My wolfdog, Motyka!
Started By
Hey, guys! I'm making this thread to shamelessly show off my best friend - my wolfdog!
His name is Motyka, and he is 70-80% Vancouver Island wolf; the rest is husky. He is a sweetheart most of the time, but can be a pain in the neck as well.
Before even considering getting a wolfdog, I recommend that you read this thread, as well as do countless hours of research. They are nothing like normal dogs!!
That said, have some photos of my boy! ;) The awkward looking human being accompanying him in some of these photos is me.
Relaxing on the grass after a hard day of field obedience!
Down the slide he goes!
Boooing!
Getting tired!
Having a little break with a favorite toy.
Sitting. Lookin' cute.

Aww, I as well had a wolfdog! Although she was black and feral at first :x She had a multitude of health issues due to inbreeding, does yours have any?

Also, mine lived in the wild for her first 5 mts so her thinking was all out of instinct and fear. She had no human contact so she was extremely fearful. Where was yours? How does he react... out of instinct or training?

This makes me miss my old wolfdog, Kiba. He was white like that, too, but with yellow eyes. ;o;

I usually get "he looks like a wolf!!" or "is that a wolf?" xD

I also get people wanting pictures of him and tons of people saying he's beautiful. He has a fanclub. c.c
