Feeling the Wind Ripple Through Your Mane
Started By
Plot: This is a herd of Wild Mustangs. We are next on BLM's list to be round up, but think small cramp corrals Yuck >< We want to be free, and be able to feel the wind ripple through your mane. It is also about these horses' daily struggle to survive. Good Luck! Sorta what the meadow looks like Name: Gender: (Also we need a stallion who is the leader) Age: (Remember be reasonable not 25ish xD) Colors: Eye Color: Any other things: Personality (put a word or two) Name: Running Brook aka Brook Gender: Mare Age: 6 years Colors: grullo dun An example^^ Eye Color: Brown Any other things: Had a foal but the foal got rounded up XC Personality: Feisty, out going I grazed looking out over the terrain it was mostly grass but it was specked with bushes and trees. I loved it here I couldn't think what it would be like to have it all taken away from me. I tried pushing those thoughts out of my mind and continued grazing.

I stopped and scratched my head on a tree loosening the bridle, soon I was able to shake it off.

Brook galloped away and soon I followed suit. The cowboys had no chance getting us back. But now Brook and I were stuck with them horrible bridles on.

I hobbled up to my feet and looked around wearily, I saw the other horses fleeing so I nudged Phoenix and galloped following the other horses.

I looked around trying to find something to get the ropes of of her.The the boy Austin appeared with the other cowboy he came and took a knife out an cut the ropes around Brook's legs.

12-11-2010 at 9:18 AM
I tried to get up but the rope was still tangled around my legs.

12-11-2010 at 9:17 AM
I saw Brook down with dogs on her.I charged knocking the dogs aside and trying to get Brook back on her feet.

12-11-2010 at 9:11 AM
I felt a rope go around my back legs and the cowboys tugged. I slammed onto the ground and as I tried to get up the cowboys dog piled on me weighing me down.

She distracted the cowboys as I went around unlatching stall doors. When the cowboys noticed it was to late half the barn was running out.I found the cowboy with Storm's stall key I kicked his head and he went out cold.I grabed the key in my teeth and put it in the lock and turned.Soon every horse were out and running to freedom.

Sure! ^^ I galloped to the barn and pranced around to distract the men. Go get them out now!

I'm including all the horses in the escape they all need out not just the rest of the herd.So shall we before they want to get on us again?

12-11-2010 at 8:54 AM
It's very risky and a horse could get hurt or even killed... Well we also have to save Dappled Waves.

"I'm working on a plan." I said in truth I had no idea what to do.Then an idea hit me.The only ones locked up were Storm and used to be me.<br />"There are latches on each of the door.Latches we could easily open then I could go in and knock out the cowboy with the key to Storm's stall and then try to unlock his stall the....We're home free!"I said to her.

12-11-2010 at 8:01 AM
But what about the rest of the herd that is still at the stable?

12-11-2010 at 8:00 AM
Brook came and we concocted a plan to get out.She hadn't been tied down so she came over and tugged me free.I saw the herd that Brook spotted in the distance able to run free with no worry about being captured.<br />"Come on.Let's get outta here."I whispered to her.

Soon my owner arrived, got off and sat down but he didn't tie me up. I guess he trusted me from how I behaved earlier. I tugged at Phoenix's lead and finally it came loose. The men laughed as I pulled Phoenix around acting like a foal. I saw a herd in the distance my heart aced to join them I watched them run, free.

My "owner" came and put my bridle on and soon we were out of the stable we were going to go out to the meadow! I hoped that Phoenix and her cowboy were going to the meadow too, if see was then those cowboys better watch-out because they would get the ride of their life >8D

I listened to Brook's advice but doubted I'd ever be able to do it.The boy came back with the bridle 15 minutes later. The first couple times I whinnied and backed up but after a few minutes he finally got it on my head.It annoyed my mouth but I dealt with it.He smiled. He walked around to the side and hoisted himself onto my back.I whinnied and reared a little but calmed down.He opened my stall.I ran out once it was I thought about leaving now but I couldn't not without my herd or any other made to suffer in those stalls. He rode me out to the meadow. He got off and patted my neck and tied the reins to a nearby tree.He sat down next to me.
