Actually, if you do your research the evolution theory does not make any sense, because though they say things evolved from different things they have yet to actually discover the ‘link’, meaning the bones of the something that was in the middle of evolving. Also, carbon dating is only reliable for specimens which only date back a few thousand years, how can someone say it is millions of years old if any results beyond that few thousand years is a highly problematic? As for the “Why is their starving children in Africa if there is a God” question, that’s simple. When sin entered the world it brought with it all these problems from disease to hunger to murder and so on. God didn’t make robots; he made us with free will, which is why we are here today. God knows what he’s doing, and we cannot comprehend it no matter how hard we think. It would be like an ant trying to understand a human; we don’t have the capacity to comprehend it. We just have to trust. Also, what do Christians have to lose? If what evolution says is true (Which it’s not, but for argument sake ;) ) then it’s not like we get punished for believing in Christ. However, when Jesus comes back those who do not believe will very much regret it in the end. There is more proof that Jesus walked the earth than there is George Washington was the first American president, that’s not false statistics either. =) <br />

This is not a lack of understanding nor ability to understand on my part. You've not presented a coherent, rational argument at all. What you <i>did</i> post was countered, and then you just repeated the same thing over and over. <br /><br />If that's me not understanding "what's right in front of me," then...all right. But I feel that you've been answered thoroughly by multiple people, and you have failed to present any other cogent points for debate. If there's nothing available to which I can reply, how am I supposed to make a reasonable, rational counter?

Except that hypotheses have not been tested. Evolutionary theory has. I don't see how that connects.

The burden of proof to show there is a higher power lies with those making the claim; there is no way to prove a negative, so "disproving" any god's existence is impossible.<br /><br />Assuming there is no god makes far more logical sense than assuming there is.

ok do you even read what i write, there not even sure on there educated guess. they have no clue. go back and read the sorces please, just because you dont believe in a higher power does not meen that everyone who does is wrong. if science cant prove it, if they have no idea, i believe there must be something out there that knows whats going on with the bigger picture.

it makes perfect sence, Science proves that there was a tempiture and if that tempiture went over or under insted of planets there would have been a black hole insted. Science also says they have no idea where the stuff came from to form our planets. Its just to much of a cawincadence that thease things just showed up for me. So I personaly believe that there was someone out there putting thease things into play, then after the big bang, he backed off. He had bigger more importent things to do and still does, do i believe that a generaly good person will go to h*** wile another person whos merdered 10 or 15 people will get to go to heven? no. just a flat out NO. if your a good person, i like to think that your going to heven. Do i believe evolushion is real? yes, theres just to much evadence saying that it is to turn and walk the other way. It may not make sence to some people, but it does for me, and it works for me.
