Business Casual!

So, I need opinions. This weekend, I'm heading up to my manfriend/chew toy/cuddle pillow's university to watch him compete in his Mock Trial tournament. I am not participating in any way. This is being done at their law school, not in an actual courthouse, and he suggested as far as spectator dress code goes, that I dress business casual. Of course, I have never watched a mock trial competition before, only competed. I was in a suit and really don't know where to draw the line on toning it down.
I'll be wearing the following jacket, shell and shoes.
I was considering purchasing this skirt to go with it.
I'm running out of options, I can't order something online, and our local mall doesn't have much in the way of a store that caters to business affairs. It's a "mini skirt", but would come down to mid-thigh at least. I don't think I'll find much longer. I'm 5'8 but wear a size 00/0, so most things are quite short on me anyway. I don't want to make him look like crap, obviously. Do you guys think I'll be okay?
