Dogs for sale!!!

***When buying a dog from me, please max them before breeding. Failure to do so will result in your main and side accounts to be placed on my no sell list. It is also highly appreciated when they are trialed after being maxed. Other than that I simply request that each pup is taken care of properly. Should you desire to surrender a dog from me for whatever reason, I would be happy to re-purchase the dog for however much the dog was purchased, regardless of time passed. It is your decision if you want to sell the dog to another player, but know it is always an option to return the dog.


Who is Sol?



The name is Sol-leks, or Sol for short. I have an aspiration for Alacrity to create a working Siberian Husky kennel. I'm hoping to produce both good sled dogs and good agility dogs (this means TP of minimum 400 to 900). All will be of running lines ONLY (meaning no red showlines, only top notch personality and ability) and will be hopefully maxed out eventually, as well as earning their own sled dog degrees (from SHCA).

Sled dog degrees are as follows (Siberian Husky Club of America standard):
SD (sled dog): minimum 100 miles over 5+ races (Ala= 10 trial wins)
SDX (sled dog excellent): SD degree + 150 miles in 5+ races (Ala= 10 +15 = 25 trial wins)
SDO (sled dog outstanding): minimum 200 miles over 5+ races (Ala= 10 + 15 + 20 = 45 trial wins)

Mushing



In real life, I race and train Siberian Huskies with Tumnatki Siberians (Prineville, OR). This past season resulted in several high placings in pay-out races and the trial of some new races. I attended the Snow Dog Super Mush (Conconully, WA), Priest Lake Sled Dog Race (Priest Lake, ID), American Dog Derby (Ashton, ID), Bachelor Butte Dog Derby (Bend, OR), Stanley Sled Dog Rendezvous (Stanley, ID), and Mush Without Slush (Sisters, OR- dryland fun race).

I placed 4th at Conconully (6 dog, 20 mile), 3rd at Priest Lake (6 dog, 20 mile), 3rd at Ashton (8 dog, 20 mile), 4th at Bachelor (8 dog, 25+mile), ((non-placing at Stanley, 8 dog, 25 mile), and 1st, 1st, 3rd at Sisters (respectively: 4 dog scooter, 9-10 mile; 3 dog scooter, 5.5 mile; 3 dog scooter, 3-4 mile). Overall, my most winning season and one that partly paid for itself.

As for now, I am unsure what next season holds. I don't know if I'll still be in the area working, or at school again, so I'll keep this updated when I find out. For now, Wing (my no-longer-a-pup dog) and I are "bikejoring" around local trails just for kicks about once a week for the summer. I supplement the lack of running with hiking and backpacking.


My Pets

Besides the sled dogs, I'm owned by 1 lab/chow/pit Sasha, a black cat named Siri, and my Husky, Wingman (from Tumnatki). I partially own another cat, Shadow, and an African Grey Parrot, Sam (though these 2 live with my parents. I used to live with them and will for the next year). I have aspirations of making it to vet school and will be applying this summer. Hopefully I can get in the first or second try and fulfill my lifelong dream.


ART!

I DO art commissions. My specialty is realistic animals, though I can pull off cartoons and other such styles. I work with colored pencils, regular pencils, ink, oil/soft pastels, and markers. I do NOT do digital art, not with any talent at least. Prices are highly individualized due to the variety in possibilities. I may standardize eventually...

TAG:
1 character = 1 bone or 10,000 Ala cash
2 characters = 2 bones or 20,000 cash
3 characters (may not be doable due to size limitations)= 3 bones or 30,000 cash
Realistic pictures:
1 animal = *minimum* 50K Ala cash or 5 bones
2 animals = minimum 100K Ala cash or 10 bones
3 + animals = message for a quote
Cartoon-ish style characters:
1 animal = 15K cash or 2 bones
2 animals= 25K cash or 3 bones
3+= message me
High detail or difficult pets to draw as well as backgrounds (besides a super basic base for the animal to sit on) will cost extra. Colored pencil high detail drawings will also cost more, due to the complexity or the drawing. High detail drawings involve the individual placement or every single piece of fur by my pencil. It is time consuming and hard to reverse once I've started. Reference images are REQUIRED for realistic images of a pet/animal.

What does Likum mean?
The kennel name is Likum Siberians (pronounced "lie-koom"). It is a mixture of two Chinook words, Kumtux (meaning to know/understand) and Tillicum (meaning friend/kin). To me Likum is a statement of my commitment to know and understand Siberian Huskies as a breed, as well as knowing each and every dog in my kennel on a personal level.
