Yes... And then my Grandmother was also one of four girls. xD And then she had four girls. :3 My mom, she did not have four girls. lol.

I suppose. I mean... There have also been some family problems and money problems. Rural town turned into rich suburb. And then he had four daughters, so... drama, drama, drama.

I'm sure it can't be complete rubbish. xD And I shall talk to you later.

My mom actually stole them from my Grandfather. He was going to throw them all away. He changed quite a bit when she passed away. He also always has had that tough army-guy attitude, so he didn't act like the sentimental type. I think he did a lot of things just because his wife liked them. He used to read with her, but after she passed he stopped reading all together. He always wears a gold chain, and I asked my mom about it one day. She told me that my Grandmother gave it to him as a present, and he thought it wasn't manly enough or whatever. But he still wore it because she gave it to him, and he hasn't taken it off since she passed away. You can tell nowadays that he covers up any emotions such as hurt and sadness. Or at least I can tell... I don't think my mom can tell so much...

I'm sure I could convince him to cut it. xD

Ah. I get what you mean. :) I'd love to see some of your work.

I have my grandfather's dogtags, my great uncle's Airforce jacket (not a bomber jacket though), and I think one of my Grandpa's Army jackets.

I will find him, and I will propose to him. xD

That is true. I must remember who I'm speaking to. xD

I'm very... weird when it comes to analyzing poems. Like everything else, I lean toward the extremes. I either get very deep and metaphorical, or I take it for just face value and say that is all there is to it. Which is true sometimes. I have poems like that. They literally just mean what is written, and there is nothing more to it.

Some of it was gold, and others were average. It was a nice blend, I suppose. I was struck by how different some of the styles were; I'm a fan of the strong first person where you get a good taste for the character, but there were also some lovely third person stories with good visual detail. It's definitely superior to Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul. ;)
Can you read a preview of it online, perhaps? Sometimes when you browse books on Amazon or wherever, there are snippets up.

Yep! xD I can verify the contents of the package, haha.

I've been transcribing them and putting them in order. There are also ones that she wrote to various other soldiers.

Haha. I tend to just be like, "Oh. Thank you very much." Then I change the topic to something else... or I walk away. Occasionally, I say that I have no idea what to say because I don't know what to do when someone compliments me. Some people find that charming for some reason. ^.^

Can I find him and marry him? .-.

He's not real. He's just a person that came to my mind. Possibly a figment of my own thoughts being portrayed as a man (that sounds weird, but I swear it's not... xD). It's a man's voice and from a man's position, but in a way it's my thoughts. It's also about lying. Because a) I'm not a man, b) it never happened, and c) the speaker in the poem is making up answers, but he's also lying to himself about the situation.

Yes. I have the letters they wrote back and forth to each other. I really like them because they give me insight into who she was. She died when I was 5, and she never actually spent a ton of time with me. When she visited, she was there, but she let my Grandfather spend almost all the time with me because she knew him important it was to him.

I really like praise, but I never know what to say in return. :x

Ah ha! You imagine the writer as a man? That's wonderful because it is a man. I've had people ask me if it really happened, but it didn't. Which is kind of the point. Especially with the title and everything. :3

So far I've read the very first short story in my magazine, and it was very good. :3 I've also discovered there are book reviews scattered about of (I assume) recently published novels in the genre.
The Tails anthology I highly recommend. Some of the stories just blew me away, and there was excellent variety - everything from intellectual metaphors to playful humor.

Once you get the hang of the writing, it's not so bad. :) It took a bit of rote memorization for me to learn the characters, which is an uncommon need for me, but now they're pretty easy for me to identify. I like reading Japanese labels in our local Japanese grocery store. xD
At my school, there was only one straw to pull. :P It was kind of nice that every kid taking Japanese had the same teacher - that way, anyone you talked to had the same homework and lesson plans (within your level). By third and fourth year, we all knew each other well and got along. Plus, that's about the level where casual learners drop out, so we were all interested.

I have no idea what she thought. Never got the chance to ask. Although, I do know that my Grandfather loved her before he even saw her in person. xD He insisted he was in love with her when she wrote letters to him during the war. It was funny because she wrote a letter to one of her friends (also in the army) saying how this guy (who was most definitely my grandfather) thought he was in love with her and she was telling her friend how she didn't like him that way and felt like she could never love him. Lol. I guess that turned out to not be true. xD

That's really awkward that her name was spelt wrong.

I think part of me does know when a poem is good. I just say it's bad, so that way I don't get disappointed if someone says it's horrible. I do that with tests too. I always plan on getting a 70%. Then I'm thrilled when I get a 98%. xD

This is one of my favorite poems. People tend to like it a lot, too. It actually uses imagery! xD

I'm a writer; therefore, I lie.

Sitting all alone
I think to myself.
Wonder where you are,
where you'll be,
how you are.
I ask myself all these questions
I should be asking you.
And now I'm writing a poem
on the back of a napkin
with a circular coffee stain.
And I'm making up answers
to my questions
because I'm far too afraid
to get them from you.

Yes, it is my birthday. ^^ Well, actually, in my time zone it isn't. :P But yes.
There's nothing to forgive; thanks so much for the birthday wishes. ^^

This has been the best birthday in years. My prize gift is a year's subscription to the Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction; ever heard of it? Last year I purchased an anthology called Tails of Imagination and Wonder, a compilation of fantasy and sci fi stories involving felines (real, mythological, or metaphorical), and I absolutely adored it. I noticed that many of the stories were credited as being originally published in the Magazine of F&SF, so I looked it up, and now I'm going to be one happy F&SF nerd every other month. <3

As for your earlier question about Japanese, I honestly find the language easy to grasp. Unlike English, there are very few exceptions to grammar or conjugation rules. The most foreign concept about Japanese (aside from it being completely foreign) is the formality levels. I would speak with different conjugations to you than I would to a teacher.
And the writing system is an entire thing to learn in and of itself. Japan had no written language until it made contact with China, so it ended up adopting Chinese kanji. There are thousands of kanji in everyday use. Japan also "simplified" kanji forms to create phonetic writing systems, and that's mostly what we learned in class.

I adore Japanese, I could go on for hours. ^^ I think it flows well.

Haha. Old vegas showgirls... My grandfather has a tattoo of a bathing beauty on his arm. He got it when he was drunk in the army, and his buddies convinced him. x.x

I'm an artist. Most artists don't think they're good. It's practically a requirement. xD

I love creative writing classes. I'll probably take one in college.

She was just talking to the class in general about how imagery helps make a good poem, and just stuck it on the end. I don't really know why. And on the last day of class, she hugged me and told me that I already am a poet. (I think I said something like, "I want to be a poet someday.") She's one of the best teachers. Everyone likes her.

I write on my iPod's notepad late a night. x.x I only write using pen-paper when I'm in class or something and have my notebook. Mainly math class.

Me too! Sort of. I want to be old and crazy, but I want to be one of those that says really funny things "accidentally" and everyone laughs at. Like Yetta on The Nanny! I decided that even if I don't go senile, I will act it just for the kicks and giggles.

For me, if a long poem can keep my attention to read through it all, I simply adore it. I tend to prefer short poems though. As well as poems that mess around with syntax. I'm a huge ee$@#!*mings fan. (Let's see if it sensors his name... xD)

I was surprised I was able to crank out a poem so easily when I had that headache. I was certain I wasn't going to get any writing done that class.

Thank you very much. :3 I don't really think I'm very good... My creative writing teacher was funny though because we had an assignment to write a poem involving five words we pulled out of a hat. I was the first to read, then two more people read, and she critiqued them. Then she said that poems should use imagery then she added "unless you're Emily. In which case, you do just fine without any images." That's probably the best compliment I've ever had on any of my poems. :3
(08-8-2011 at 10:50 PM)

You are correct! That's why I almost exclusively write late at night/early in the morning. If I do write in the middle of the day, I tend to write in a very logical and precise way. Which can be good if that's the poem I'm going for which is what I did in Here, Here. My late night poems are always free verse. My daytime poems are normally structured or planned in a certain way.

I almost always write short poems... long poems distract for both reading and writing. x.x

I also write a lot of love/unrequited love/psychological type poems. I had a headache in my creative writing class once and wrote a poem which equated headaches to being locked up in a mental institution/prison. It was pretty decent.

This is a short poem I wrote to no one in particular, actually. Wrote it while I was distracted during my English midterm last year. I actually wrote it in pencil on the desk like the horrible child I am. xD

My Love

I could write down
all the wonderful things about you,
but then I would need
a piece of paper three miles long.
So I hope this will do:
I love you just the way you are
keep being you.

Mine is ideally about how I couldn't write a poem for the longest time. xD It probably also has some other random meanings that you could find. I'm actually rather absent minded when writing poems. I write them first and find meaning later. I like your poem. :3 Mine is done per-line though as an experiment of sorts. It's a short poem. I enjoy short poems. It's also written in first person.

Here, Here | 12/14/10 11:32AM
I haven’t been able to write a poem in weeks.
Weeks filled with page upon page of meaningless words.
Words so futile in my bless-ed attempt to find salvation.
Salvation littered with lies and heartless sounds.
Sounds in which others find the meaning to life.
Life that is so unforgiving the hopeful have lost.
Lost their minds to the same drabble as I.

The only reason "blessed" is written as "bless-ed" is to help with pronunciation. It's meant to be pronounced as it is written with the dash.

I have no idea what mine is called or even about... Not even sure if I have it on my computer. I wrote it in restricted study (aka detention), and I was angry at the supervising teacher because she wouldn't let me use my iPod to find songs for a psychology assignment (which was analyzing songs about some psychological topic, I picked learned optimism). Then she told me I was lying, and I got really angry. I hate it when people think I'm lying about something.

Good rhyming poems are ones that you can read through without even noticing the rhyming. Unfortunately, not many people are good at that, in my opinion. Some people are amazing with it, but others... not so much. Sing-song poems are not enjoyable. x.x

Me either... I gag. It's just so horrible. x.x

I normally don't write in any specific format. I did one poem where each line started with the same word as the previous line ended with. The poem also started and ended with the same word. I'm also not big on rhyming.

Delicious yogurt. <3 I love yogurt so much (provided it's got no fruit pieces in it). My story is going okay. I wrote the part I didn't like, so I'm glad I'm done with that.

I've been writing a lot of haikus recently. I've been using the standard American format. I wish I was using un instead of syllables, but I'm much too lazy to do that.

(08-7-2011 at 11:34 PM)

You can't just take theremin lessons. Most of the professionals are self-taught because it's so uncommon. I hated my guitar teacher... he was a creeper...

It's very sad. I do not remember what happened to him. I think he fell off of something, but I'm not sure.

Dying. x.x Actually, I did have the urge to kill off a character. I don't know which character. I was just like, "I want one of them to die..." xD
(08-7-2011 at 10:40 PM)
Johndeer
I'm horrible at instrument playing... Learning how to play the Theremin is difficult. T.T

I've never met either "breeds". I just think it's wrong to call them a breed when I don't believe they are. I don't think I'd ever do Schutzhund. It just doesn't appeal to me. Our dog trainer did both Schutzhund and showing with one of her GSDs named Jagger. She got a Malinois puppy who was supposed to be used for Schutzhund. He's from working lines, but actually had very good conformation for showing besides being a good working type (which is rare, though thankfully Malinois haven't been completely screwed over by show breeding). And he placed in a puppy class at a dog show. He's also learning agility. :3 Unfortunately he somehow injured his back, I believe. And he's supposed to be resting (no running at all) which is nearly impossible. He got out one day and (of course) he ran, so now he's back to where he started. The vets aren't sure if he'll ever be able to get better. I don't think he's even a year old yet. It's sad. :(

Ahh. I get what you mean. I've done that before. I try not to, but sometimes it's inevitable. Especially when I like the pairing. x.x Although I have this obsession with relationships not working out between characters right now.

Broken Sorrows The WereWolf
Ah, it's just fine! Do you have something that I might like?
(08-7-2011 at 7:51 PM)
Johndeer
Yeah... he just doesn't listen to much music at all. xD He plays some instrument... I know what it looks like, but I always forget what it's called. Saxophone? I don't remember which type.

I find that plush coats do tend to be calmer and more relaxed. Hence the reason they are not normally used for Schutzhund/Military/Police work. However, there are some that are handfuls. It just varies from dog to dog. Shiloh Shepherds are a crap breed. Just like "King Shepherds" I think are a crap breed. But long coats aren't Shilohs and there is a big difference.

Even if you only posted once a week that'd be better than what we all have going right now. x.x Mostly we're just making fics.

Haha. Okay. I didn't even remember that until you mentioned it. But thank you for telling me! That's interesting...

Sorry for the delay, I had a reply in the beginning stages when Ala started going down for our server change. But now I shall sit and socialize!

Yeah, Texas was fiendishly hot. At least it was dry heat, though; it's the humidity here in the midwest that's killing me. Actually, I believe Texas has a drought right now - my cousins said they hadn't seen rain since last October, which is difficult to imagine.
I'm really sick of setting weather records, haha. We broke the driest July in a ridiculous number of years, and I think we were in the running for most consecutive days in the 90s - or maybe we broke it by now. And last winter was brutal as well. I wish I could live somewhere with more of a happy medium, heh. I enjoy mild springs and falls.

That sounds like a great sight-seeing tour. :) Most of my knowledge of Europe comes from fiction or my friend's trip, but it all sounds wonderful. Ooh, family in Italy - had you met them directly before, or was this your first visit?

I feel your pain; I'm getting out of practice with my Japanese already. My college unfortunately doesn't offer Japanese classes. I'm hoping to enroll in summer courses at a local college just to keep learning. Language is an excellent way to exercise the mind.
In Tokyo, most of the Japanese employees we encountered spoke fluent English. Many of the kids in the host families also spoke well. My sister, Hiroka, spoke carefully and slowly but she was always intelligible.

You could play fetch in the empty house. ;)

Rattie licks and nibbles are always cute - rats are the best. ^^ *gushes a bit* Despite their short lifespan, I foresee myself adopting more rodents after college.

Thanks. :) I'm thrilled to be going to college. I have a small school, about 5,000 kids, so there should be small class sizes and lots of professor interaction. My current major is Computer Science, but I'm looking to pick up a major/minor in art or Interactive Media. Most of the classes I'm enrolled in now are gen ed, though. Like my Bio 101 class - our textbook is titled Genetics, though, so I think I'm going to love it. x3

Of course, I know that. But metal is still not his style. No type of metal actually... sadly. He doesn't like loud music, and he actually doesn't listen to much music at all. (Which I will forever find incredibly weird... xD) I personally adore symphonic metal. He's also a pretty talented writer. :)

I love plush coats, but I generally love german shepherds. I know someone who had this big beautiful boy that was a fidelco dog. He was a plush coat and actually was the size of a small bear. xD He was a therapy dog and just the sweetest, sweetest dog.

An emotional support animal is a new term, I think. And it is used to describe what I said. People bring dogs into stores a lot and they most definitely aren't service animals. Just peoples pets. xD And in Massachusetts, I was in the "rich" suburbs, so if you were to do that you'd get sued up the wazoo for kicking a service dog out.

I know that Shika (and Gracie) were wanting to roleplay with you some. :)
Why thank you. :)

I'm referring to when the cancer causing the tumor gets into the blood stream and travels through the body. (Septic > septic tanks > pipes) Because he's younger, it might actually be better to do it now. If it is a dangerous form a cancer, it could go away if the tumor is removed as soon as possible. If it doesn't even spread, his life wouldn't be shortened. But you really don't know until it's too late with the little guys, from my experience. It's your choice about what to do. We've done both. I can't say that I have a preference either way.

Yes... he has long, curly, auburn-ish colored hair. He's not even a rocker or anything. He likes really melodic music. xD He's very sweet. I have no idea what his thing about the long hair is... He's a very caring guy though. Definitely one of the decent guys out there. He's also decently religious without being one of those scary religious people that (at least I feel) take it so far that they become hypocritical. I love that he's religious though. Super respectful and all that. He's planning on becoming pharmacist and a volunteer firefighter. :) He actually already works as a junior fireman and police officer. He does EMT type stuff and is also a trained lifeguard, so if there is a drowning or something he goes and retrieves the person for the paramedics and if the paramedics aren't there yet he does resuscitation. I'm sure he'll cut his hair when he's older. xD

You can already see some fuzz behind his ears, but because it's a long stock coat and not a plush coat it's harder to tell. His brother has a plush coat and you can definitely tell. xD He's 15 weeks this weekend.

I read that a dog that isn't trained to provide any task would technically fall under "emotional support animal". Which do have their own rights, but they aren't service animals and don't require any specific training. Although they do have to be "prescribed" by a doctor. I looked this all up because I've been considering a service dog for myself and was going to bring it up with my doctor. And legally, I do believe they must be "trained" to do one task the person with the certified disability is unable to do because of said disability. They don't have to be officially registered, but if an officer or such were to ask how the dog was trained then he/she would be required to do so. Of course, this hardly, if ever, happens because of lawsuit fears and such. I was confused when you mentioned that people get thrown out of stores for having a service animal. I haven't ever really heard of that. At least not in my area. If anything, people were lying about their dog being a service animal. The owners wouldn't ever question someone about something like that. Once again, for lawsuits. I doubt it would happen here in Montana either.

Nope. No markings in particular. I do like the idea of a nice sable. Chances are if you go for more extensive markings with varying opacities then there won't be another dog out there just like it.

We've had surgery for some. If the tumor has gone septic, then it won't be successful. Other times it will be successful. I've never actually heard of a gerbil dying during scent gland surgery (when done by an experienced small animal surgeon).

Lol. I don't think my mother would mind. xD When I was little, my best friend was always over my house. And I've had friends through the years that are practically live-in friends. Haha.

I still definitely have feelings for him. And honestly, he'd probably make the "ideal" husband. He's the sweetest guy I know and is super respectful. The only thing my mom didn't like what his hair being "long". Could never convince him to cut it short for a test run. I wanted him to get a crew cut because they're super cute. xD Oh well.

She was murdered on July 3rd. It's possibly that he had some psychological problems. He's being held without bail until his probable cause hearing.

Fila was gorgeous. <3

Well, we rescued him. We do know that his father is a Czech though. A very handsome guy from what I've heard. The rescue had his father, but he was adopted quickly. His mother is still there. She's a gorgeous black long stock coat. Chances are Bogart may turn out to be a long stock coat, but we won't know for sure until he grows up. I did research on service dogs, and I thought in order for a dog to be a service dog the person in possession of the dog must have a certified disability and the dog (or any animal) must be "trained" to help said person in one task. Many animals qualify without any such training (like cats who can sense when people with debilitating headaches are going to get one).

There is one kitten we have our eye on, but we're afraid she'll be gone before we can get her. She has been there for a while though. I'm shocked no one has adopted her. She's the little sweetest girl.

Bogart is super good with other animals. He's good with cats, dogs (including small dogs), donkeys, horses, chickens, etc. We haven't introduced him to the chinchillas yet, but I feel like he'll be fine with them. His prey drive is very low (but he is highly motivated by play, pets, and food).

There is an amazing Marine Biology program at a Maine college. I can't remember the name, sadly.

What kind of suggestions? I, personally, am a fan of the more natural looking dogs like Fila. They can be so striking especially if they aren't "simple" like you find with the foundation GSDs. Sort of like Fila and how she has the varied markings. Gracie actually helped me out with her because I couldn't figure the white out.

How old is he? I don't advise people to put gerbils down as it's very difficult (because of their size) and rather painful for the animal's last moments... I just advise pain meds and antibiotics to keep it from being excruciating for the animal.

I don't really like Florida. My friend is from there. It's okay, but Montana is much more to my liking.

He was more upset over it than I was. I think he's still mad about it. He's in Europe right now. I feel super guilty about breaking up with him because I don't even have a good reason. I might end up getting back with him. I'm not sure... It's wasn't a bad split, and we split with the idea that we might get back together when the time is right and our circumstances are different. He's a grade below me, so maybe after he graduates.

Yeah... she was actually murdered. Probably by her ex-boyfriend (who I also know). It's a little tough to wrap my head around.

Yup. Her name was Fila. :3 I made my first (and currently only) custom in her image.

I plan on doing a lot with him, and he has that personality. He's highly trainable. We might start with tracking. Then I might work with him on Skijoring. :3 I've even considered therapy work or training him to be a psychological service dog if I end up needing one. He's just an amazing little boy.

I've already picked out our future kittens names. We want to get two girls, but if we don't I have a backup name for the non-unisex name. Arlee and Santana are the top name. :3 If we end up getting two boys, instead of Arlee we're going to go with Arlo and Santana. :3

We're actually also going to get another dog once Bogart is a little older. And when one in the shelter catches our eye.

I'm majoring in Wildlife Biology, and I'm considering a dual major in either Photography or Psychology (which I might minor in anyways).

That's very cool! I'm jealous. Scent gland tumors are very common in male gerbils, sadly. I've found that some turn septic and are terminal whereas some are harmless. I've been busy since graduating high school. A lot has happened. I moved out to Montana with my family. It's gorgeous around here. I broke up with my boyfriend. A girl I graduated with passed away. That was hard because I couldn't go for her memorial service... The chinchillas are doing good. One sadly passed away suddenly. We found out a few weeks prior that he had a heart condition. We believe he had a heart attack. The others are doing wonderful though. My dog was put to sleep. One of her lungs collapsed. Her other was about to collapse at any moment, so we put her to sleep. When we got to Montana, we ended up adopting a German Shepherd puppy. We named him Bogart after Humphrey Bogart. He's a little angel. We're going to adopt two kittens soon and raise them with him, but our house is getting worked on right now. So... yeah. I went to college orientation. That was funny. Yup. That's about it... Past few months of my life in a nutshell.

Well, hello there!

My summer has been excellent. I did visit Cape Cod, and just a week ago I visited Texas to see my paternal extended family. I love catching up with those cousins, they're all interesting and easy to get along with.
For the most part, though, I've been hanging out with friends online and messing around with characters all summer.

Man, that must have been a fun month in Europe! Did you go with family or friends? I bet you saw a lot of great places. :) Do you speak any German or Italian? If I remember, you love learning foreign languages?
Ah, moving. John-dear has had some moving stress as well. I can imagine how hectic that would be. I love empty houses, though; fantastic for playing capture the flag or just goofing around with somersaults.

I'm glad your critters are doing well. :3 Cancer and tumors seem to be a common occurrence with rodents, though. :< I hope the tumor behaves itself.
I think we've spoken since my last rat passed? I really miss having rodents, haha. My college dorm doesn't even allow a solitary fish. ^^; I've had a mouse visitor for two nights in a row, and I'm trying to catch him so I can release him in a park. He's so adorable.

Ellie is about knee-height now, and she seems to be done growing. I love having her around. <3 She's still very energetic and can get bitey, but for the most part she's a lovely dog. She's recently started shedding a ton, odd for the middle of summer - and it's been a scorcher this year. x_x
Sox still won't go near Ellie. ^^; Other than that, she's well. She's useless as a mouser though, haha.

Right now, I'm gearing up for college. I'll be a freshman this coming semester. :3 Mom has gone into a panic mode - she's freaking out about buying me everything I need for the dorm. My college is 3 hours away, so a decent drive and we'd like to get everything right the first time, haha.

Haha, yes :) I am using it in that way. Crevan is my character who shape shifts into a fox xD I actually got him the name before I gave him a shift, though, I found it after hours of looking... it was one of those moments where you're like "That's the one I want!"

Thank you! :D

Ummm... That sucks though that you need to purchase more episodes.

Oh gosh, losing roleplay intros was always the worst. Dx Sometimes I remember to copy 'n paste the long posts before I submit them, but I never seem to remember when I actually need it. Usually I have to step away from the computer out of sadness when the Internet eats my posts like that.
Usually hitting ctrl+z undoes the deleting I accidentally do. On Firefox it does. <3

D'you have any stuffed animals? :3 I ask because my room still cradles 100-some stuffed animals. I have far more of them than models.
And they all have names, many have characters, and I love them all. >,> Come to think of it, the stuffed animals are probably the first form of story writing and roleplaying I did. My sister and I would weave stories with them, as is common with little kids and dolls.

Easter was nice. :) And kind of break from the normal is rather pleasant. My family isn't very religious, but we did all spend Easter together. We had delicious ham and cheesy potatoes and strawberry stuff. Strawberries are my favorite!
Euchre. <3 It's funny; my mom's side of the family plays Shanghai rummy like crazy, but my dad's side is big on hand and foot. I dunno if you've played those games, but the strategies are basically complete opposites. :) Going between the families is amusing in terms of game playing.

Didja get them from referrals? :) It's really nice to get long-term referred players. I've gotten some Magical items that way, and like you, I'm very particular about where to use them. I still have a few stashed away.

No, I don't own any i-products, actually. Is that like a mystery game? :o
(04-29-2011 at 10:43 PM)
Johndeer
OMG. This game is so addicting. I love it. I've died, like, 8 times. I have a tendency to take the risky moves... all the time. xD
(04-28-2011 at 11:33 PM)
Johndeer
Hmmm... I'm currently on Chapter 3. :D I have work to do, so I'm gonna have less time to play it. :(
(04-28-2011 at 10:53 PM)
Johndeer
Lol. What part did it happen in? xD

I don't really like Angry Birds, actually... I really like Tilt to Live, Air Assault, Traffic Rush, Radiant, and Veggie Samurai. :3

I also really like Shadow Runner, GloBall, Little Metal Ball, Mr. AahH!!, and Spider.
(04-28-2011 at 10:34 PM)
Johndeer
Ooo. Now my mind is trying to guess. xD

Some of the iPod games are seriously awesome. I def am addicted to some.

Yes. It is healthy. xD

Omg. I got it and I absolutely adore it! I was so happy with the person from the FBI. Totally reminded me of Criminal Minds. I'm still on the first story, but it's soooo fun!

Johndeer
I do happen to have an iPod Touch. I won it from my school for free. :D I will certainly take a look at it!
(04-27-2011 at 5:10 AM)
Gracie
Gooosh, that's like when you make an excellent roleplay post and your Internet decides to die upon hitting "send." D; Once, Ala died on one of my scribbles to you, but hitting refresh two hours later resent it properly. Thank goodness.
So, my condolences for your re-typing.

I fought Facebook tooth and nail, and I still dislike it. I'm against anything on the Internet that requires you to disclose your identity. To me, Internet = anonymous. Or at least, it should be your own choice whether or not to disclose information.
But, I did finally see the value of Facebook for keeping in touch with people who don't live in your state. People you can't see ever few months. Of course, as with texting and e-mailing, I failed miserably at keeping in touch with my relatives through Facebook. Turns out it's my fault and not the tools I attempt to keep in touch with. ;)
I also just saw a news snippet today that Facebook is adding a feature where you can send "posts" or whatever they are only to select people.... that sounds like it has the potential to really increase gossiping. :( I'm worried; bullying online is already pretty bad, and now it's that much easier to talk behind a friend's back.

I love model animals. :) I have this really gorgeous, detailed gryphon figurine. I named him Mao after Mao Zedong (yup, I'm a nerd). I also have a less detailed dragon model that mom gave me because I insisted that, rather than a pony, I wanted a dragon. Now I have one. xD

I hope your Easter was good! :D Haha, when I read The King's Speech my eyes focused in on King and I thought you meant Stephen King for a moment. I love his work. Anyway, I spent Easter with my immediate family. My older brother came home from college, and we played a game of euchre.

Haha, I do maxing with the Trainer Perk and a Scholar Collar. x3 Even that takes a long time with TPs as high as Tabassum. I decided to max her sister, Naga, by hand. Around 1500TP is when I consider using a Magical Water Bowl, and after 2500 I definitely do. x3 My breeding line is just now getting up to those points, so I think I'll have to start picking and choosing who I actually want to keep breeding. My budget wouldn't stretch far enough to keep breeding after the 2000 line...

But pups with about 800TP and up make tons of money trialing. :o I was really surprised when I started trialing everyone by how quick it can add up.

.... what? There are religious aspects of meditating and yoga? I can understand meditating, but... yoga? That makes zero sense to me and I've never even heard of that. And I'm fairly religious (er- rather... spiritual. I don't really like most organized religions.). Also, there are idols with yoga? Since when...? That's so weird... I have never, ever heard of that. Ever.

My mind is far from sound. xD

It's better than befriending the voices in your head...? I did that. :x
(04-24-2011 at 6:07 AM)
Johndeer
I slur like a drunk person. :x

Because mediating is really good with helping yourself relax. It's way better than yoga... Yoga stresses me out.

Yeah. I tend not to worry about speech and stuff. I more so worry about what's going on in my head. >.>
(04-24-2011 at 5:33 AM)
Johndeer
I don't really notice it with my friends. I just slur my words together and they kind of blend. It's not when I talk fast... it's just normal. But I also change my speech patterns involuntarily a lot (including tone). Something sort of "triggers" it, but I'm not really sure why.

Do you meditate by any chance?

I'm not sure if what you're describing is actually stuttering. It seems normal to me. My stuttering is due to being unable to continue rather than not finding the right word. I know exactly what I want to say, I just can't seem to say it. I wouldn't even be able to say "uh" after. I literally have to consciously stop making any noise and start over. Mine is just a type of stuttering. Stuttering includes all involuntary speech repetition or inability to create/continue speech.

I miss rping with you. T.T -random-
(04-24-2011 at 4:52 AM)
Johndeer
Oh, well, I slur my words when I talk normally. I just naturally have slurred speech. You shake? I shake my foot a lot when I'm sitting. I have some difficulty sitting still, but as long as part of me is moving I can manage for hours. But I'll literally just keep repeating a word over and over until I get to the point that I have to pause and start over or I will just keep on saying the word over and over. An example: "I really like like like like like" then I have to pause and start over slower "I really like that shirt I got at Bob's".
(04-24-2011 at 4:37 AM)
Johndeer
All our Italian family friends always try and feed me. :3 They will literally cook or bake me ANYTHING to get me to eat. lol.

I actually stutter. Not the most common way of stuttering. Instead of involuntary syllable repetition, I'll either repeat the whole word involuntary multiple times (I think my "record" is around 10) and involuntary pauses during speech. It normally only happens to me when I get really excited or eager instead of being nervous or something. I just get so excited. :3
(04-24-2011 at 3:56 AM)
Johndeer
I love Italian people... it's an odd obsession. I would love to be Italian... but I'm not. T.T My dream is to marry an Italian South African or Italian Australian... as unlikely as that is. :( Or you know... I could always marry someone I love. xD

I really want to see that movie. My friend stutters (although... I didn't notice until this year when she pointed it out... and I've known her for, like, 5 years. xD).

No one's ever completely happy with their own artwork. :P It seems like the longer you look at a piece, the more "flaws" you uncover. But I really like it, and I'm completely unbiased. ;)

Argh, I'm already bad at keeping in touch with people. I finally joined Facebook to try to keep in touch with my distant relatives, but I never get on anymore. (And of course, the longer I go without getting on, the more I dread finally logging in and having a million things to look at.)
Yeah, I still like receiving greeting cards and such. ^^ We got a really cute, humorous one from my favorite aunt and uncle yesterday. It was for Easter.
99% of the snail mail I get now, though, is from colleges. I mean, I'm practically decided on where I'm going, but I'm still getting pamphlets from places I've never heard of.

Pssh, 13 feet of shark is no real difference. xD
Youch, swimming with a Man of War is not on my list of good ideas! That really would've gotten my heart racing.
Speaking of Man of Wars, on my way to Gatlinburg for spring break, we passed an exit in Kentucky for a street named Man of War. I asked Dad why they would name a street after a "jellyfish" in Kentucky, and I felt silly when he told me it was a famous racehorse's name.

Are you doing some family visiting over Easter? :) Well, I'll keep that in mind when I see you online but not responding to me. ;) Nah, I'm not actually that much of a stalker - I don't look to see when people are online.

I see you finally snatched one of my puppies. :) *hugs Tabassum*

Eeeee, Kenya! :D Your shading is so excellent! And the skintone is fine; Kenya is Indian, but I never really settled on exactly how dark his skin is. His green eyes are lovely, too. And his age is fine - after all, Kenya is still Kenya at any age! He's one of the characters I've actually worked a solid backstory in.
Yeah, once I start procrastinating on a picture, it just snowballs. D; I ended up doing an at-home Independent Study in Art project in two days once.

I'll keep far away from Clorox, then!

Doodle was really happy to have your good wishes. ^^ She didn't realize I was chatting with you again yet. She also sends her hello!

Honestly, I'm much happier this year with fewer real life friends. My online friends are so wonderful that they fill most of the friendship needs I'd have. And even when I go out of state for college, it'll be a simple matter to keep in touch with you 'n Jandee 'n everyone else. Even Shika, because although she's a real life friend, we talk online far more often. (I did begin Wednesday Walks with her, though, so I can see her at least once a week. We'll be on WWIIIII next week.)

Tigershark, dogfish... what's the difference? :D Heheh, honestly, I'm more afraid of stepping on crabs than sharks in the shallows. Crab pinches can sting. And I once had a brush with a jellyfish, that wasn't fun. My brother got the truly bad deal - he was bodysurfing with his arms out, and it stung his armpit!

As much as I love beaches, I don't think I'd want one for a wedding. A honeymoon, however, would be lovely on a beach! ^^- Haha, I want my honeymoon to be at Cape Cod. xD

Yay Arson! *snuggles*

But that's what the pup predictor is for. ^^- Plus, every refresh of a pup predict is another chance at a random event. ;)

I have my great grand-father's airforce jacket. It's awesome, but kinda big. xD I have a military inspired dress and I adore it.

I don't like the ones that are stuck up. The only two I really, really love are Seth Aaron and Mondo. They were both constantly good and definitely had their own styles, which I liked. They were also willing to push boundaries. Seth has some really amazing jackets that I would KILL to have.
(04-23-2011 at 4:31 AM)
Johndeer
I used to care less about fashion, but now I'm sorta into it. I like really avant garde, punk, military-inspired clothing. My favorite designer is by far Seth Aaron. He was on Project Runway and I am in love. He also wears skinny jeans. lol.
(04-23-2011 at 4:07 AM)
Johndeer
What is the correct body type for skinny jeans? (I honestly don't know...) I just get told I look good in them.
(04-23-2011 at 3:48 AM)
Johndeer
They're the only jeans I wear... They are more comfy than other jeans on me and fit me better. Plus, they look awesome. My friend started wearing them because I looked so awesome in them. xD

Johndeer
Resort to what things? They are super comfy.

It's bad for you to wander off without your mother! :P

CSI freaks me out... NCIS and Criminals Minds don't though. I watch them before bed almost every single night.
(04-23-2011 at 3:10 AM)
Johndeer
Lol. Men in peacoats always make me giggle. Well... where was your mother? xD

NCIS is amazing. <3 I also adore Criminal Minds though.
(04-23-2011 at 2:57 AM)

I get judged all the time by business men and their rich little wives. But I'm from a rather well-to-do area. When I go to the fancy stores at the mall, the workers look like I'm about to steal something at any moment. Even though I'm from one of the richest towns in Mass... I just look like a bad child, I suppose. xD

I think of the NCIS episode with the human chop shop.

Yeah... it's nasty. I couldn't believe he was a coach when I saw.
(04-23-2011 at 2:40 AM)
Johndeer
I think the sketchiest areas are the places with all the creepy business men and the areas with the creepy garages.

Lol. I always hit below the belt, that's for sure. xD

All the sketchy older men always go for me for some reason. The T was packed yesterday, so I didn't want to freak anyone out, to be honest. Even worse, he had a sweatshirt on that said "Coach ___" apparently. He's the coach for some school's track team... gross. I kind of wish I'd said something, but... yeah... Actually, from how he was acting at first I thought that maybe he just had some mental disability, but he went from acting odd to acting completely normal... So I don't really know what that was about.

Lol. It's okay. I act possessed, too. Just apparently in a sketchy way. I wasn't even wearing my thick black eyeliner!
(04-23-2011 at 2:01 AM)
Johndeer
I live in the "sketchy" area of my town. xD

The only reason I hate waiting for the bus I usually take in Brookline is because it's sorta back a little under this abandoned overhead bridge. It's pretty sketch because someone could just grab you and pull you behind and no one would be
able to see you. x.x

Same. The Green Line is nothing to me. Although, I was on it yesterday coming back home and some guy was staring at my legs and grinning in the most pervy way. The business people on the Green Line are the ones I don't like the most though. Lots of them just stare straight ahead like they're possessed. xD Haha.

The lady looked so paranoid. xD
(04-22-2011 at 7:54 PM)
Johndeer
Yeah, Anacostia is a no-no.

Brookline is pretty safe, but there are definitely sketchy areas. The thing with Boston is that you can't say a whole area is bad. There are basically parts of every area that are bad. Southie has it's bad parts. The South End is pretty well known for being dangerous at night for females. Dorchester is known to be bad, but there are some really safe, rich places that are part of it. But then again there is crime in the Back Bay and everything. It's all about very specific areas instead of neighborhoods. I feel more creeped out waiting for the 66 bus by Brookline Village to head into Roxbury then waiting for the 66 bus in Roxbury to head out toward Brookline Village. And then there is how comfortable you are with the area. I'm perfectly fine with riding the Green Line (the only other line I'm willing to ride alone would be the Blue Line), but I know people would wouldn't step foot on the Green line because of the people who ride it. Although, last time I was on the Green line some lady kept looking at me like I was going to pull out a gun any second and shoot up the place. xD

Ooh, I'm excited to see the picture. ^^- The last one of Kenya you showed me was so good! I hope you live up to your old standards. ;)

Yum, jelly bean goo! :D We'll stain your clothes forever~! I could never be "stuck" with you, either; you're always good company. (Well, I suppose if we're jelly beans we're all stuck to each other...)
Oh, Doodle is doing fine. I could tell her you say hi? She's entering a rather girly stage that I never went through, but overall I can't complain, haha.

Yeah, an unplanned meeting would definitely be an "it's a small world" moment. I've had some of those with people knowing other people, but never with Internet people.
I've gotten over some of my shyness over the past five years. Well, I don't want to say "gotten over" - it's not like it's a phase anyone should get out of. But, while I'm definitely still an introvert, I don't have the same fear of talking to other people in classes or hallways. Though ironically, I have less friends than ever. xD /my own fault
And I'd be thrilled for you to call me Gracie in real life. ^^

Heheh, I feel lucky for not having the common fear of sharks. I mean, if I saw one up close I wouldn't be so pleased, but sharks are a really small risk compared to almost anything else... especially cars. Cars are dangerous. o_0 Anyway, I've caught a dogfish (type of small shark) before during a boating/fishing excursion, and that was kind of neat.
Yeah, something tells me real belugas would be bigger and less pixel-y than Zoo Tycoon. x3

My cousin had a wedding last summer, so I got a feel for what having all my family at a wedding would be like. I think it was sort of a medium wedding... I didn't know that cousin very well, so most of the guests were strangers. The bride's family was really nice, though.
Gosh, I don't know if I want church or... or maybe outside in the spring or summer!

Yay Arson! *pets* My first dog, Kashi, has also been immortalized - she even has the honorary first kennel slot. :D
And I would be thrilled to breed you whoever you want, it wouldn't be any trouble. x3 That offer will always stand!

thank you :)

Well, the part I went to used to be HORRIBLE, but now it's being gentrified. So, it's much better. I was in Roxbury. Overall, it's pretty nice. But there are areas with a bunch of garages and they're major sketch. Not to mention I get weird looks for being the only white person who actually walks (instead of having a car or riding a bike). It's one of the 3rd worst places in Boston (along with Mattapan and Dorchester). There were protests in Roxbury today, actually. But most of the violence in those areas of Boston are gang related or personal, so a regular person is pretty safe (except at night).
(04-22-2011 at 1:28 AM)

I've been in Boston for the past four days. Of course, I've been going to a "bad" part of Boston. xD

Heh, yeah, with a few of my teachers they understand that when I want to go to the bathroom I actually need to, and it's not just some friend I have to text. But then again, I've always felt there's a difference between being friendly with your teachers and being a teacher's pet. I feel like teacher's pets do more sucking up. Not that I go as far to condemn that, I'd much rather see a hundred teacher's pets than a class full of rowdy, disrespectful kids (*cough my Creative Writing class cough*).

Little jelly beans. x3 I just feel so lucky that I was able to keep in frequent touch with Jandee and Missy (and Shika, but she lives five minutes away so it's sort of a given). I wish I could see you just as often. D; *hugs* Not that I'm insulted that your real life is busier than your computer life, but when I think about the good ole days on Vchins, I always miss you a bit.

I think the shock factor of seeing a virtual friend face-to-face would be somewhat fun. x3 But then again, you've gotta be careful what you wish for; some of the details you'd been imagining for so long could be totally wrong. Or sometimes people act differently online than in the real world. I think I'm generally the same... I try to write as I speak, so it ends up long-winded and rambly.
Sheesh, my first name is so common that no one would ever find me with just that. x3 I try not to let it slip, though, because I don't like it very much... I much prefer Gracie. I've even considered going by Gracie in the real world (some of my extended family calls me that), but I wonder if it wouldn't be that special a nickname anymore if I used it in the real world and online.

There are always waves on Nauset when we go in late June, but never that big! :O Usually we just play "who can stay in longest" types of games, but some years I've actually gone swimming - which hurts less than standing because those darn stones on the bottom pelt your feet if they're touching the ground. One year, my older cousin and I got in and out and in and out over an hour, and when we finally had enough our lips were blue. ^^
Yes, a seal! ^,^ My aunt and uncle have all kinds of cool wildlife stories; they kayak all the time. Once, they kayaked near some beluga whales. They told me they once saw a pod of Portuguese Man of Wars!

Virtual wedding invitation! :D I'll hold ya to that. Gosh, I've barely imagined my own wedding guest list. I know I'd prefer a smaller wedding, though. And I don't want to wear a white dress, white is so boring. :| Either blue, which I really like, or peach, which I really look good in.

Haha, yeah, I can't believe I had the patience to train dogs without the Trainer perk before. x3 And your profile looks very good with the Breeder perk. It makes your info and your scribbles more lined up, except for when I post huge messages to your scribbles. ;)
I have two more litters coming late today and tomorrow; I'm super excited. x3 And heheh, if you like a certain dog I'd be happy to breed a litter for you. I have so many girls that it's too hard to breed them all the time, but most of 'em have great pup potential.

Cherry and strawberry the best, tied in my opinion. The other two I don't really like. Lemon before orange.

I'm so sorry... hopefully you'll enjoy the single life. You were too good for you computer anyways.

Your color-connections are odd. Green is envy! I have a very strong connection with that. Blue is sadness, yet rather joyful (you got this one right). Yellow is the color of pure happiness associated with the sun shinning in the summer. Red is is classy, like you said. M&Ms don't look like any animal pellets that my pets have, so... don't remind me of that, at all. Brown is a very earthy, natural color. Orange is a very unpleasant color for me unless it leans toward yellow, in which case it is happy, but pure orange makes me want to dive under a bench. I really mostly just like cool colors.
(04-21-2011 at 5:47 AM)
Johndeer
Noooo! Green isn't number 1! It can only be blue! Yellow is kind of happy. The brown ones I actually kind of like now. They're sorta extra chocolatey.
(04-21-2011 at 5:39 AM)
Johndeer
Lol. I only stalk two of my friends cause they're amazing <3 And they would expect no less from me. xD

Without any doubt, blue are the best. Second best we debated about though. I say red, she says green. Red is too "normal" she says, but I think of it as the "classic". Green we decided as 2nd/3rd best (her and me respectively). Orange is the worst.
(04-21-2011 at 5:17 AM)

Lol. Gracie was trying to get me to stalk her. xDD My friend and I had an in-depth conversation on which color M&Ms are the best.

I love how long our scribbles to each other are. <3

Haha, yep, total teacher's pet. ;D I honestly enjoy having a relationship with most of my teachers - the nice and interesting ones, anyway.

But why would a true stalker want to team-stalk? :o Then there's less of you to go around! Logic, my dear.
Aww, a rottie puppy. ^^- Sassy really was a nice person.
That's a very safe fear to have! I'm also very cautious about revealing real world knowledge of me online... though admittedly, over the last few years I've grown more lax. But after, what, 7 years? I'm sure Jandee isn't lying about who she is. Or heck, if she is, she deserves to fool me after all that time! Joking, of course.

Searching out anything becomes a ton more fun on the beach. Like, I still enjoy collecting seashells when I go (I even arranged some of them on the top shelf of my bookcase). And yeah, Nauset is freezing cold; we always have a bagel breakfast one morning at Nauset, and us kids usually have a "who can stay in the water longest" contest. One year, it was only my step-cousin-once-removed (or something) and I left in the water up to our waists, and a seal surfaced about fifteen feet in front of us.

I don't enjoy conventional romantic roleplays, but when you have the right character chemistry, it's just a blast. Missy and I have two pairings that we just have so much fun with. One pair can banter back and forth for hours, and the other are playful but rather sweet. Haha, we've done more talking about their pairings than actually roleplaying them (talking and plotting are much faster than actually roleplaying, after all).
My friend and I once devised my "clueless about romance forever" theoretical future... in college, I would think I was best friends with this guy, but he thought (and by societal standards) we were dating, and he'd propose to me and I'd still have no idea it was a romantic relationship.

Yay for the Trainer perk! You'll get lots of training done now. ;) The upgrade is a good deal, too, considering the monthly items you get.
Yes, I've really been working with my Sheltie line. x3 I just love breeding them. I think Slate, Fletcher, and Marc are my favorites.

(04-21-2011 at 12:21 AM)
Johndeer
Anyways, so, how have you been?
(04-20-2011 at 2:29 PM)
Gracie
Heh, I've tried to do a few realistic humans in Independent Study in Art this year, and they always take on a cartoon-ish edge. But honestly, that's not so bad; my teacher told me she liked the "animated style" I had (she even sought me out to create the front of a thank-you card for our student teacher). I tried to draw Keniichi, a newer character, with his border collie Kashi, and they both ended up a little cartoon-y... I guess that's what I get for outlining in pen, but watercolor is difficult on its own!
Very few of my characters look like me, haha, but most have an aspect of my personality. I did create a character, EV, intending for her to be plain looking, and she resembles me some.
And nope, I won't stalk you. ;) Much too busy on the Internet to leave my computer and stalk someone.

After college, I really want to buy a chinchilla from Jandee, so then I would get to meet one of my online friends. ^^-
Ooh, lucky. Well, I'll be in Cape Cod around the 4th of July again. Fireworks on the sandbar are awesome, and then all the little cousins scamper around looking for all the fireworks shrapnel. The waters will be warmer by then, too, so we can do some swimming.

I'm hoping I can set up a nice budget plan and be super organized to pay bills and all that jazz.
Haha, I like all the lovely-dovey courting when it's in books or even roleplays, but when it comes to myself, I'm hopelessly unromantic. I can't even imagine kissing or holding hands with someone, let alone having a family with a guy. But I do like children; oh, the conflicting desires.

The Trainer perk is 100% worth it. It doubles the effectiveness of your training sessions, so you cut the time it takes to max a dog in half (plus you get 20 more sessions a day). And if you have a scholar collar, that stacks with the trainer perk, so you quadruple the effectiveness of your sessions. The Breeder perk is nice if you do a lot of breeding and want high TP; I like it because my goal on Ala is to see how high I can breed my Shelties' TPs to before it's unmanageable and I give up. If you don't breed often, I'd save the bones.

Woooo. Eyes. <333
(04-20-2011 at 4:25 AM)
Gracie
Of course I'd like to see any of your drawings, especially Kenya. ^^- And hey, I don't need Michelangelo's skills; honestly, he's not my favorite artist (which started a big debate in my history class once). And gosh, did people pick celebrity faces to represent characters back on Vchins? I don't remember seeing that until Wajas. I've always thought it was... odd. I can never associate my characters with a real human. But Missy and Jandee both use photos sometimes, and it does kind of help with drawing. ^^;

Oh yeah, I remember now - we've both been to Cape Cod in the past. :3 Gosh, it would be funny to run into you there. But surely you must admit that beach wildlife, beach grasses, and tide pools make the rest of the beach tolerable? (I'm actually a fan of really soft, white sand to dig my feet in, too.)

Childhood, where have you gone? D; Not all of my childhood was great... I should go back and re-do those parts, haha. Still, I am looking forward to the freedom and responsibility that come with adulthood. I can picture myself living in a nice, little apartment with a rat 'n a cat for most of my life. And possibly a family, but I'm still not big on romance yet.

To be fair, I wouldn't want people using my expensive plane either. Actually, I don't even like people touching my tablet and that was only a few hundred. ^^; But theoretically, if there's demand for low-cost plane rentals, it would be a good business venture. Maybe you can time-share a plane, haha.

Heh, I should take a standing view of her. I even have a camera now, but I never remember to do these things.

Palm trees, hmm. Sounds much warmer than anywhere I've lived. Beaches I could enjoy, warm weather and hurricanes not so much. Though honestly, I prefer northern beaches to palm tree beaches. They tend to be less tourist-infested.

It feels too early to choose a career, does it not? D: Gosh, if only I could have two or three careers... among yours, though, could you get a pilot license just for a hobby? I wonder, can you rent planes to fly, or are most hobby pilots rich people who own planes?

Boston is a nice place, as far as cities go; my uncle gave me a tour last summer. I'm all for teaching English in foreign countries - actually, my Japanese teacher did that for a year (in Japan, naturally), and she really enjoyed it.

I know what you mean about family connections... I would feel weird playing that card. I suppose once I used my Dad's chemist job to supply pH strips for a science fair project, haha. But I think getting a tour of a company is a pretty harmless connection.

No pressure to help or anything, but she's a cutie so I had to show her off. ;)

Hi again! Seeing a message from you was the whipped cream on top of a really good day. ^^- Haha, if you keep your visits rare, everyone appreciates them more. ;) Though I shouldn't say that since I'd love to see you stick around.

Theoretically, you can look up information on FIRST Robotics events on their website. Gosh, I'm rather sad that our season ended! I'm hoping to become a mentor to a team after college.

Aww, it can't be the worst state since Cheetah is in it, though! D; Hmm, are you getting closer to college age yet? You could always go out of state for college. That's what I'm doing - I'll probably be attending a college in Illinois, but I'm on the waitlist for my first choice over in Pittsburgh.

Ooh, I'm going to have to Google Raydon. Thanks for that gem of knowledge. ^^-

I think the biggest thing in my life is that we got a new puppy over Christmas. :3 She's oh-so-adorable, if a little bite-y, and I now get exercise walking her every other day.
Actually, how would you like a little canine puzzle to solve? Our little Ellie is a mixed breed, and the rescue we adopted her from said she was a lab-shepherd mix. But she's only this big and done growing, and I'm starting to doubt there's any lab in her. She sits like this all the time. I figure there has to be hound or terrier in her to cause those speckle markings on her paws and belly. Also, she has incredible prey drive and a keen nose.

Heya! Yay, you're back :D It's been a while since I was into the elvish stuff, I can't remember what I said lol. Unfortunately real life has got in the way--along with French homework (why don't they teach Sindarin classes?!). I haven't read anything LOTR related for a while and I'm feeling the need to get back into it soon... and yes, I used to speak Sindarin a little, never just off the top of my head though. I learned some greetings and common phrases and even a few insults lol.
(02-5-2011 at 10:50 PM)
Gracie
Yeah, it has been a while. I was hoping you'd come back someday. :> But real life comes first, I totally understand.
I'm busy irl right now with FIRST robotics. We're halfway through our 6-week build season, so we're spending 3-4 hours a day at school working on the robot (or in my division's case, the animation). I can barely be online during weekdays... except this week, whatwith all the crazy snow days. I live in the midwest, and we're not used to being hammered like this.
Thanks! My kennel is big now, huh? Being here so long will do that. :P If you need help re-adjusting, I'm happy to assist. Did you know that Huskies are the next planned breed for March?

It would make me happy to receive a happy birthday from ya. ^^- I'm pushing mom to let me go to Six Flags for my birthday gift, so that would be super exciting... I've never been there before.

I have no idea what's up with Vchins. I was momentarily thrilled when I learned they were redoing their site - I thought, y'know, it would be a nice makeover and things would be smoother. But half a year after them doing that, the default images are still up, banner says New Year's, and everything is a mess... I mean, I didn't log in at all, but yeah... Try not to worry about the items/chins, even though I relate that some are sentimental, but losing old messages sucks. :| If it's important, you could always ask if that's backed up somewhere.

I'm procrastinating for another few hours before I answer all my long overdue e-mail messages. :P Including, but not limited to, RSPVing no to a party, stopping a roleplay, replying to my adopt business partner, and assuring my aunt (genuinely) that I'm happy to be going to her house tomorrow. I shouldn't have left this stuff for so long. xD

Yup, we're in the same account now and stuff! But both of us are getting really busy, haha. Our joined forces are less active than plenty of single people. xD

I'm dreading my birthday this year. v_v I pretty much just lost all of my real life friends - not in a fight, just sort of... they don't pay attention to me anymore. I haven't heard from any of them but one for a month now. I'm not sure which will be worse - not getting a happy birthday or getting a happy birthday from them. v__v But, I did just find out I'll be at my cousin's wedding in Ohio on my birthday. xD So that's fun?
Nah, it's fine, keep it! I got three at once (referral gifts for keeping people around for 60 days xD), and I used one on Kashi, gave one to you, and might end up gifting the third too. :P

Don't feel too bad about leaving people waiting; in my experience, the more guilty you feel, the less likely you are to fix it. Guild is a funny emotion.

Yeah, I'd love that! Always good to see more friendly faces on the sites I love. ^^- I'unno if you know anything about sharing accounts? Shika and I are going to share my account on Aywas starting from whenever we stop being lazy and move her things over to mine. x3 She goes by Sunset, though.

I'm actually busy now, haha. School's out, but I'm helping out with my robotics team's summer camp. We pretty much teach about seven classes (in sessions) to younger kids about Lego robots, engineering software, and engineering tools. Very fun, but also very busy.

And, happy birthday! Ah, I do believe I have a gift for ya. :3

No... Belgain Malinois puppies BITE. The breeders will tell you about it, but they don't really end up telling you how bad it is. She gets bruises and occasionally a cut or something. For some reason Malinois puppies are ten times worse than other puppies. He's not agressive though. He just has so much energy and he gets SO excited by everything. He will grow out of it though. He's only about 10 weeks right now. Ah... -totally never would have guessed your reason-

My dog trainer competes in Schutzhund. Well, not anymore after her dog died, but she got a new one. A malinois puppy. He's insanely cute, but he BITES. Malinois puppies are known for that. They grow out of it though. She's going to have him compete in Schutzhund, Obedience Trials, and possibly in the show ring. He's from working lines though... but she's taking him to a conformation class because it's good for training and such and the teacher (who shows) said that he's actually very well built and moves wonderfully. So... who knows. xD

Do you seriously doubt Rosemary's ability to get into clubs/parties? xD
(04-25-2010 at 6:57 AM)
Johndeer
Lol. I accidentally drank some of my grandpa's beer once, thinking it was apple juice. It was sooo nasty. Rosemary's just Rosemary. Her parents gave it to her at parties and stuff, so now she still drinks it sometimes. Mostly at parties.
(04-24-2010 at 10:47 PM)
Johndeer
Blame Rosemary's parents. She only really drinks wine and champagne though. You can get drunk off of wine, though. My friend did when she was... 10 on passover. It was low-content, but her parents just kept giving her more when she asked. -pokes- You can't though! It's not appropriate behavior for a young woman of your class. Lol. It's fine... I don't really need anything.
(04-24-2010 at 10:33 PM)
Johndeer
Lol. I know... I was actually planning on her telling him that she loved him, but then it never happened. xD But, I was going to have her say it when she was really tired and/or drunk so that either a) she wouldn't remember it or b) say that she didn't mean it.

I am very ashamed of you. I have seen not one, but at LEAST four posts where you have signed your name. How can I /not/ be ashamed of you?

:P

Hehe. Yes. Cheetah Dye! Jandee is just on when no one else is. xD
(04-24-2010 at 4:23 PM)
Johndeer
But Rosemary looooves Spencer (not that she'd ever admit it >.>), she won't dump him. Yes. Yes. I saw it. Jandee sees all and I am ASHAMED of you. >.<
(04-24-2010 at 6:41 AM)
Johndeer
And you're driving me crazy with the signing of your topics. No matter how good it looks: You.Are.Still.Signing. D:
(04-24-2010 at 6:39 AM)
Johndeer
Lol. I'm not sure if Spencer minds though... o.o I gtg for the night... I feel like crap...
(04-24-2010 at 6:32 AM)
Johndeer
Lets just say he's a slave of sorts to her. O.O No... I am. You just haven't done anything to warrant it.
(04-24-2010 at 6:14 AM)
Johndeer
Yes... you don't want to know what she does with him. o.o On a side note: Hi. I'm a jerk. :P
(04-24-2010 at 6:07 AM)
Johndeer
I knooow... I need to find a snack to bring. Meh. My grandpa ate all of my food. D: o.o -grabs Rosemary and runs away- I just thought you should know though... Rosemary officially owns Spencer. Missy transferred his ownership to Rosemary. I feel bad for the guy. o.o
(04-24-2010 at 5:36 AM)
Johndeer
Rawr. I'm so tired. I have to take an SAT Prep Test tomorrow at 9 in the morning. D: OMG. That's so creepy. O.O Should Rosemary watch her back?
(04-24-2010 at 5:02 AM)

Thank you so much for the beautiful pup. I will take good care of her. Oh and I read about your sim! Good luck! :)

Sorry I haven't replied to Rose-Gabe (-LeGasp-). I'll probably reply later tonight. I'm really stressed.
(04-24-2010 at 2:11 AM)
Johndeer
Okay. I'll message you now then. I don't know how long it will take me to type. Lol. Yes. Christopher Pike. I ran to show my mom when I found it. xD
(04-24-2010 at 2:06 AM)
Johndeer
Hey... um... are you going to be on for a bit? I need to tell you something, but I have a feeling you won't talk to me anymore after I tell you... on a happier note... I saw a book at the book store that was written by Christopher Pike. xD
(04-23-2010 at 11:25 PM)
RiPtide
Yeah, the world has so... what should I gently call it?... Brainwashed people so that they're very stuck in their mindsets, but then again, so are we xD Although lots of non Christians accuse Christians of being close minded, which is true up to a point, I think as a general rule we're much more open minded than they give us credit for. I just have to stay off the debate boards more, there's really no way that you can change a person's mind through the internet. sigh. Cool =] I'm a Christian, but I don't affiliate with any type of denomination. I go to a Bible believing ARP (Presbyterian) church right now. Lonnng post! haha
(04-23-2010 at 11:14 PM)
RiPtide
Hello =D Just wanted to say hey, was very impressed by your well done post on the "gay rights" thread of the the debate board. I was glad to see it, made me feel glad there's someone like minded there =D Are you a Christian?
(04-23-2010 at 9:01 PM)
Johndeer
I don't watch (okay. I watched it once and nearly died) ENT at all (I don't count it as a series) so I have no idea what any of them look like. Lol. That's really funny. I haven't read the books either. I might end up taking an English class where they read the book and watch the movie and study the battle scenes. o.o
(04-23-2010 at 8:39 PM)
Johndeer
OMG. I wish I had a collection that big. o.o I like the TOS Phasers (including Type-2) better than TNG, although the TNG ones doo look a little more epic. I've never seen Lord of the Rings... -hides head in shame-
(04-23-2010 at 7:45 PM)
Johndeer
Ooo. Sounds lovely! I'm dying for a Type-3. I also want an Assault Phaser. They look really cool. The Rifles go for so much. D: Some go upward of $300. And it's nearly impossible to find any that actually light up most that you find are props. Oh. And my Type-1 phaser is from TOS and not TNG. I still need a Type-1 from TNG.
(04-23-2010 at 6:59 AM)
Johndeer
Yes. I only have starfleet phasers. I have two type-2s, one type-1, I really want a type-3, but they're harder to find.
(04-23-2010 at 6:43 AM)
Johndeer
Aww!! I don't think my mom will get me get one because they're a "weapon". Psh. I do have replica phasers though of various types.
(04-23-2010 at 5:41 AM)
Johndeer
Lol. That's my favorite Klingon insult! xD It's the only one I know how to say. I really want a bat'leth. -drools- They are awesome.
(04-23-2010 at 5:08 AM)
Johndeer
Lol. Did anything bad happen? Those nerve pinches work. o.o And you can accidentally kill someone if they have an underlying medical condition. Don't try it. o.o
(04-23-2010 at 4:57 AM)
Johndeer
OMG. You have? I've only ever tried on my mom. xD
(04-23-2010 at 4:47 AM)
Johndeer
Are you suuuure? Rosemary is a partial telepath (Much like the lovely Deanna Troy) and can only communicate with other telepaths, but she can preform mind melds! (Obviously stolen from the lovely Vulcans)
(04-23-2010 at 4:38 AM)
Johndeer
xD Did I reply to our one-on-one?

It has the word "Assassin" in it. Not allowed to play it. :/
(04-22-2010 at 6:55 AM)
Johndeer
Yes. I believe I have that too, but for PS2.
(04-22-2010 at 6:47 AM)
Johndeer
Ah... My mom won't let me play any games involving guns and shooting people/animals. I played one once at my friend's neighbors house though. I love the Mario games. I like PS2 because they have some really good racing/car games as well as horse racing games.
(04-22-2010 at 6:27 AM)
Johndeer
I was never a fan of xbox... More of a PS kind of person... don't like the PS3 though. I'll stick to my PS2 thank you very much. I got Mario Kart for the Wii though... it's AMAZING.
(04-22-2010 at 5:53 AM)
Johndeer
I am back.

Yeah. So scary to think about people just nosing into your personal info. >> Same thing with identity theft and whatnot - it's so creepy to think about. And can happen if you wantonly give away your info.
(04-22-2010 at 4:46 AM)
Johndeer
I'll be on later. Going to play the wii.
(04-22-2010 at 3:27 AM)

Thanks for referring me to this great site! =D
(04-22-2010 at 2:30 AM)
Soviet
Thanks! & you would be right about that name. ^^ & Russian is a beautiful language, I think English is as well and am thankful they taught us it in schools because as an adult I doubt I'd try to approach it..it is very complex at first. :S but German seems familiar in a way to English.
(04-22-2010 at 12:29 AM)
JumbleBerryPie
Ha ha, I'm good, thank ya! I'm actually moving to Colorado this Summer to attend this super cool Prep School! -is excited- How is life for you? Oh, and I must say, I was kinda shocked seeing the German on your page. Only because I've been taking it for three years now. Do you speak it? If so, then I could use practice! ^^
(04-21-2010 at 11:26 PM)
Johndeer

(04-21-2010 at 11:23 PM)

How the heck do you have 60 referrals?
(04-21-2010 at 9:34 PM)

Thanks! & Yup, German, though I don't really speak it, just Russian and English but...I 'think' I know what some of those names mean. :3
(04-21-2010 at 7:20 PM)
Johndeer
Lol. Well, you can't. You aren't as awesome as us. :P
(04-21-2010 at 7:13 PM)

(04-21-2010 at 7:28 AM)

Sure. With there powers would work seeing as that would be how you would rp him.
(04-21-2010 at 7:06 AM)
Johndeer
Poor Rosemary. D: Goop. xD Do you want to try a one-on-one or something? Random Gabrial and Rosemary fluff just to see how they would interact.
(04-21-2010 at 6:45 AM)

o.o I understand. Rosemary feels his pain. She hates being called Rose.

Haha. xD If I were awake, too (over the summer), then I could usually snag a bite for myself. Haha! But yeah, sometimes it makes you hungry to smell it.
Yes, they certainly can be. xD
I feel bad applying it to my brother, but meh. xD It's true.

Yeah, I'm not on any of those sites. I think the Internet is great when you're anonymous... I just don't even want to deal with the non-anonymous parts of it. Especially because colleges look at your Facebook friends and such.
It was so fun. ^^- It took half an hour to get the make-up off, though. xD

I'm no stranger to the 3AM meals. My bro used to make random pizzas in the night/morning. Over the summer, he also had friends over all the time... often until 4 in the morning. He was quite the social butterfly, or something. xD

Yeah, people seem to do it pretty easily, too. Like Facebook. o_0 I don't see how gender is bad, but when you're giving out addresses, or your school's title, you're giving out too much. Or posting photographs; I always cringe when I see those. xD
Except for my photograph of myself. xD I always use this one: http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh152/Saeko-san/46120005.jpg
'Cuz you can't tell that it's me. xD Even my own parents didn't recognize me. o_0 (Had it taken in Japan by a professional studio, who also provided the maiko outfit/make-up.)
(04-21-2010 at 4:12 AM)

I /would/ call him at odd hours, but I'm afraid of using the telephone. ^^; I avoid it when I can. Plus, odd hours for me are probably normal hours for him, lol. He's up to all kinds of strange hours at night.

Heheh, yeah. I hate being asked. I have condensed my personal info into "High Schooler in the US." 'Cuz that's all I'll give out. Oh, and that I'm female, but hey, that's apparent in the name... Well that's one you forgot. xD Gender.
(04-21-2010 at 4:03 AM)

Rosemary says it's an invitation and that she doesn't know if she smells like rosemary bush leaves. o.o Mmm... he's tall. Rosemary will like that... mostly because it means he's taller than her. xD

Gracie's Side
Yes, the... "tackle" side? o_0

Definitely! Haha, I have a real life older brother, too. He's in college now, though. :| My favorite siblings in roleplays, though, are shared between Missy and I. Man, it's soooo much fun to bug older brothers when that older brother is someone else's charrie.
Teyrain's older brother is Shinya, which is a less awesome name. xD Teyrain rocks.

By the way, I love how you set up a detailed profile form and gave away no details. xD

Feel free to beg for the form. xD I'd give you the whole thing, but I'unno how to transport it other than e-mail. *shrugs*

In other news, as Jandee hinted at, we convinced Missy to join so she could chat with ya.
(04-21-2010 at 2:47 AM)
Johndeer
Beau's pretty awesome... I love him. I love him the most of all my characters, but he's not my favorite. Just the most loved. ^.^ Wow. Crazy grandpa! Mmm... makes sense. Woah... interesting... btw, Missy should be joining Alacrity...
(04-21-2010 at 12:35 AM)
Johndeer
Naomi would never hit her bother. :o She loves him more than anything. Beau's girlfriend (they never actually broke up, but they haven't seen each other in, what, three years? So they aren't together obviously) was aware that he was planning on leaving, but she wanted him to stay and tried to convince him to stay. So, he left without telling her or Naomi so that neither of them would stop him. Yes. He killed his father. The sheriff of the town was very aware that Beau killed his dad, but for... reasons... he was never arrested. The scar on Beau's chest was caused by the leg of a metal chair (the rubber part had come off). Lol... yes... she did want to go to Ireland. I think Carter was for Fiji, but I don't remember... I think he wanted Fiji because it's more... romantic. o.o Eight cars?!?! Is Alex a masochist? Luke is. ^.^
(04-20-2010 at 9:19 PM)
Johndeer
Beau not only left his sister, but he also left his girlfriend (who may or may not have been pregnant at the time -.-) without telling her he was leaving. But, after Naomi graduated high school, he came back for her and just may have... uh... -cough-killed-cough- his dad... o.o Beau has many scars over his back, chest, and arms. His most prominent scar is one diagonally along his chest that measures about 8 inches long. Wow. Ren is tall. Susan is afraid of the ocean? But they're going to Fiji. xD
(04-20-2010 at 8:56 PM)
Johndeer
Poor Carter... x.x lol. I don't hate her. I promise! Wow. Ali. I was on my iPod last night. xD It was sooooo late. I nearly fell asleep at least ten times. Hmm... Beau and Naomi are originally from Fuller, Michigan. When Beau turned 18, he quit high school and moved to Freedom, California, leaving Naomi with her abusive father. o.o
(04-20-2010 at 9:06 AM)
Johndeer
Aw... Carter would have to comfort her. I'm glad Carter because Rosemary's form of comfort for getting pregnant would be what caused her to get pregnant in the first place. xD I'm still debating about making her sterile... or maybe make her not able to carry a baby to term... Then they could still have test-tube baby... Or maybe just some fertility problems involving the need for artificial insemination.... -thinks- Rosemary was only 16 in Otter, that's why. I have a specific town, but I forget the name...
(04-20-2010 at 8:52 AM)
Johndeer
Thankfully, Carter handles tears pretty well, but why whould she be crying? I /promise/ I am not out to get Rosemary. >.> Lol. Yeah... Carter is tall. The whole family is tall. I find it funny that Rose is taller than Alex. xD Hmm... Random fact... The Larks are from Connecticut.
(04-20-2010 at 8:37 AM)
Johndeer
Yes... Unfortunately, I feel like later would be worse than sooner for Carter. Lol. I don't hate Rosemary... I just like to cause her pain and suffering. xD Woah. Susan is a LOT shorter than Carter. Carter is 5' 11", Rosemary is 5' 9-10" and Destiny is the shortest at 5' 8". xD
(04-20-2010 at 7:14 AM)
Johndeer
Lol. Yes. I want him to, but I could totally see the baby being kidnapped/used for blackmail, which would be no good. No. I mean like where we'll actually roleplay it. Poor Carter... He probably wouldn't mention it until someone else (such as Susan) brought up past relationships. o.o I've actually thought of making Rosemary sterile. I enjoy screwing her over. xP All the members of the Lark clan are blonde, except their father who has honey brown colored hair with some blonde highlights during the summer.
(04-20-2010 at 6:53 AM)
Johndeer
Carter says he will gladly wait, although money is certainly not an issue. Carter isn't jumping at a chance to impregnate Susan. (I kind of want him to, though. o.o) Yes. Beau loves his bourbon. I haven't yet. She's never on when I am. I might just shoot her a message. The only problem is location... Owie. Interesting past... Carter's is very uneventful. Perfect grades. Blissfully unaware of family problems. Ooo. Bet you didn't know he had the same girlfriend through high school and that they were actually planning on getting married. o.o Would Susan be jealous? What would happen if he didn't tell her until they were engaged? o.o Uh... Rosemary's been on birthcontrol since she was 13 per her mom's order; however, she never insisted on Destiny being put on birthcontrol.
(04-20-2010 at 6:33 AM)
Johndeer
Unknown wording and a picture... hm... Carter would be such a good daddy though. -huggles Carter- What? Most unagreeable month of the year? xD Carter wears boxer briefs. Best of both worlds. xD -gulps- No records. Anywhere? Lol... Alex... Rosemary has a fear of dying alone and Destiny has a fear of rejection. Carter doesn't have any phobias... um... -thinks- Beau's favorite drink is bourbon... -sighs- I really want to rp Susan and Carter and have them get married. I loves them together... Destiny and Carter still have their "innocence". Carter's is because he's a good boy and Destiny's is mainly because her boyfriends always end up falling for her sister and leave her. -.- Sometimes Rose sleeps with them... if she likes them enough or just wants to make her sister mad/get back at her.
(04-20-2010 at 6:14 AM)
Johndeer
Gosh... I think Lanie would be insanely jealous if she found that out. /And/ if Carter ever found that out /and/ happened to get Susan pregnant he would probably bring that up to make his point... Yes. It was for his baby sister. I think I'd be slightly afraid for Rosemary and Gabrial mixing... Yup. That is part of Rose/Destiny background. One of the many reasons they don't mix well. Hmm... interesting... Both Carter and Destiny were born in November (17th and 11th respectively) , but Rosemary was born in May (3rd). Carter and Destiny are A Positive, but Rosemary is O Positive.
(04-20-2010 at 5:56 AM)
Johndeer
Omg... Alex got her pregnant, didn't he? Yes... Beau stole ice. It was for Naomi after their dad beat her up and there was no ice in the house, so he ran off to the general store and tried to steal some. Powers? How would Gabrial and Rosemary mix, do you think? Gah! I want to know now! Poor Susan... Well, it technically was Rose's boyfriends idea, but in a way... once she got going she didn't stop... that's one reason I feel kind of bad for Spencer... OMG. She was going to be called Levi? Levi is the name of a boy which Destiny was head over heels for, but then he left her to try and get her older sister, Rosemary. He did and then Destiny went on a rampage of emotional abuse toward Rosemary. o.o
(04-20-2010 at 5:36 AM)
Johndeer
Stuff? o.o Beau's from a small town and was arrested for stealing... ice... When he was 12... xD He stole multiple times after that, but he never got arrested again. Persuasive? What?! He nearly killed himself?!? Rosemary was on anti-depressants for a while. She lost her "innocence" on her 16th birthday thanks her her lovely boyfriend, David, who dumped her a few months later.
(04-20-2010 at 5:26 AM)
Johndeer
Lol. Yes... reasons... The Lark's father owns company which makes fancy watches. o.o xD Kind of an odd reason for them being rich. Beau has a criminal record.
(04-20-2010 at 5:13 AM)
Johndeer
:O Those would be good things for Carter to know. :P Rosemary started modeling when she was 12, but she quit when she was 16 for... reasons...
(04-20-2010 at 5:09 AM)
Johndeer
-rubs hands together- Let's see what I got. Beau likes all foods except peas and carrots. His favorite hobby is running.
(04-20-2010 at 4:23 AM)
Johndeer
Lol. I could just imagine that. There is an elevator at school in the main office/library building and it's terrifying. o.o I've gone in it... three times and each time I nearly had a panic attack. Lol. Nope. I have more, though, if you want. xD
(04-20-2010 at 2:55 AM)
Johndeer
Yes. We probably would. xD
(04-20-2010 at 2:34 AM)
Johndeer
Lol. He does? OMG. Beau would probably have a heart attack. So would I. I would be comforted by the fact that others would die with me though. xD
(04-20-2010 at 1:45 AM)
Johndeer
Beau is 21 years old. His blood type is O Positive. He is allergic to bees and has only one fear, which is elevators. o.o
(04-20-2010 at 1:40 AM)
Johndeer
Woo... let me find some... give me a second...
(04-20-2010 at 1:20 AM)
Johndeer
Yes, well. He is her (hot) older brother. His name is actually Kevin and his middle name is Beau, but he just goes by Beau because he's awesome like that. Want to know random facts about him, lol?
(04-20-2010 at 12:27 AM)
Johndeer
Yeah. It was fun. I used Beau. You don't know him. Do you know Naomi? He's her older brother. Okay. I'll read the lyrics. xD That'd be really awesome, Cheetah. o.o
(04-19-2010 at 10:35 PM)
Johndeer
o.o That is weird. To me. But my Creative Writing teacher would LOVE it. Our homework one night was to take our characters everywhere and then write about how they would respond to the situations differently from us. I like my quiet characters to a point... they are more lovable, but I find that they are less interesting to roleplay unless one of the other characters actually bothers with them. You know? I listened to it, but I don't get it. o.o I'm painting it (bright flamingo) pink, (bright) orange, and (bright) white.

Lol. No... I don't think it's /that/ weird. xD Jamie is much quieter than Carter. In a way, he's more mysterious. He only talks when he has something important to stay. I was rping him in some roleplay with Missy and... some other people... I don't remember. Anyways, he had to arm wrestle some hot-shot in it and he won. (Which was a big deal, but I don't know how to explain it exactly...) Then he just got up and walked back to his dorm room. xD The other guy was all mad and he just sort of shrugged it off like it was no big deal. Okay. I listen to it a little later. (I need to go paint my room right now.)
(04-19-2010 at 8:06 AM)
Johndeer
Lol. Oh, Alex. I could totally see Susan getting very mad at him. Carter would probably just ignore Alex and brush him off. -hugs Carter-Mai sweeteh pie. I have another boy character, Jamie, who is newer and he's so sweet and I just want to huggle him.
(04-19-2010 at 7:55 AM)
Johndeer
Lol. Sounds odd and difficult. Poor Susan. How was Alex having fun/interfering? I want details, woman. :P
(04-19-2010 at 7:44 AM)
Johndeer
Rosemary is a born entertainer. xD She's very risqué. I don't think Spencer likes that about her though... seeing as she can't just settle on one guy. He tat- what now? How is that even possible? xD Bubbles? How did that work out?
(04-19-2010 at 7:25 AM)
Johndeer
Lol. It's fine. I do the same. xD Lol. Ali... It's so funny... All of them crying. How dare you wake up too soon! Rosemary wouldn't do it in front of girls. o.o Maybe guys. Put on a show. xD Shw definatly wouldn't do it with Lanie around though. She'd probably get him alone. Possibly try to throw some beer or whiskey down his throat before. She's very self serving and rather smart, but she only ever uses her smarts to get what she wants. o.o
(04-19-2010 at 7:03 AM)
Johndeer
Poor Carter having to find bananas... sounds like an amuzing dream though. xP Why was everyone crying though? xD I could totally see Rose planning a baby shower and crazy night out. xD Rosemary would probably get frustrated then and just turn on Alex. She'd start majorly flirting with him. Probably push him onto a bed and- I'll stop there. It would be her form of punishment. xD Pleasurable punishment. xD Don't know how Ali would feel about that though. cD Boxbaby? xD
(04-19-2010 at 6:37 AM)
Johndeer
Carter /would/ be freaking out if Susan was pregnant. Probably a little more if he weren't the father because he'd be kind of jealous that she ran off and got pregnant with some other dude. He'd be more ashamed of himself if he was, in fact, the dad, but he wouldn't be overly worried because he, obviously, doesn't plan on leaving her. Lol. Alex jumping off the Empire State Building? Rosemary would want to kill Alex, but she'd probably just go and buy a wig (like Lady Gaga's) and all would be well again because only they would know about it and she could still hit on other guys. o.o She'd be very angry at Alex though. A box, but a baby? /Their/ baby? What now? Lanie, a hippie? Lol. Keep going. It's entertaining. xD Rabid reindeer?
(04-19-2010 at 6:24 AM)
Johndeer
Sure... you "can't help it"... psh... But, uh, what /other/ things have you seen? o.o -gulps- Carter should certainly keep to himself. lol. How mad would Susan be?
(04-19-2010 at 6:17 AM)
Johndeer
Lol. You have freaky dreams. Yes... glad you read the rest of that. xD Eh. Carter wouldn't do anything too bad. He's a smart boy. I'd be sad if his pretty face got messed up by Alex though. D: It would be a sad day for us all...
(04-19-2010 at 4:52 AM)
Johndeer
o.o Susan? Drunk? xD He'd most definatly get her up to bed (no...) so that she could sleep it off. He'd be a little worried, I think.
(04-19-2010 at 3:15 AM)
Johndeer
Thankfully, Carter wouldn't try anything on Susan. He would /want/ to, but he wouldn't. Even if Susan wanted to, he probably would stop before anything went too far. Yes. The jawline was very good.
(04-19-2010 at 2:52 AM)
Johndeer
Lol. At least Alex wouldn't slaughter Carter for stealing his baby sister. xP Rosemary is... just... wow... She's very confident, but at the same time she lacks all self-confidence. It's weird... I don't know how to explain it very well. Yes. They're adorable. :3 You got Carter's face shape pretty good though which, I find, is the most important part.
(04-19-2010 at 2:41 AM)
Johndeer
Oh and that picture... adorable! I love it. xD
(04-19-2010 at 2:41 AM)
Johndeer
Lol. Well, obviously that's /my/ reaction. :P Carter would no approve of the whole room watching... He'd glare at anyone staring at her and probably try to steal her away. Rosemary would gladly parade around. xD I could totally see her as a stripper or something of the sort. She's very shameless.

D: I made a really long post and it got eaten... T-T Well, anyway, the only important part was that I not only saved Lydia's original form, but also saved the entire first thread of Fantasy. I wish I'd saved more. :|

Not much, finally started after Gracie's nagging me. But, I like it. A virtual dog is better than none at all, right? -blinks- So, how are you?
(04-18-2010 at 6:12 AM)

Oh... lol. Well, uh... my mind wouldn't have thought of that. I automatically go to the dirty possibility. xD They could get married too though. xD Lol. Carter bartending. xD I could defiantly imagine him watching though. Actually... it'd be more like staring. xD Poor Alex...

Hooded rats are pretty darn cute. Tucker is just a beige lil guy. Tucker has a smooth coat, but his late brother Caelum had some rex fur on his back. It was really interesting. His whiskers were curly too. xD Well hey, there's a good reason to look up rat inheritance! To see why Cael was only partially rex.

Thanks. *blushes* And I'm glad you knew it was Autumn, too. ^^- Did I get Lydia's hair right? That's how I've always imagined it, and you were really vague when I looked up the profile form again. xD I have it saved on my computer.
I'm glad your scanner wizened up! I'd love to see your pics too. ^^
(04-17-2010 at 6:11 PM)
Johndeer
o.o Carter would /want/ to, but he wouldn't though. At least not until they were married. He's a good boy. -pokes Carter- Lol. I think that's right. She changed her hair because she wanted to make Spencer jealous. That way he would pay attention to her. Uh... Susan was a belly dancer in your dream? xD What is Carter doing in it?
(04-17-2010 at 6:59 AM)
Johndeer
Carter is... 18 in most of the rps, including Otter. Rosemary was 16 though. In Otter Rosemary started out with the wavy golden hair, I believe, but then she went to the hair dresser for some reason and came back with her gorgeous ash blonde hair. There was a reason for it... I just don't remember why... probably had something to do with Spencer...
(04-17-2010 at 6:52 AM)
Johndeer
Hehe. Pouty face. Well, Rosemary looks different in certain roleplays depending on what "stage" I have her set in. She has five "stages". In stage one, she has wavy golden blond hair instead of the straight ash blonde colored hair.
(04-17-2010 at 6:37 AM)
Johndeer
Lol. Magic milk. I'll go look up Brittany Snow... Carter looks sort of like Jesse McCartney, but not *exactly*. Rosemary is basically Chantal Jones down to a T. xD The height, the hair, the face shape. Basically the exact way I imagined her. Different colored eyes though.

Rats do have cute sleepy faces. ^^- Though Tucker is half-awake now. I just gave him a piece of cantaloupe for a treat, and he loved it! :D It was suggested by someone I was talking to on Aywas. It took Tuck a while to eat it though, haha. Savoring the flavor. ^^
It's a ton of fun. If ya join 4-H, you have to do that project - it's just a given for rodent lovers. ;)

My mom was going to move to Colorado a while ago before she had me, but she never did... Hmm... sounds interesting. A glass of milk? xD How do you think they look /now/? I have a horrid time picturing characters. I, more or less, find an actual person that fits them and use that as a ref now. The only character I can really imagine from Otter that isn't mine is Spencer. That's it. xD
(04-16-2010 at 3:38 PM)
Johndeer
I don't like FF either... No. My mom doesn't love me a lot. She just hates our family and kind of likes me. When I say "town" it basically means "anywhere that's not the city". "Small" refers to the size. We've already looked at houses there and it's very easy to find a non-expensive house that's still a good size in a small town. I want to live in a town with, like, 500 people and you know everyone and everyone knows you type of thing. I have a semi-pro camera, Cheetah. :P I'd be bringing that. The one Arizona school I looked at is a good school and I've been told people really like it there, but it's more of a safety school for me... not a top choice. -kicks scanner- Work. I command you.

It couldn't possibly be worse than cat genetics could it? o_0 I mean, cats are bigger and all... o' course, I only studied coat color inheritance for cats. Not overly difficult. And, little Tucktuck raised his head and blinked blearily at me when I told him you said hello. I'll repeat it tonight when he's awake ;) 4-H has Pocket Pets, which includes virtually every animal that does not have another group. Most participants are rodent pets or reptiles. Guinea pigs, rats, and hamsters are most common. I love seeing them all in that room together! *squees*

Any particular reason for the gerbil gene research? :P Actually, I should research rat genetics - that's a very good idea! Fun to know, plus being really smart impresses the 4-H judges. I'm showing Tucker in this summer's 4-H fair.

And yeah, torbies are so cute. o_0 Kittens in general... so adorable... And of course I remembered the classic M shape. :3 It even has blue eyes since it's a kitten. -pokes them-

Oh. That happens to me too. On IE. That's why I use FF now. My mom is moving to whatever state I go to college in, so if I go to CSU then she'll be buying a house near Fort Collins, hopefully in a small town. I have never been to Wyoming, but my grandpa has. All the colleges I've looked at are gorgeous. I've also looked at one in Arizona, but that's just a safety school...
(04-15-2010 at 10:25 PM)
Johndeer
Lol. Why does proboards hate you? West Point is crazy tough to get into. Ah... Colorado State U is my top choice. It's a very good school without being Ivy league or anything, they have a vet school, they're are tons of ski resorts around it, there is plenty of wilderness. It's like my dream. I do, however, like Montana a little more as a place to go to college, but the only problem is that they don't have the exact major I want... I'd have to be more lenient with my major. -sigh- I love Colorado though. I just really like small towns, so that's where I'd want to live. But I also like going into cities. lol. I just don't want to live there. Colorado is still my first choice though because then I'll have more options. Wyoming also looks amazing though... -sigh- Can't choose!
(04-15-2010 at 10:09 PM)
Johndeer
Well, there is always Missy's proboard site. I mean, it's only Misery, Gracie, Shika, and I, so there aren't any "strangers" you could say. I'm taking the SATs in June. Lol. Yes, West Point. I'm defiantly not going there. One of my friends brothers goes there and he signed up for a class where they teach you how to be POW, so, like... they torture you. It's kind of odd... I've been thinking about joining the Army or Navy as a civilian when I'm older (so I'd try and get hired for a civilian job). They pay pretty well. The only one I have in New England is UVT, but it's the most expensive of all the colleges I've looked at (excluding McGill in Canada). Most New England Colleges don't have my major/combination of majors. I'm going to go over my list again and see if any of them have any ceramics classes to help me narrow down my list a bit. I'd love to be able to take Ceramics in college. My top three choices are Colorado State University: Fort Collins, University of Wyoming, and the University of Montana.
(04-15-2010 at 9:38 PM)
Johndeer
I have no idea where we would post it... Have you taken your PSATs or SATs? Because after you take either you get lots of mail/calls from colleges. I've even gotten two letters from West Point. xD Most of the colleges I've been looking at are to the West. I believe it is the one. She got into it. She was very excited.
(04-15-2010 at 9:24 PM)
Johndeer
Well, I mean, if it's only the three of us then it's kind of a "post when you can" type of thing. You know? Cheetah, darling, I'm a junior in high school. I already have a list of colleges I'm going to be applying too. xD Yeah, Missy got into a private school. The neat part is that it's near my top choice for colleges (so, if I get in I'd be going there) and she could totally stop by the college to see me sometime, which is awesome. Okay. It wasn't epic. Lol. I love Gaga though. She's awesome because she's so different. She's not afraid to be herself and I admire her for that. My little cousin asked for a cell phone and ugg boots for Christmas. xD
(04-15-2010 at 3:48 PM)
Johndeer
Lol. I forgot that Gracie wasn't part of it. xD I'm sure Missy would like to start Otter again. I'll message her at some point later today... She hasn't been on too much recently. She just moved a week or two ago. Yes... it was epic...

-doesn't remember the last thing I responded to- So yeah! The adopts are coming along too fast for me to record well now. xD I just keep coloring. I did a lot of research on feline genetics today, specifically in coat pattern inheritance, and it was so much fun. Did you know that tortoiseshells can have tabby patterning? And that's called torbie. xD
(04-15-2010 at 6:54 AM)

I would like an Otter rebirth too. I'm sure Gracie and Misery would be up for it. Misery does not play Alacrity. Yes... a new episode... and it's good... very good... kind of epic... lots of people being shot/killed.

I'm surprised to find that you drew them kissing. They're so cute though... -wants to rp them again- I love Criminal Minds... it's a new episode! :D Mm.... maybe I shouldn't of told you that... make you feel all depressed and forlorn... oh well. No use in wearing out the backspace button. xD
(04-15-2010 at 6:13 AM)
Johndeer
Yes... don't read it if you value your innocence... Lol. I can't imagine you drawing them kissing. Now I /really/ want to see. (That sounds a bit pervy... oh wells.) Lol. You're watching American Idol? xD I'm watching Criminal Minds!
(04-15-2010 at 5:50 AM)

I also suggest you skip "Forever" by Judy Blume. It's very similar, if not worse, than some of the hard-core romance books I've read. Another one? Of them kissing? xD Lol. Have fun eating... dinner? Yes. That should be right.
(04-15-2010 at 5:36 AM)
Johndeer
No. He's a very good romance writer without being rated NC-17. I've read some hard-core romance. I suggest you don't. Lol. I won't tell Susan you call her -whispers- Susie. -giggles- Lol. Okay. If you can scan it, I shall see, if not then I will not. Correct?
(04-15-2010 at 5:29 AM)

I'm not complaining (that you're back early). Smiling is a sign of fear in chimpanzees. o.o You're afraid of me. I /love/ Nicholas Sparks' books. They are amazing and I tend to like his movies too. My friend and I were the only ones in the movie theater, so we got to make fun of Miley Cyrus (and giggle at Liam's hotness) as loud as we wanted to. It was fun. Movie wasn't /great/, but it wasn't bad. I like Dear John better. I shall get you some photographs. Eh. I don't like my poetry so much. Carter and Susan? Aww. So cute.

Oh, Alex... -sigh- What will we do with you? I'm not funny. :P How can I be funny? I will admit that I'm random, though. That's what one of my friends at camp said when I told her I'd be leaving early. She said, "I'm going to miss you and you're randomness." Yup. I LOVE ceramics. All the other stuff, though, I just pretend to be good at. I'm a very convincing person. If you say something, be it a total lie, with confidence then people /will/ believe you. I'm a manipulative little girl. o.o Opps. Did I just say that? You aren't supposed to know that. Uh... -changes topic- I'm going to see The Last Song. (I'm such a hopeless romantic...) -changes back to ceramics- I can show you some pics of my work sometime. Some is better than others... I like working on the wheel the most as I'm the best at that... I'm horrid at pottery by hand. I don't try very hard with it though. My ceramics isn't extraordinary though. It's good, but it's not great. There really isn't anything special about it...
(04-14-2010 at 9:22 PM)
Johndeer
Lol. But Alex annoyed /Rosemary/. Probably because he wasn't flirty. xD She didn't want to try too hard with him. Carter is, like, my only non-messed up character. And Rosemary is messed up /mentally/, but it doesn't show too much... thankfully... I just bumped it up. Mm... that sounds right. I didn't know you could code. o.o You're so talented. -hugs- I feel like you're a genius or something and I'm an idiot. What kind of SIM though? Anyways... The only thing I'm remotely really good at is Ceramics and even that I just sorta wing and hope for the best. xD Response to End Note: I have to go soon-ish too. Going to a mooovie! Woo!! I probably won't be on when you get back though... I need my sleep. xD
(04-14-2010 at 9:06 PM)
Johndeer
Carter giving Alex butterfly kisses. -twitch- Rosemary. I could see that. I believe she /almost/ made a move on Alex, but then she realized he annoyed her too much. xD My characters are so messed up, but for some reason they are still lovable... I find it quite odd, myself. I hate some of my character. Rosemary and I have a love-hate relationship. xD My creative writing class was really good. Sure, I'll show you some poetry sometime. It's crap though. Some is better than others. My best poem I ever wrote it actually on the Art forum somewhere... I'll go bump the post... The poem was basically commissioned from my friend. Oh... I never gave much attention to Jezabel. xD And yes... Pete... I remember him... Uh... he was kind of flirty-ish with a character which I never roleplay anymore because I lost all of her info... uh... Layla? Aleya? Something like that... Okay. I just read your profile. A SIM? You know how to code? Spill it.
(04-14-2010 at 8:47 PM)
Johndeer
I have a feeling Carter wouldn't be able to calm Alex down. lol. You were /not/ horrible. Don't say that. And I have gotten bad. Even after my creative writing class. I think it either has to do with: a. I'm more into poetry now which does not require good grammer or b. I just have a lack of inspiration and can't write for crap. Gracie and Missy pwn. Gracie has always pwn'd though. The one with William also had Hayden I believe... I don't know the other character other than her name.
(04-14-2010 at 8:28 PM)
Johndeer
Carter would probably regret asking then. I don't think he'd know how to respond to Alex. And yes, it's understandable. Lol. You weren't bad at roleplaying. xD I've gotten really bad at rping. Gracie and Misery have been getting better though. They're better than me. :P I still rp with them though. It's fun. We still use some of the old characters plus a bunch of new ones. Missy or Gracie might actually have documents with the last part of OTR and maybe... whatever the other was called... the one with William... because we (er- they) saved them just in case you came back or something... I don't know if they'd still have them though.
(04-14-2010 at 8:12 PM)

Lol. I had a dream involving... I forget what... it was odd to say the least. Oh. lol. I totally remember that. That was hi-larious. And yes... he was going to ask her to marry him. He was going to ask Alex before he got a ring or got his hopes up too much. If Alex said no then he probably wouldn't ask Susan to marry him... at least until he couldn't take it anymore and then he'd ask her anyway and later apologize to Alex. Such a polite boy. Yup. Still in contact with Missy. Gracie, Shika, Missy, and I all still rp together on a site Missy made. Are you allowed to roleplay now or anything like that?
(04-14-2010 at 3:39 PM)
Johndeer
I don't think you want to redream the squirrel dream... doesn't sound good. o.o Lol. They didn't ever talk about if they were dating or not, did they? But then again, they never really went on dates. It would have been pre-OTR though when Rose was only 15 or so and Destiny was 13 or 14. What box? o.o Didn't I tell you? Carter was going to ask Alex in Fiji if he could ask Susan to marry him (since he couldn't very well get her parents' permission/blessing).
(04-14-2010 at 3:39 AM)
Johndeer
Lol. Are you sure? Larkins is a horrid last name. I can't believe I would use that... OMG. I remember you telling us about the squirrel dream. o.o I know... they were... that was going to be crazy awesome... Carter's flirty, yes, but he's more subtle than Rosemary. He did get more forward with Susan as the rp went on, though. He would not flirt with other girls. Ever. That's a huge no-no. He has rather good morals. Unlike his sisters. He's blissfully unaware of how Destiny treats Rose though. xD He'd be more... uh... aggressive I guess... that doesn't quiet sound right though... Anyways, he's head over heels for Susan. xD
(04-14-2010 at 3:18 AM)
Johndeer
Larkins? It was never Larkins, dear. It has been spelt differently before. (Either "Lark" or "Larke". I finally settled on "Lark" sans e.) Lol. Destiny is adorable, but she is horribly selfish. She's mainly just insecure with herself and hated how her parents paid more attention to her older sister instead of her. Poor Carter... he would be so sad if Susan ignored him. They are a pretty sexy set of siblings though. o.o Rosemary's isn't so... bad when you think about it. If it had happened to someone different it wouldn't of been a big deal, but her parents kind of screwed her over making her think she was the most fabulous, prettiest girl evah. Hehe. Luckily, he doesn't act on his thoughts. If he were married though... oh yeah... He'd probably act more flirty like Rosemary if he was married because then he could kind of do whatever he wanted with his wife and not have to worry about coming off... I don't know what word to use...

Lol. How would Susan and Alex react? Yes... Destiny has extreme contempt for her sister. You never did learn Rose's past. Part of it involves some lovely mental abuse by her little sister. They're only a year and a half or so apart age wise. You might also be surprised to hear that Carter has a very, uh... dirty mind in some ways. But you wouldn't know because you've never seen this thoughts. I have. xD

Random Character Fact of the Day: Did you know? Carter's middle name is "Andrew". OMG. Wait. Do you know that Carter and Rosemary have a younger sister (Destiny)? Lol. Be quiet. Her songs have meanings. You just need to look a little deeper.

What am I doing?

My Computer Bit the Dust.

I still have not been able to purchase a new computer, so my sole medium of Internet access is via phone. Unfortunately, Alacrity becomes a nightmare to navigate and use on it.
Until this has been sorted, you may reach me on Eagle Valley Sim, under the name of Artex (#572).

; and also on Ailouros (Artex (#860).

Pine Ridge Herding, at account #288, is now the best means of contact.

News

Arson has been reborn! (Via Rebirth item.) Rejoice!

Last night I purchasd a Forever Upgrade. Seems like a decent investment, in the long run. This morning I also picked up the Trainer Perk, and perhaps later the Breeder Perk.
6-8-10

Let us celebrate!

Another year gone. Happy Birthday to me. /sarcasm
6-5/4-10

I donated 10 Bones to the Amur Leopard Charity Drive at about 11:30PM. I am very pleased I was able to. I nearly forgot about it... cutting it kind of close to the deadline 'n all, don't you think? Hah.

5-23-10

Second place in the April/May Referral Contest. Five rares of my choosing... which I have no clue of.

5-12-10

My sweet, sweet Arson passed away today. Thing is, I only received one health warning that he was hungry. Honestly, it makes no sense.

5-3-10

Arrived home at roughly 3:20PM, today.

Purchased my first Australian Shepherd. A female named Magdalene (her name is subject to change). I was hoping for a black tri male, but she will do fine for now.

4-27-10

It is 11:16PM, and as I write this I am getting ready to head out the door at midnight, gone for a week. I apologize in advance for any messages I am unable to answer, etc.

4-15-10

As I write this I am enjoying a nice Cookie Dough milkshake. You should try one.

I may take up roleplaying again, just to get back into practise. Ugh. I haven't written in a very long time. Any recommendations?

4-13-10

I was watching a TV show when the phone rang. It was a college. I don't ever remember putting my name down for any colleges, not yet, at least... so it was pretty cool. He was very imformative, and invited me to come down sometime to check out the place.

Made my night!

When he asked if I had any questions, I sophisticatedly answered "No, not really." Of course I now have a million questions.

-facepalm-

4-12-10

...I just forgot what I was going to write here. I will be back.

Well, today I have created a new character for either roleplaying (which I haven't done in a very long time) or for a future story (again, which I haven't done in a very long time). I love his name. So uncommon. I've actually only heard it once (regardless, it is an actual name).

4-9-10

As of 12:29PM, 4/9/10, I am upgraded for a two month long period. We shall see if I like it, if so, I may invest in a year long. It expires the day after my birthday. Oh the irony! Hehah.
