Real Life Drama :/
Started By
So since I've just started middle school, the drama has already started. I need some advice. Here are a few problems I've been having:

1) My former best friend's Madi and Angie, now all of a sudden hate me. I dont know why, since everyone I ask either wont tell me or dont know. But I know that it started soon after this:

I told Madi I dont believe in God. They rest of the days she went on about "Why dont you believe in Him?" and "My mom probably wont let me hang out with you anymore if she finds out..." Knowing her, she told Angie, too.

I told her who my crush is, and roumer says that Madi likes him too. I think maybe she's mad at me for liking him.

People joke around about things I'm going to do when I'm older. Bad things, if you know what I mean. Maybe they both believe I'll actually do them, and therefore avoid me.

2) I really like this guy who I've know for a few years, and we've never really gotten along. We kind of have that love-hate relationship that most elementary boys and girls would have with each other. But now all of a sudden I really like him, but I'm pretty sure he hates me. And now I've heard that he likes this other girl, who one of his best friends, Nick, are dating. My other friend, Aubrianna really likes Nick, so if Nick dumps his gf, Mya, then I wont get my crush but if Nick stays with Mya then I might get the guy I like but Aubrianna wont get Nick... what should we do?

1) If they're really that fickle with being your friend, you're probably better off without them. Real friends stick it out and ignore silly little rumors or get clarification about them. If they're not going to associate with you anymore, treat them like strangers and go find someone who will be friends with the REAL you, not what they think you are/should be.

2)Just act normal and wait it out. You probably have until...late high school, at the earliest, before you will be mature enough to handle any serious relationships. If you two are the right fit for your crushes and said crushes are the right guys for you, you'll probably get hooked up eventually. Sorry if you don't like this, but you all are still kids. Don't make a big deal out of crushes and dating yet. Once you've matured into a young adult, you'll probably think your early middle school self was so silly for thinking such things. I say wait at least until late high school before you make any serious attempts at dating because at least you'll be a young adult and thus better understand adult stuff like dating. I'm in my freshman year of university and I still haven't dated. And I'm glad it's this way because I've spared myself all the heatbreak most of my friends got from relationships in middle school and early high school. Am I considering serious dating now? Yes. Am I trying to go for my crush? No, because I don't know if we're a good fit for each other. If we're meant to be, he will have feelings for me, too, and he will make his feelings at least a little clear to me.
