You are a stray hungry,tired,and looking for a friend. You smell another cat. Mewo. You follow the cat as it told you. As you come out of the bush you see four cats. A female calico, a white male cat, a very old orange female cat, and last but not least and a very small sickly black male kitten. "You can stay with us." said the orange female. You look around. will you stay or go off and die. It's your life.

Dota's fur was ruffled as he dreamed. Thalia purred. She looked up. Huge, black storm clouds were rolling in. She curled around Dota. "You'll be okay... You'll be okay, Dota." she whispered.

Thalia lay in front of Dota to protect him from the wind. "Stupid storms.." she muttered. Dotta coughed once, then twice. Thalia gently rubbed her paws over the kittens chest, and the coughing subsided. "I really hope you get better, Dota." she murmured sadly.

Smiling, Thalia trotted down to the dens, found the one with Dota in it, and stepped carefully inside, as to not wake the sleeping kitten. "I wont let anything happen to you, Dota." she whispered the promise, so she wasn't too loud.

Mai: Well my job is take care of Dota and Hunt so Salt Skin will do it. Well down the hill where Mai just ran to are the dens about a mile from her is the lake. And about 5 minutes from here is the hunting ground. And me and mother sleep in this den.

Thalia looked around at the cats, and realized that they were a family. She nodded and smiled at each of them. When her eyes rested on a small black kitten named Dota, she felt so sorry for the poor thing she nearly wailed aloud. "Hello there Dota." she mewed, and nuzzled him.
