn't get to, and ran off to find his owner.
