8 days of Christmas!
Santa Paws his holding daily drawings for special items up until Christmas! These drawings will be posted each day both here in Mini Updates/Admin Updates. There is one prize per drawing and it's completely up to chance (haha, no, NOT the companion!) to choose the winner. The rules are simple and they are straightforward, but they are not to be trifled with.
Read the Rules!:
1.) Post ONCE in this thread before Midnight Ala time, on the day the thread is posted in order to be entered into the drawing. (If you post more than once, you may be disqualified from the running)
2.) You may post once per account.
3.) Players found creating more than the 2 allowed accounts to enter these contests will be BANNED from Alacrity; no exceptions. Don't do it -- we hate banning people.
4.) All Alacrity standard rules still apply! If you're not familiar with them, please take some time to do so -- you can find the link at the bottom of every page!
5.) We don't care what your post says, provided you follow the above rules, although we LOVE a good giggle (and it seems that perhaps the post that gets the biggest giggle out of us may be worth something, too.

And posting on my side too, here's a dog related joke I read the other day,<br /> <br /> Upon entering a little country store, the stranger noticed a sign warning, “Danger! Beware of dog!” posted on the glass door. Inside, he noticed a harmless old hound dog asleep on the floor beside the cash register.<br /> “Is that the dog folks are supposed to beware of?” he asked the owner.<br /> “Yep, that’s him,” came the reply.<br /> The stranger couldn’t help but be amused. “That certainly doesn’t look like a dangerous dog to me. Why in the world would you post that sign?”<br /> “Because,” the owner explained, “Before I posted that sign, people kept tripping over him.”

A guy ties his Great Dane dog to a lamp pos and goes into a bar for a drink.<br /> A man comes in and says, “Who owns the big dog tied to the lamp post outside?”<br /> The first man says, “He’s mine.”<br /> The second man says, “Well he’s dead.”<br /> “He’s dead,… what happened?”<br /> He says, “My dog killed him!”<br /> "What kind a dog do you have?”<br /> He says, “A Chihuahua.”<br /> “How can a Chihuahua kill a Great Dane?<br /> “He choked on it.”<br /> <br /> Not a very pleasant joke but it got a giggle out of me the first time I read it.

I don't have a joke but something awesome/hilarious happened to me at work tonight! :D<br /> So I was on my way out the door to get some groceries, as I walked down the patio I heard the rustling of wings in a tree just off the side of the porch, so curious I ducked under the branches of the tree to see what it was, as I stood up I came face to face with a barred owl!... literally face to face less than a foot away, it startled me because I wasn't expecting an owl in my face, but he wasn't expecting a whatever he thought I was either because he promptly fell straight out of the tree! he quickly jumped up and flew away in the opposite direction and as I again started walking to the car terribly confused and laughing he made a pass by just above my head!<br /> True story
