This is an idea to help the site out! There's an issue with there being too much Ala Cash on the site, that's making it so people don't donate as much and therefore the server costs are not being met as well as they should be (to put it simply).
This idea would mean that it charges you $10 Ala Cash every time you press the 'Test Breeding' button on the Pup Predictor. You would still get unlimited refreshes per pair, it would just cost you per pair you tested.
Before you support or do not support, please consider that this is an idea to help Alacrity and Robyn out with expenses, which are growing as the site does. So think: would you pay $10 Ala Cash (which is almost nothing, really) to help Robyn keep Alacrity running?

Oh definitely do not support. <br /> <br /> You honestly think it's because there's too much money on the game that people aren't donating? Think about big games like Horseland or Howrse. They CERTAINLY aren't loosing money even though many of their players are mega wealthy in game.<br /> <br /> When there's more money in the game, prices inflate and generally compensates for having lots of cash in circulation. <br /> <br /> I assure you, I can think of many, many valid reasons why a lot of us are refusing to donate.<br /> <br /> If it were implemented, I'd still refuse to donate, and I wouldn't use predicts anymore, either. <br /> <br /> I feel for Robyn, I really do. But I definitely don't feel obligated to help keep the site up, or support anything that will at cost to the players. I honestly think we've been forced to sacrifice enough. <br /> <br /> Alacrity isn't the grand old game it used to be. And considering <i>many</i> recent staff decisions, I don't expect anything other than a MASSIVE overhaul to have any effect on its success.<br /> <br />

No support. I don't understand how spending 10$ in virtual $$ will help Robyn keep the site running, when it's real USD she needs to do so.<br>I think this would be kind of a slap in the face to those of us who enjoy saving our $$ to spend it on what we want. I don't like the idea of charging for trivial things like pup predicting so that we run out of $$ faster.<br>I have no $$ on my Paypal right this minute, but when I do when I'm done my commissions, I will be donating to Ala. Me having Ala cash right now is not keeping me from donating to the site, me not having USD/CAD on Paypal is what's keeping me from donating.

Support halfway<br /> <br /> Only becuase If a thousand users a day do the predictor a day, that converts to 10k being spent.<br /> <br /> HOWEVER, people can easily make this up by trailing ONE dog. some people can make 10k in one trial, which results in everthing canceling out.

I think that $10 per PAIR is not enough. I think that either $50 per pair for unlimited tests, or $5 per PREDICT should be implemented.

I think it's a problem because some people can't refresh and have to type the IDs again and again. <br /> But except for that I think it's okay. :)
