Santa Paws: 6 Days Left: Magical Rubber Ball!
Started By
Santa Paws his holding daily drawings for special items up until Christmas! These drawings will be posted each day both here, in the news, as well as in Mini Updates/Admin Updates, at some point before midnight. There is one prize per drawing and it's completely up to chance (haha, NOT the companion!) to choose the winner. The rules are simple and they are straightforward, but they are not to be trifled with.
Read the Rules!:
1.) Post ONCE in this thread before Midnight Ala time, on the day the thread is posted in order to be entered into the drawing. (If you post more than once, you may be disqualified from the running)
2.) You may post once per account.
3.) Players found creating more than the 2 allowed accounts to enter these contests will be BANNED from Alacrity; no exceptions. Don't do it -- we hate banning people.
4.) All Alacrity standard rules still apply! If you're not familiar with them, please take some time to do so -- you can find the link at the bottom of every page!
5.) We don't care what your post says, provided you follow the above rules, although Santa Paws is also picking a secondary winner based on criteria listed at the end of this post :)
This drawing will be for: a Magical Rubber Ball
The winner will receive a brand new Magical Rubber Ball, complete with all 5 uses!
P.S. Santa Paws told me he'll pull the next round's second winner based on most interesting holiday tradition. Does your family do something fun? Do you know about an ancient, silly tradition? Post it for a chance to win! :D

My family Christmas tradition is to go to my aunts home and eat homemade pizza, while playing a game that includes rolling dice to attempt to get doubles, and grabbing a gift as soon as you do. Once all gifts are claimed, you open them, then roll the dice again for a certain amount of time and try to steal other peoples gifts.

My bro and I usually go Christmas Tree shopping, and when we do, we play SS, Santa Spies. WE're undercover for Santa, watching children form a family we're being "fostered" from, to see if they're naughty or nice!

for my family's tradition we have one desert that always graces the table- Grasshopper pie (when i was little i thought actual grasshoppers were used). another tradition is that we would celebrate christmas with one set of grandparents and then would drive 12 hours a few days later and celebrate it again with our other set. Two Christmas's :D<br />

Every year my family puts the Christmas tree up on Black Friday (since we all hate shopping). And usually the tree comes down a day or two after Christmas. Also every year on Christmas Eve me and my best friend watch The Nativity Story, and on Christmas day my family watches Charlie Brown Christmas.

We sleep in our pjs all day and wear them inside out. Wearing them inside out is a tradition for good luck so it will snow.

We have a tradition of decorating for Christmas super late. A couple times, we've ended up buying our Christmas tree on Christmas Eve and decorating it that night. :P

Another tradition we have are stockings. At my Grandma's house we all actually have two stockings because they are big hits. Everyone loves finding funny things to place in those stockings. My family loves a good pratical joke. Since we RV we try to "out tacky" each other at Christmas time with wacky flamingo gifts. My grandpa is the most stubborn person I know so we are all always trying to find him the funniest donkey present we can (I think I have one this year!). There have been other "gag-gift phases" as well; hippos, spoons, ducks, noses, creepy baby dolls. All with unique stories that go along with them. If you do something or same something silly/rude/stupid my family does not get mad, we just get even, so to say. A little humility is always a good way to bond, and to prove that we still love each other even though they "target" of these pranks has done something undesirable. A family that pranks together stays together. ;)
