This RP is already in progress please do not post any replies within this thread if you are not part of the RP!! You are more than welcome to read and enjoy. Thank you :3

Opening Plot:

Somewhere on the California coast lays a hidden in plain site. Most people who come across the building assume it's another marine research center. In reality it is far worse. This base is where the White Coats do their nasty experiments on animals and other human beings. A place anyone who is on the other end of the needle would call a living nightmare.

Lately the White Coats had been acting strange compared to their normal strange. They have been avoiding most of their experiments for the last several days. Keeping things hush hush. Doing a lot more paperwork than poking. What's even weirder was that the Erasers... were acting somewhat well mannered. Only to a certain few.

It wasn't until things started to become more quiet you figure out what was going on. Many of the experiments were being transported. To where exactly is unknown, which is a cause of worry. Luckily you didn't to get to find out. On the way to the next location fate was on your side. The armored van that was transporting you, and one other, hit or was hit by something causing the vehicle to drive off a five story cliff. Banged up a bit you managed to survive the crash. You searched through the wreckage to see who else survived the crash. Unfortunately the death count was high. The one out of five Erasers was badly wounded, all the rest perished on impact. You felt somewhat relieved but sadden by the fact lives were lost.

It then dawned on you! No one else was around-- besides one other bird kid-- so why wait around for the White Coats to discover the wreckage. They can be on their way now! So take flight and GO! Be Free!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(Note: The characters will head east to New York. Many things will happen along the way, even maybe getting lost and end up in Florida. Or get captured and brought back to a lab. It's hard to say. I will add more notes in this section in the future if I think of anything to add. It won't look like this little note. It will look more fancy with numbering, organization etc!)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Things We Need to Know!:

Mutant Bird Kids: 98% human, 2% avian (bird). Bone structure is lighter enabling them to fly, heavier bones would have proven to be a problem. Their wings are quite large. When stretched out they appear longer than their body. Example: Bird Kid height- 5'6" Wing Span: Roughly 14 feet. On some occasions the mutations within the bird kid evolve causing them to gain new abilities such walking through walls, turning invisible, talking to animals etc.

Erasers: Human-wolf hybrids. Most of the time they take on human form but when on the attack or on the hunt they'll appearance takes on a more wolfish look. Almost like you modern day werewolf. Almost all of them have nasty jerk like personalities. A handful have the thirst for blood. Erasers are the White Coats lackeys. So trusting one of them is a high level risk, better to avoid. Lastly, Erasers have a shorter life span do to unknown reasons. The max most Erasers live up too is 5 years, after becoming a genetic freak the White Coats mended together.

White Coats: Scientist who enjoy experimenting on other humans. They have labs all across the globe, most hidden some in plain sight. Not all White Coats are evil beings, some are out to help improve the world's existence yet those who they poke and probe don't see it that way. A few are just plain crazy in the head. Depends on how you look at it. The White Coats do call the shots but their is usually one to a few directors in charge of a region. Some make themselves known while others like to lay in wait.

Sometimes she can even picture the area and move there without much effort. Using this ability too much in a short distance of time can strain Carter's body to the point she is paralyzed. Paralyses can last up to an hour to about five hours depending how extensive Carter uses her powers. Paralyses also can happen when she teleports further than what her body can handle.

Zachary stood waiting for to grab his open hand. I hesitated for a moment before finally placing my hand in his. His fingers curled around my hand then with one pull I was up on my feet again. He was quite strong. Stronger than he looked. I knew if he wanted too he can take me out at any moment. He asked me if I were okay and the wound on my cheek hurt.

I gave a glare, of course it does! My face feels like it is swallow. Though it might just be temporary do to shock. "It does hurt..." I began to say, softly touching my cheek. "Anyways enough about that I am out of here before another unwanted surprise comes around." In saying that I turned tail took off running to get some speed before taking off.

After four long strides I unfolded my wings flapped them twice before kicking off the ground. A gentle breeze had been blowing which helped lifting me up into air. It felt great being back in the air. Its been ages since I last flew in open air. I flew a half a mile up before turning looking back down at Zachary.

"Aren't you coming!" I shouted to him. I didn't really trust him. He seems nice, but it can be a cover up. Hard to tell. It would be nice to have company with another avian teen like myself for once. Not only that survival is better when in numbers.

Carter Everdeen. She has a name. Awesome. I nodded as she started speaking. I noticed her looking around, guess she didn't trust me. I didn't blame her. We both had reasons to be suspicious. But then again I was used to talking to people, or well listening to grunts from the Mutts.

I guess she found what she was looking for because she smiled. O..kay.. then. I tried not to feel uncomfortable, at the end my wings had been acknowledged before. I automatically brushed my hair with my fingers, I always did when I didn't know what else to say or do.

Before she could continue speaking we heard a howl. Mutts. I wasn't entirely sure what direction it was coming from because I couldn't really see with the sun above us.

It came at us, fast. We didn't even have time to fly. Carter pushed me away from the Mutt and she took the blow. I heard the slap. Ouch. That's definitely going to leave a mark. But I noticed that after he struck her, he wasn't really after her. With one sniff of the air the Mutt was off again.

I offered my hand, "You ok? That looked like it really hurt."

10-25-2015 at 3:55 PM
Zachary. He had a name. Not a number like most. As he stood back up he towered over me making me feel like a small child. He then repeated my question to him. "What's your name? And what are you?"

At first I didn't want to answer him. For I don't have an ounce of trust. Especially, since well.... I don't know. But he did answer me honestly. He gave his name and mentioned that he has wings. Wings!? Really, it's hard to believe that there is someone like me. Carefully I tried to peek around him. Because he was so large I literally had to lean over. I probably looked like a curious child to him. My eyes went wide. Sure enough his wings rested against his back. The long feathers were dusted with ash and dirt. It was hard to see the exact coloring. Black wings. Took my eyes a few seconds to adjust the actual tint.

A small smile crept upon my face. It soon disappeared when I realized it. I stood upright again starring back into his eyes. I thought for a long moment. I don't get him. He is tall and can easily take me out if he wanted too. But why isn't he? Maybe his intentions are not to fight. Unlike mine. I am starting to feel bad to hitting him moments ago.

"Carter. Carter Everdeen." I announced. Before I could tell Zachary that we are the same I heard a howl similar to a beast waking in anger echoed through the small canyon.

It has to be an Eraser! But they all should be dead. Or maybe I overlooked the possibly. Just then some misshapen figure came barreling through heading straight for us. It didn't look injured. But it surely looked as if it were one of the many failed experiments the White Coats created. Out of instinct I pushed Zachary out of the way soon the creature was upon us. No sooner as I did the creature swung his hairy gorilla like arm back handing my face.

Sending me falling several inches into the air. My face stung from the impact. When I the hit the ground I rolled to a stop. I tried to get up but I kept stumbling back to the ground. The hit was a lot stronger than I thought. The creature roared again. Looking frantic. As if it were looking for something or someone. It sniffed at the air. Drool ran from its jaws. Just then soon he caught whiff to whatever he was searching for he howled again. Running the the direction he was looking toward.

When he was gone I sat on the ground holding my face. It seemed like Zachary and I were just in the way to his goal hence why he swung his arms around like he did. Whatever the creature was it had me shaken. I sat mortified until a figured approached me offering a hand.

10-24-2015 at 1:06 AM
I fell to the ground. Face hurting like hell. Well I wasn't expecting that, so I'll give her a plus on her fighting skills. She wasn't any bigger than me, smaller and I'd assume younger. I got my assed kicked by a girl. Great.

I stayed on the floor, just in case she thought I was a threat. She asked me who I was and what I was. "My name is Zachary, but you can call me Zacky. As to what I am... I'm not sure. You could say I have wings." I got up and dusted my pants.

I placed both of my hands up, making sure she knew I was no threat to her. She was indeed smaller, way small. But I knew now not to question her fighting skills. "What's your name? And what are you?"

10-17-2015 at 10:11 PM
Sneaky up on an already shaken up girl wasn't a very smart idea. I didn't give him a chance to explain himself. For all I know he could be an Eraser, or another type of experiment working for the White Coats. Soon I turned around and saw how close he was I punched him. Hard!. Right in between the eyes. My knuckles turned slightly purple from hard I hit him. Deserves him right. I'll punch him again if I have too. The person fell back onto his bum. Which told me he wasn't expecting to get hit. So he wasn't prepared to deflect the attack or brace himself.

My body went to defense mode, fists ready, eyes fixed on him and feet firmly planted on the ground. All I had to do was wait. Wait for him to stand back up. I kinda hoped for him to stand back up which would tell me he hasn't given up. Cause he stayed down after being hit once by a girl... it would be laughable.

"Who are you!!" I shouted, my voice was dry from inhaling the smoke earlier. I didn't sound scary or serious at all. "State your name! And what you are!" I declared. As I stared him down I could tell he was no older than me. Maybe a few years older. He features looks a lot more mature. So I figured. Either way I am going to show him I am no push over when it comes to surviving.

Ouch. Everything...Hurts. I looked around, noticing how badly my cage had landed. If I would have been inside, I would be dead, with no doubt. We had fallen, no doubting that, but I didn't know the fall would be this bad. I saw 2 dead Mutts in front of me. Good. That's what they all deserved. I got up from the ground, dusting myself, happy that my jacket hadn't gotten torn. Well, I could have died, but at least my jacket is alright. I chuckled. Worrying more over my jacket then my own life, classical.

I extended my wings, wondering if they had been broken, but to my luck they weren't. My jeans didn't though, two torn holes were by my knee caps. Oh well. I walked around wondering if I should leave or stay. But decided to get away from the wreck because I couldn't really see.

I kept walking, but it then clicked in, there is another cage. I wasn't sure if I wanted curiosity to get the best of me or not, but decided to give in anyway. Along the way I found yet another dead Mutt, which made me smile.

There. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a figure. Too small to be a Mutt, but big enough to be a White Coat. I cautiously took steps closer to it. I feel my nerves kick in, if it was a Mutt i'd kill it, and if it was a White Coat I'd make sure they experience what dropping from the sky felt like.

I closed in on a figure, just to find out what a punch to the face felt like.

09-24-2015 at 11:55 PM
We had been driven off a cliff. The sudden short flight upward making you feel are though gravity wasn't with you no more. Then the terrible stinking feeling takes over. As if a rock fell into the pit of your stomach weighing you down. I didn't know how far the drop was. I blacked out before I counts the up to five seconds. Either from fear or I hit my head on the way down.

When I finally awoke I was outside. Even through the thick smoke from the van catching fire at some point I can feel the warmth from the sun touching my skin. I almost had forgotten what the sun felt like. Despite the fact I wasn't enjoying any moment of this.

My body ached all over. My eyes stun from the smoke. I tasted fresh blood in my mouth from either bite my lip or something. My head was spinning. I had to forced myself to crawl on my hands and knees. I inched slowly away from the wreckage. Upwind. Away from the smoke so that I could breath. Soon fresh air touched my lungs I coughed uncontrollably until the clean filled them once more. I stood up onto my feet. My legs were shaky, almost collapsing from under me.

Part of me wanted to lay down for a bit. But I knew that I shouldn't. Forcing my body cooperate with me I steadily glanced around. I might not have been the only one who survived the crash. My luck was an Eraser or so were still alive. I really didn't want to stick around to find out. The only reason why I am choosing on staying put was because of the other crate. Curious yes. Worried yes. I wanted to know who or what was in it. Also, I would regret taking off before I get the chance to see him or her, and making sure that they were alright.

Who knows maybe it's another bird kid like me. And yes I have wings. A human with wings. No I am not an angel. I am just a freak the White Coats pieced together. That's the short story to the long one that is coming up. Anyways, me wishing it might be another avian kid--fancy term to saying bird-- was partly a joke. I knew the chances were slim to none. Its been years since I last saw another winged human. I have seen winged animals. Poor things didn't last long.

I took one last glance around before I started to make my way wreckage. I avoided the heavy smoky areas. Thank goodness nothing in my body felt broken, probably badly bruised and a few gashes. Other that I am good to go. My wings were tucked tightly up against my body underneath my shirt. Erasers tend to tug at them if I didn't. It's uncomfortable. But I think with them secured protected them from harm. Hopefully.

The closer I reached the van the more nervous I got. Nearby I spotted a body several yards further up. It was an Eraser. I could till by the outfit. Another thing about us bird kids we have hawk like vision. Not as good as a real hawk but we can see things twenty times better than that of a normal human. The van was all mangled. I couldn't tell which end was what anymore. I didn't bother looking up to see how far up the cliff was. By the damage done I say we fell straight down a few stories up. I am surprised to have somehow lived through that... then again I do have that ability. Maybe at the last second... Oh well my mind keeps getting side tracked from what my original plan was. I looked about for another minute nearly loosing hope when I heard movement from behind. My body froze like a deer in headlights.

I listened carefully. Foot steps. They moved toward my direction ever so slightly. Whoever those steps belonged to he or she were certainly trying not to be noticed. Was it an Eraser? Is it someone who was passing by? I slowly turned my body around to face whoever it was. Letting them know sneaking up on me is a bad idea.

09-24-2015 at 9:45 PM
I woke up to bumps and noises left and right. I rubbed my eyes. What the hell? I looked around, and noticed I was in a back of a vehicle. I rubbed my head. I keep hearing the mutts fighting over something. Didn't quite catch the last few phrases since I wasn't that great with their language when they were agitated.

Several hours later the bumps turned harsh. I hit my head several times against metal. Not surprised that they can't drive. I cussed under my breath. With all the chaos going around I forgot that there was another cage in the back with me.

This cage was different. Smaller, and had a cover on it. My curiosity clicked in. It's probably a mutt. Just ignore it. But then again, why would a mutt be caged? Maybe it was dangerous? Who knew, I wasn't going to find out though.

The bumps ended up turning worst. All of a sudden my cage hit the roof of the car. I groaned in pain as I bumped left and right.

I might just die today.

09-22-2015 at 8:30 PM
We have been on the road for several hours. I lost track to do motion sickness. I never handled transportation very well. The road started off smooth, then it got bumping. And it's been bumping since. I laid curled up in a ball holding onto my stomach. I didn't want to hurl any bit of food I had left in it. For who knew when my next will be.

I wanted to take a peek from under the tarp. To get a better look at the cage next to mine. Even though my curiosity had a hold of my will power I forced myself to remain where I lay. I didn't want to take the chance for any of the Erasers sitting nearby to spot me. If they did who knows what they'll do to me. Though sometimes taking a risk here and there wouldn't hurt. As long as your careful. The thought often returned to my mind. Who or what is in that cage?

Bringing me closer wanting to take a peek. Finally I couldn't take it any longer. I slowly sat up from my curled position. I inched over watching the faded figures through the tarp. Even though I couldn't see the direction of their faces it helped a little to boost my confidence to keep going. Just another inch... just one more for my hand to grab to fabric in front of me. Soon I grabbed hold of the tarp the van all a sudden jerked heavily as if it rammed something.

My body slammed about the cage until I managed to grab onto the siding. I paid no attention to how the Erasers were taking the all sudden roller coaster ride. My concern was the other experiment and myself. The van went still for a moment. I sighed in relief soon I as I took a breath the van was hit once again. This time the sinking feeling that you are falling from a tall height filled you up. I held onto that breath worrying for the worst. After that everything went dark.

09-20-2015 at 11:41 PM
I had lost of time once again. I always do. Regardless of how many times I try to. I looked around hoping I'd see maybe a watch or even a calendar but I had nothing. I sighed. Another day in this hell hole. What will today hold?

I looked around, I couldn't complain about my kennel. It was spacious and alright. Well better than the rest of the small kennels here that is. I got up and stretched my legs, thankful that I could at least stand up. A White Coat saw me, but didn't say anything. Of course they don't say anything, I'm the only one that doesn't put up fights when they need something.

A plate full of food was in the front of me. I didn't bother touching it. I knew what it had. Pills. What did those do? Who knew. I wasn't about to find out either. Not after the last incident. I pushed the plate with my food to the farthest corner of my kennel. I rested my head on the bars.

When will this all be over? I didn't bother hoping for anything. One of the White Coats came to my kennel. She had a needle filled with something. "You aren't going to give me a hard time are you, Zachary?" she asked. "Not unless you tell me what's inside." I replied. She nodded. "Since you aren't bothering to eat your food, I have to find a way that you get the proper proteins that you need." she replied. Fair enough. I nodded and extended my arm. She plunged the needle in and pushed the vitamins into my blood stream. "You should eat your food though. It helps." she said. I didn't bother replying back.

I rubbed my arm where she had poked me. If she had lied or not we would see later. For now, it was back to going to sleep, today I wasn't going to get any exerciser.

The doors opened. I had dozed off. Some White Coats walked in with mutts following them. Huh, maybe today will be something. They went first to a small kennel. I didn't know what was inside, but whatever it was it made the White Coat smile.

I saw him heading towards me."Mr. Zachary. How are you today?" he asked. I didn't reply. "I see. Take him as well. He's a fine specimen, so treat him with care." He said. They didn't bother putting a sheet over me. They just hauled my cage. I didn't know what was happening but by the signs of it, it wasn't good. "Don't move Zachary. This won't hurt one bit." I heard from behind me. I felt a small amount of pain and then my eyes started getting heavy. "That should do it."

I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore. Let's hope this, doesn't get me killed.I dosed off.

09-19-2015 at 1:44 AM
I sat curled at the furthest corner of my crate. Yes, crate. One big enough to fit a Great Dane. Small enough to keep me contained. Lately it's been quiet. Too quiet for comfort. Like the saying goes "The calm before a big storm." The air around the place was eerie. Being kept in isolation from the other experiments in a musty room didn't help much.

The last the White Coats barely took any notice in me. Thank the heavens. When I do see them all they do is flip through the papers on their clipboards. Whispering among themselves. I haven't seen any Erasers lately either. I am more relieved about it then having a being ran through painful tests of endurance. With all that is going on my thoughts lead to many unpleasant thoughts. Several I don't even want to mention. Few of my thoughts were about growing another arm or a third eye ball. Things like that do happen around it here. So, it's no laughing matter.

After a few hours passed, what seemed like hours, my legs started to cramp from sitting in a tight position for so long. I stretched out my legs. They felt as if they wrapped tightly in a bandage together. That's how stiff they feel. Having no exercise and living in a cramped cage doesn't help. After stretching them out the best that I could I curled them back up to chest leaning my check on my knees.

I wanted to go to sleep. With my thoughts racing, sensing something wasn't right. Stress was keeping be wide awake. I probably look like a raccoon by now. Meaning I have dark circles forming under my eyes.

Another hour had passed with no luck of dozing off. When I was about shift around the doors to the room I was being kept in swung open. My heart leaped out of surprise but sank quickly back down out of fright. A few White Coats walked followed by two Erasers. I swallowed my breath hoping my worse fears weren't coming into reality. The Erasers stayed near the doorway while the White Coats approached. I recognized most of them beside one. Everyone remained silent while the new face studied me. The way he was starring at me sent a chill through my spine.

"She'll do." He said. With a wave of a hand the two Erasers walked forward. Picking up my crate without hesitating. It all happened so quick I didn't get a chance to ask what was going on. It wasn't like anyone was going to give me an answer anyways.

The Erasers carried the crate through several hallways. Soon they reached the garage they dropped me. Literally! Being held up inches off the ground they let go. I bumped my check on one of the bars other than that I braced myself. Having gone through many unexpected trials my reflexes are quick. The Erasers snarled something then walked off leaving me in a room with other crates with sorry looking experiments. Some cages were covered in tarps. Others were being loaded into armored vans or sent away.

Not even moments later the Erasers returned. Hauling me towards a van. Soon inside they covered my crate with a white sheet. Guess they ran out of tarps. I can see through it just a bit to make out shapes. The Erasers moved away only to haul in another crate. By the size of the van and how heavy the crate thumped. I am and whoever else was in the other cage are the only two experiments present.

The two Erasers who brought in the other crate sat down on the seats on either side of the van. From what I saw there weren't any windows back here. Meaning no sight seeing for them. Meaning boredom. Also meaning torment for me and whoever is in here. Soon two more people came into the van shutting the doors behind them. No sooner they did the van engine turned on. A light tug on the tires we were on the go.
