The Experiment of a new experience.
Started By
A debate has been circulating around Alacrity about how easy it is for new players to put their foot in the game and get a decent income to motivate them to keep playing. I've decided to put my head in the mindset of a newbie helper and have decided to have a go at playing the game as someone who has just joined (so, ignoring all of my perks, upgrades etc.) I also think this'll be helpful in my job as an NH, as it was a long time ago that I was new to the site.
Please note, this probably won't be the most accurate of experiments as there are certain aspects I need to take into account, that this is an upgraded account and that I also have a knowledge and system in which I play the game.
- Please do not send me anything, I am going to be playing the game as someone who is completely new but also someone that say, is shy and unknown of?
- If you decided to follow along with this, please only post useful information that I do not already have up. I don't want this thread becoming ohsospammy, and the goal of this is to discover what hardships new people face and if they are fair or not.
I will not be putting up every single detail since that's way too much to put up. However, I will probably be updating a Google doc which I'll make for public viewing. You can find it Here
Google documents are easier to edit, and you won't have super long threads so you can comment to your hearts content.

Ok, so i've made it into a document instead. I've kept in mind the amount I earn each day from gaming and such, but also what goes out too. I usually write a paragraph about the events of the day, etc and yeah.

Does the doc look neat?

Ok, tonight I am planning to reorganise the thread into something much neater than what it currently is.

Note to self: 27th
- dog now basic trained (+ 1.40 in weave pole)
- plays all games except mahjong, riddle, frisbee and lottery
profit: 4287
- put in bank.

Jack: So to double everything on my main to be my side as well as my main, and any TS I don't use, sell them.

I'll also have to talk to the pound project and possibly persuade them to lend/give me a dog. I'll update this all tomorrow since it's late here, but thank you for helping ^^;

And ZJ, I will c:

Vision: If you find something I don't, then sure, post it here. It helps us get an idea of what's going on ^-^;

A few things that might be worth doing:

Selling out of kennel training sessions instead of using them to begin with. Average price $100 per session but can go up to $150 depending on who is buying

Buying more slots for cash to repeat above

Buy maximum kennel capacity of frisbee eligible dogs

Adopt a high TP dog from Pound Project to trial

Would be worth doubling each day's profit (games, basic $100 allowance, training session sales while factoring costs for extra account if adding imaginary slots on it) by x2 to factor in an existence of main and side account.

A lot of the project could potentially depend on personal spending. I think for the sake of accuracy, it may be worth tallying up profits versus necessities such as food, vaccinations, and other essentials rather than decorations. ^^ What do you think?

Game payout should be the same for upgraded and non-upgraded users. :)

Awesome idea! I have decided to use my side to do this, bought a BC puppy this morning. Should I share my log here as well?
