Basically the Lady's first dog was a BC/JRT Mix and he was super calm, she didn't get why Goldie was so hyper, duh because Collies can turn their hyperactivity off, JRT's are designed to go go go all day.

I agree. I'm not getting a rescue since this will be my first dog, its ok if its your first dog but your parents own it but to be honest. My mother dislikes dogs, she doesn't say it and isn't mean but I know by the way she acts, she's not afraid she's more I don't care about dogs than anything.

As much as shelter dogs are good, when I'm getting a dog its going to be my first dog.
I want a pair of Corgis and will save up for them.
Honestly I saw a post that (truthfully) said that people mess up dogs and leave them in a shelter for others to pick up the pieces.
As much as I'm for adopt don't shop, I want a puppy and I've already sorted out a plan with my friend, their garden is only about the size of a pair of camper-vans. If my parents would let me have dogs in my current house I'd take a big dog, our garden is enormous(we have like 10 trees out back)
I'm going for a breeder as this will be my first dog and I'd need them to be of placid, friendly nature as they'd be around kids and animals a lot.
Before you start dissing me, I have done 200+ hours of research just on diet alone.
I may not be saving a pair of dogs but this way, 2 less dogs will be broken waiting for others to pick up the pieces. I'm only choosing a breeder as I need my dogs to be tiny and pleasant to be around. An inexperienced person taking on a shelter dog will be worse than getting 2 dogs I know will fit me perfectly.

I remember the exact moment i first saw and Akita in life. We were driving to go out to eat, and i looked out the window and slapped my dad. "Hey is that an Akita?" He stopped and we turned following them. I'm sure they were freaked out when we rolled down the window and asked if they were Akitas. She said yes and i was estatic when i was allowed to pet one. She had a young puppy, and we found out she lived a few blocks away. She was very nice and now her puppy is grown and she got to meet our Akita :)

That's exactly right. If you can, try getting the smallest bag you can find.. that way you don't lose a lot of $$ if they dislike it, and you can see what flavour they like :D Lemme know what the vet says the red spots are!

I kept the only none glitch and named her Bug-A-Boo for she looks a Halloween doggie. I need a female so that works out. trying to breed Yuuki with Snow a few more times but Yukki keels over he is getting old e3e
