Personally, I liked the watercolorery/faded look of the old banner better. The size was also more convenient for me. I would like an option to be able to choose which banner to use.

I loved the old banner! The new one is "ok," not that I don't like it, its just, odd. I think it would be a cool idea to have banners for certain events like christmas or something.

I don't know how I feel about this.<br /> <br /> On one hand it's a site visual upgrade. The updated banner is supposed to be a display in which direction the site is going and to make the old one available is a step backward. As I said earlier, when things change, it takes time to get used to them. I'm sure a year from now you guys won't even remember the old banner. I'm hoping staff is working on fixing the banner size since that seems to be creating issues for users as well as messing up some of the other layout choices. Speaking of which, there already are other layout choices if you no longer like the original. <br /> <br /> On the other hand, I don't see what harm it could to do add it as an option. The whole thing still feels unnecessary though for just a banner and I'm rather happy we have layout choices at all. I love using my earth day one =).<br /> <br /> So I don't know if I support or don't support it. I guess I'm just tossing out my thoughts and seeing what others feel about the idea. ^^

I agree, not that I don't like this new banner. I was just used to me screen being a certain way, and now its a little messed up -_-
