Calling All Dogs - Alacrity Frisbee Challenge

Posted by

(#Wysper) on Jul 07, 2011
Hello, lovely Alacrites!

It is our pleasure to introduce a new game! The Frisbee Challenge!

In this game, you can run your dogs in a frisbee competition. If your dog catches the frisbee, you can win between $25 - $50! If your dog does not catch the frisbee, you don't win anything, but it was fun anyway, right? Each of your dogs can play up to 5 times per day :D

This game has a $5 entry fee and uses 5 energy from your dog to play. The faster your dog is, the better the chance he or she has of catching the disk! But even slower dogs can get lucky!

We ask that dogs which aren't at least trained in the basics do not run this challenge (we don't want dogs fighting with one another!). Additionally, your dogs should be vaccinated before running, because we don't want to facilitate doggie disease!
**Dogs must be Vaccinated and Basic Trained before being allowed to enter.**

We hope that you have fun with this new game and report any bugs that you may experience with the game to the bug issue hub!

And let's all remember to give a great big THANK YOU to our lovely artists for providing the exceptional art for this, as well as the talented Kitty for doing the coding. :-)

Rules and Consequences

Posted by

(#Wysper) on Jul 06, 2011
Hello!

We want to take this time to alert you all to the newst TOS agreement. Please take some time to read those over and re-familiarize yourself with what you agree to each time you log onto AlacritySim.

Also, per the outcome of the rules vote, we redone a detailed outline of Rules and Consequences. We love you all, but rule breaking is truly unfair to the community at large!

You can always view the list of rules and the consequences here: The Rules However, please understand that these rules, while they are hard in their gravity, do not remain fast. Are you asking, "What does this mean?" Please read on:

These rules are meant to give the Alacrity staff and players steady guidelines about what will happen when a rule is broken. However, the staff does take into consideration the severity and frequency at which a rule is violated. If you are the player to find yourself in a severe infraction of the rules, do not expect that you will be awarded the opportunity outlined here. The lovely moderators of our community can identify our severe rule breakers and they will alert the admins. Punishment will be forthcoming from the admin group.

As always, we have an open door policy here at AlacritySim. If you feel that a Newbie Helper has been unfair to you, please alert a Moderator. If a Moderator has been unfair, please alert an Administrator. These issues can be submitted to the issue hub and if you have the request to be escalated, please include that in the title of your issue hub submission and it will be escalated to the correct group.

TOS - A list of things you agree to when you log on.

Thank you all for making AlacritySim a wonderful place to play!

Ladybug- If a dog is reserved for someone, just wait to put it on sale until they're ready to buy. :)

LadyBug - When a dog is for sale anyone can buy it. If it reserved for someone you can just trade the dog for money.
