breeding (real life)
Started By
So my parents were breeders, and now that i am able i have decided to do the same. However i only have one good female at the moment and my old female so i dont want to own a male at this time (since the old dog isnt fixed) but would like to start my own. I have been searching and searching for just the right male to breed my first litter (just a stud male). Any ideas on what more i can do or where to look?

If you still need the advice... Firstly, make sure you are ready to deal with puppies, financially and time wise. Puppies tend to run high on the vet bills for necessary shots and expensive puppy food when the time comes, and not to mention the multitude of house cleaning products. XD you also have to consider if your female will be a good mum. Some, on their first litters mostly, do not know what to do or how to deal with this new little bundle of fur. And reject them. Are you ready to deal with that? If you think you can than I suggest looking for breeders in your area. Many do offer stud services. If you happen to come short with that than make ads or calls around (specially to breeders. Chances are, they know someone that studs out their dogs) if you still come short than go ahead and buy a male. Some potential adoptees even prefer it that way. Good luck!
