You are a feline. You are wondering around in a meadow when you see some movement in a bush. You crawl forward on your belly to get a closer look when a cat leaps on you. She pins you down giving you an icy look making you not struggle. She gets off and licks her fur. "What are you doing on clan territory? I'm Ivystar." Said the black she cat.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Redtail." Jinx pawed around in the the dirt and then looked back up at Redtail "So, are we going to start with the warrior codes and the training?" Jinx stood up and said "I'm ready if you are." Jinx was confident he would do well

"Well you still need to learn our ways so you'll need a mentor. I'll decide on your mentor after the welcoming. Stay here for now." With that Ivystar climbed up a rocky ledge and yowled "Gather around!" The clan cats walked to the ledge and sat down giving Ivytail their full attention. She explained that she found Jinx in the forest and brought him here. "Great a stray kittypet mix exactly what we need." One cat said sarcastically. Other acted friendly and welcomed him. Ivytail dismissed them and led a red tom over to Jinx. "This Redtail. HHe shall teach you how to hunt, the warrior code,and other vitalbottomets to survive out here." The red tom smiled and welcomed him.

"Wow! It's great here! My former den was just a muddy hole under a tree. Do you think they'll like me? Best thing is there's other cats not an annoying dumb mouse." Jinx looked up at at Ivystar and smiled.

"Ah. That's quit understandable" Ivystar said. "Two legs are very annoying from what I hear and 100% trouble." She added. "I can't promise the warmest of welcomes but once they get to know you they will warm up." She led Jinx through a bush and under a log finally reaching a large clearing, with some cats walking about others sitting in the sun grooming each other. "Welcome to Mistyclan" said Ivytail smiling.

'Well not a kittypet for long, left on about the 3rd day, too annoying couldn't take it. I have faint memories of the old abandoned shed I was born in. I'll never forget the day I was found. I'm sure I can be a warrior. Jinx giggles for a moment "I think it's fun having a nubby tail actually. No tail injuries!"

"It's ok." Ivystar replied. "Ah so are you a kitttypet? Or were you a feral cat that was adopted?" Ivystar said sitting up. She also looked at his nubby tail "Interesting, he must be one of the short-tailed cats" She thought to herself. "We have room in our clan for one extra mouth.. Do you wish to join life as a warrior?" She asked looking at him with her eerie blue eyes.

He didn't know he was a tailess breed. "I ran away from, a house with clidren to avoid becoming a housecat. I was an adventurous little kitten. I knew running away was best for me."
