-equip an item now works properly in the dropdown for dogs on any screen
-trials 1.5 now removes completed games with no participants from history
-in some cases while training your dog but had no energy, the program would crash instead of reporting no energy. this is now fixed.
-trial messages now work correctly in the user log
new trials have been released under the new games manager!
They are presently labeled 'trials 1.5' under the 'life menu'
or
here features: games are set up for 'battle royale' style. trials can take as many contestants as possible to join
improved payouts for larger games,
reduced payouts for tinier games.
for games involving 6 or more participants, additional prize money is now awarded for 1 additional player per 3 extra entries.
TODO it took a while, because I designed a general minigame framework. More features will be worked on and steadily improved over the coming weeks, and beauty shows will follow soon after.
new trials are ready to go live, the game system is working properly, but a little threadbare
I have a dilemma tho, and I need some input from everyone.
1. the existing trials support games only if 5 players enter. in order to accommodate everyone, I've set trials to run anywhere from 2 to an unlimited number of players.
so,
1. how should we handle awarding of wins? (first , second, third place medals)
2. cash payouts
3. stat ups
on the higher side, I can scale rewards for larger player pools, to account for the higher difficulty
on the lower side, we need to decide what the rewards are for smaller matches
any ideas?
