Into the Darkness: Onward Journey

Several years have passed since the war started. Now the end has come for the Sacrean home world, Rigngard. A new world beyond the distant stars was chosen. A new home called Aliquam. With the Onward Journey constructed and crewed, the journey begins to a place beyond light's reach. The few military and civilian survivors are all that is left of the Sacrean people.

Any type and amount of character is allowed. Keep it reasonable.
Keep posts no more than PG-13 and only three pages of posts while I'm offline.
The Onward Journey makes stops here and there. At these time can new characters allowed to come in unless a part of the original crew(included in "other".)

Kuta's ear flicked at a noise. "Shh." She listened very closely.

"Kuta, aren't you a little too tense?" the soldier broke the silence. She looked down a little. "Possibly." She let the smg hang from her shoulder on its strap.

Sneak ran back to her group. "We should get moving." she squeaked. The other woke up slowly. "Honestly Sneak we've been moving all day." Taylor yawned.

She was carrying her sub-machine gun in her hands, keeping a close eye on her surroundings as she moved.

Kuta and the soldier with her walked in the direction of the nearby mountain.

Sneak decided she wanted to look around. She scuried on the forest floor.

The dropship, after a long flight, landed in a small clearing in the local forest. The ramp in the rear lowered allowing its occupants to exit. "Spread out. Five teams of two," Kuta ordered.

--Chapter One: First in Darkness-- The Onward Journey dropped out of FTL in orbit of a terrain planet to allow the drive to cool down. "Sir, there's still no sign of the Rushed Adventure," one of the bridge crew said. "Then it truly didn't make it," Oumancio sadly replied. "Anything on the planet here?" "Hard to tell from initial scans. Fifty percent land mass, dozens of lakes, and several mountain ranges. No signs of advanced technology," replied another. "Send a team down. See what we can find."
