Ladies and Gentlemen, let the 44 Hunger Games begin!</i><br /> <br /> The gong sounded, echoing throughout the arena as the land mines around each tribute became inactivated. Pike made a split decision. Run. Turning on his heel, he raced off to the cover of the forest as fast as his legs could carry him.<br /> <br /> Vanilla was ready when the gong sounded and blasted off towards the silver ax. She had always been a slow runner, but pure determination drove her on. Already a small group of people were at the cornucopia. Dodging a flying spear, she grabbed the ax and pivoted around to the woods as well, smacking people who got too close to her with the ax blade.

Max stood ready by her plate. In front of her was a bow loaded with arrows. She glance at the girl from District 7. Too bad he wasn't a career to work with. She looked to Lenox who nodded. She guessed careers in 4 were low since they sent out him. <br /> <br /> Lenox wiped sweat of his brow. This was gonna be hard. He nodded to Max. He was surprised no career volunteered for him but at least he teamed with the Careers anyways.

(I feel like starting this now x] Other people can still join in. This hunger games -so we can all be familiar with it- will look exactly like Katniss's and Peeta's arena)<br /> <br /> Pike let his eyes gaze around the other tributes, and then the giant golden cornucopia that they were all surrounding. 60 seconds. That's all the time you have to think, though not the most pleasant thoughs run through your mind. One thing that stays is half the tributes don't make it through the first day.<br /> Pike let out a breath. He would try his best to at least live through today.<br /> <br /> Vanilla was a bit lucky. Right there, right in front of her was the opening of the cornucopia.<br /> She knew she needed some sort of weapon to fight with; she wasn't very good with hand to hand combat. Less than one hundred feet in front of her, resting on it side near the bottom of the heap of items, was a silver ax. Vanilla narrowed her eyes and focused on that. If she could reach her absolute favorite weapon she could have a chance at winning.
