Ethical to breed for looks/beauty rather than TP?

I'm new to the site, and I want to get peoples' opinions.
As lovely as TP is, I would almost rather breed for the look of the pups. If I were to do this (obviously no inbreeding) would it be, in your mind, ethical?
I'm just curious for peoples' opinions. I want to know before I start looking for a breeding pair.
(Also, if this is in the wrong forum, forgive my ignorance and please direct me to the correct forum - thank you!)

I think it depends on your goals in the game. :) I don't recommend breeding just for the sake of breeding, but if your goal is to create a certain, gorgeous look without customs, or carry a marking on through a line, then sure, I think ignoring TP is fine. The Pup Predictor will be your best friend if you're going for looks.

Personally, I also try to do both. My goal in the game is to see how high I can get my Sheltie line's TP before it's too much for me to manage. And while avoiding linebreeding. When I acquire new dogs to add to my line, I only look at TP like Riptide. However, after maxing those new dogs, I breed based on looks. I use the Pup Predictor to see which pairs have the best looking pups. If a pair just doesn't have any pretty pups, I just sigh and say I'll be sure its grandpups are cute.

Either way I think it's okay... I think most people like Tiger try for both, and for me personally, I just breed for TP. I love the colorful, gorgeous dogs but I always choose studs for my females based on their TP, I don't even look at the color. And if color comes out nice, then that's an added bonus.

Personaly it's a game, you can do whatever you please. Weither they will sell or not is another matter.

I personally breed for both. But when it comes down to picking which pup to keep out of each litter i look at looks before TP. I just make sure and max all dogs before breeding so that TP goes up.
