Halloween of '10.

Okay, so tons of plans, I'd like feedback! Everything is for the week of Halloween, so you have a chance to participate. :) For those of you in other countries, Halloween is a ghoulish celebration observed on October 31st every year, we dress up in scary costumes and run door to door begging for candy (the kids, at least!). -a Halloween themed layout variation -all dogs will turn into zombies (raw, dripping flesh, bloody patches, bones showing, glowing eyes) -special costumes/Halloween items/monthlies (you'll get to choose "trick" or "treat" and get different items based on your choice!) -special battle where you can choose to become a "superhero" or a "zombie" and your goal is to attack members of the opposite team as much as possible! you can attack every 20 minutes and earn 5 points each time, and when you are attacked, you lose 1 point. there will be two special items (the "Zombie Sword" will allow you to attack every 10 minutes for an hour and the "Magical Cape" will allow you to evade attacks for an hour) that will be purchasable in the stores and findable via random events. a scoreboard will show the winning team as well as the top players attacking points. at the end of the battle (Black Friday!) you will be able to exchange these points for EVEN MORE special Halloween only items. :D also, debating an expensive option to keep your dogs zombie style forever! plus special random events for each side. anymore ideas? :D

*Still vehemently opposed to my dogs being zombies.* I like the trick-or-treat idea too. We could collect treats from people's profiles or from their dog pages and trade the treats in later.

I remember they used to do this on Gaia Online... on weeks for Halloween and stuff, there would be random floating items on pages around the site [they'd appear at random] and you'd click em to get limited-time Halloween items. I think it'd be a cool idea for Alacrity too.

Hmm not a fan of battling games either hmm What about all the mods, artists, all the important people (ok all of us are important but you know what I mean ^_^) were setup as houses where you can trick or treat at and you can go to each only on Halloween and collect seasonal item varying in rarity or somthing etc Just a thought XD

I'm personally against any kind of battling system, even if it is just for halloween. How about a halloween game where you can collect a themed item once every 4 hours or something? I just know when Wajas did their halloween trick-or-treat thing it took many minutes for each page to load, since so many people were feverishly clicking whatever they could to collect themed items.

I see one major problem with the event: with people going on so much to do the event the dogs are going to age like CRAZY! It's going to be especially bad for people not in American timezones or who play late nights ala time. We need an event item (or link in kennels) to temporarily stop the dogs from aging. This item/link only works during events and will not allow training or breeding of dogs while in use. When used, you select which dogs go inside and the dogs stay inside until you take them out or the event ends, whichever first. Items like this would be great for all events that require you to be online to play. Here's a few ideas of seasonal items for each holiday: <li>Enchanted coffin (halloween) <li>Hiding under the table (Thanksgiving), the dog hides through it all <li>Enchanted giftbox (Christmas) <li>Warm dog bed (New years), the dog sleeps through it all. <li>Cozy basket (Easter) <li>Hiding from the fireworks (4th of july)

This sounds geart! I'd buy soooo many of the keep your doh as a zombie things. The only other thing I can think of is the Jack O' Bolt which can strike 10 openents at once.

Meh, I don't really agree with keeping dogs zombies forever, it gives us something to look forward to! But I love everything else!!!

Hmm well I'm fine with anything as long as people who don't have upgrades can participate. I really enjoy the sites that celebrate holidays, but I prefer if EVERYONE could enjoy it i.e. if there is a new companion, anyone can get it :)

Maybe for just the Halloween week, we could have special random event companions like bats and black cats? Maybe finding jack-o-lanterns as accessories, too and there could be two kinds, a happy looking kind and an evil looking kind. Also, this applies to more than Halloween, but I'd really love to see holiday bandanas. Like a pink or red one with hearts on it for Valentines day, a black one with candy corns on it for Halloween, a green or red one with christmas trees or a white one with gold snowflakes on it for Christmas, etc. We already have the bandanas drawn and everything, so we'd just need variations to be colored, which I'd be willing to do if Hel's got her hands full. :} I think a black spiked collar would also be awesome for a Halloween item.

We could all put in our statuses 'lights on' or 'lights off' like they do on Mweor. If you put 'lights on' it means you're giving out treats(you can still get treats by scribbling or messaging with 'trick or treat!') if you put 'lights off' you aren't giving anything out.

me likes the zombie idea :D lol but i want to choose which dogs get zombie-fied and maybe also, costumes for the dogs? like mummys witches etc, with hats and stuffs... idk :D i love halloween either way X3
