Line breeding?

So I've heard a whole bunch of people say "linebreeding" but I never figured out what it was. Anyone know?

Line breeding is like this:

Male 1 Female one have a pup, you breed that pup for a generation..than breed resulting pup with its grandfather....what Linde described is INbreeding...

This is what linebreeding is to me, I'm not 100% sure so I could be wrong.
For example:
Male is bred to female 1. The same male is then bred to a female of the previous litter with female 1.
The same dog would then be bred with a female from the litter with female 2 and so on and so forth, so that the good genes which the male carried is constantly bred into the offspring.
