CLOSED: Newbie Helper Open Applications!

We received an overwhelming response! The open application process is now CLOSED. Please be patient while we review all of the wonderful applications :)
No new applications will be accepted after this time stamp: July 20th, 7:30A, Ala time.
As you all may have noticed this is the first open Newbie Helper application here on Alacrity. Due to some staff changes in the Newbie Helper program we have a few spots available. Do you think you would make a valuable member of the Newbie Helper team?
Everyone applying must realize that being a Newbie Helper isn't just welcoming new members. It's about being a helpful, knowledgeable and friendly member of Alacrity. You must be able to answer questions in chat, in the issue hub, as well as scribble welcomes to new members. The application below will include some questions associated with the Newbie Helper quiz that all Helpers must complete upon joining the team. Please note that more questions, or even the full quiz, may be sent out to applicant finalists before we make our decision.
Rules for applying:
1. DO NOT post applications here. Send all applications to account #4615. If you send your application anywhere else, it will be deleted.
2. Answer all questions as completely and truthfully as you can.
3. Fill everything out in the application. Do not leave blanks. Don't rush your application! The open application process will remain open for at least two days, but may stay open for up to a week or two!
4. You must have played on Alacrity for at least 14 days to apply.
Application:
1. Why do you want to be a Newbie Helper?:
2. Are you willing put the time into being a Helper and keeping up to date on new things (items, rules, etc.) on the site?
3. How much time do you spend on Alacrity?
4. What are the qualities of a good Helper to you?
5. Why is scribbling Newbies important?
6. (Helper Quiz question): What is the purpose of speed and drive?
Please be patient as is takes time to read through applications. It is not decided yet how many Helpers will be added at this time or when the exact closing of the applications will be, but we will notify you when applications are closed.

We'll probably have another thread up once we are in need of more helpers and we cannot decide on any without going to the applications being submitted again.

It's not about how many days you've been here, Elbie. It's about how much you know about Alacrity and how friendly you are with the players.
